This company did a window replacement on our home. The windows were all custom sizes so choosing the right window and making sure they were measured properly was extremely important to us. We went down to home depot but along with the fact that we had too many and were going to have them ordered anyways we wanted to go with a professional who knew what they were doing. Right from the start this company made many suggestions about the style of the windows that made a lot of sense for the look of the home. We ended up going with a Lifetime Vinyl window by Plygem windows. they took 3 weeks to make the windows and once they were in the warehouse they were installed within a week. The communication between the project manager and the crews were amazing. It was nice to be able to communicate over text too. We always got a response right back to any issue. The windows turned out great and our home feels warmer already. The attention to detail was well done by the installers was on point We will use this company in the future

Let me begin by saying I am complicit in the fiasco that follows, because I bought a non-refundable coupon via Amazon for these guys to replace a sliding door. I thought it was an OK risk, given the positive reviews here. What a mistake -- it locked us into working with Seahawk with very little leverage, beyond the possibility of future work if things went well. Things did not go well. - On their initial visit, they tried to up-sell us on a full house window replacement. Contra their website, they used a high pressure, pitch: they gave us a quote, but said it was only good if we hired them right there on the spot (they literally waited outside our front door to give us a few minutes to discuss dropping an unplanned 25k on first contact). Cameron, the owner, gave some reason why it made sense to give a quote like this, which I didn't quite follow - During their sales pitch, they went through a photo book of previous jobs, giving the names, locations, professions, and sometimes other personal details of previous clients. Maybe the clients signed off on that level of personal detail. If you hired them in the past or plan to, I guess make sure you're OK with it. - After we told them we wanted just the door, Cameron asked for full payment up front. Unfortunately, I didn't feel I had a choice, given I'd made the mistake of committing to them via Amazon's non refundable deal. I guess I could have negotiated. Instead, I hoped for the best. - He said someone would contact us to schedule a time to measure for the door. Someone showed up, from another company (R&L) totally unexpectedly and unscheduled at 730am a few days later - When we signed the contract, Cameron told us the install date would be in about 4-5 weeks. It ended up being nearly 12 weeks: -- At 5 weeks, I called to see if an install was imminent. I called the main number I had for Seahawk, and was scolded by Nick (the other owner) for calling the wrong number and told I should text Cameron. For some reason, Nick thought it was appropriate to tell me he was losing money on the project. -- I texted Cameron for an ETA. He wouldn't give one, simply saying the door had to come from the east coast...um, ok. -- At 7 weeks, having heard nothing since, I texted Cameron for an ETA. Same thing. -- At 9 weeks, having heard nothing since, I texted Cameron for an ETA. He said they had the door and would schedule an install in the next week. -- At 10 weeks, we got a call on a Thursday night scheduling an install for early the next morning, so, very little notice that we had to work around, but we wanted to get this over with. -- Nope. The next morning, at install time, we got a call from the installer saying he couldn't come after all, because the door came in a few pieces and needed to be assembled and he didn't know how to do that. Wait, what? -- At 11.5 weeks, having heard nothing since, I called Cameron. He said they would put the door together that Friday and maybe install Saturday morning. Maybe? Now Cameron, too, took the opportunity to tell me they losing money on the project. -- Saturday, 2 guys from R&L came and installed the door - You might think, since Seahawk didn't actually do the install themselves, and given all the above, I'd get a follow up call from Cameron to make sure everything went OK. Nope. - Well, as it turns out, everything is not OK. The door is literally coming apart at the seams. It squeaks something awful when opening and closing it. And, it sticks out about 2 inches farther than our previous door, so it looks a bit ridiculous; I guess they didn't measure correctly...well, then again, Seahawk weren't the ones that measured, so maybe things got crossed up while ordering it. - I sent photos of where the door was coming apart to Cameron, a couple weeks ago. He said, no problem, we'll deal with it under warranty. Haven't heard from him since.
Description of Work: They didn't manufacture the door -- that's done by Alside, I believe. They didn't measure for the door. They didn't install the door -- both those were done by R&L Windows. So, what did Seahawk do, exactly? I guess sales and project coordination, but in those areas, they were comically inept (and, at times, downright unprofessional).

We received a mail letter from this company advertising their services. My wife called and made an estimation appointment. The project estimator gave us a good bid the same day and we went for it. The estimator was thorough and gave us choices of many different window types. We chose a mid grade option. The same with the roof, we chose what we thought was best for our humble home. It was a good experience. We have gone through more than one contractor nightmare. These guys did a good job.

It was a great experience working with Seahawk Remodeling. All of the positive reviews is what caught my attention, and I'm happy to add another good review. Mike first came out and really explained the entire process, conducted the initial measurements, and provided the cost estimate. He was up front with how the numbers worked out, and I felt comfortable that we were getting a fair price for what we wanted done. We were told that if the work wasn't done correctly, or to our satisfaction, that they would make it right. About a week later, I met with Mike and Nick (the Owner of the company) and the crew (Vitaly & Daniel) who was going to be doing the work. They did the final measurements and walked through with the guys what we wanted done, and the estimated timeline in which they were going to start working and when they thought they would finish. The work started a few weeks later, once all the materials showed up. Everything was placed next to our driveway, and along the front yard, so we had garage access the entire time. The dumpster did take up half of our driveway, but it was the best location for it without inconveniencing the neighbors. Mike did warn us to tempoarily move items hanging on the walls as there was the possibility of things falling down inside as work was being done outside. Vitaly and Daniel were consummate professionals and really good guys. Even though the weather wasn't exactly cooperative, they did not let it affect the efficiency in which the project got done. They did a beautiful job with our house, and my wife and I are thrilled at how the project turned out. I highly recommend Seahawk Remodeling and would not hesitate to reach out to them for our next big project.

We called Seahawk Remodeling to schedule an appointment to bid a roof and siding remodel. Our expectations are for the project to be $100,000+ as the project will likely entail new windows. After clearing our schedule so we could be home midday, Seahawk called three hours before the appointment. The gentlemen on the phone said he was only going to come out ?if he could make the sale today?. We explained that we were on the tail-end of a lease-to-buy agreement where the price of the home had already been negotiated and we were looking for three bids as the project would be starting shortly. He said he would bid the project but would charge $400 for his time. After reiterating that we were looking for three bids on the project and would not pay for the bids, he hung up the phone. We will gladly take our business elsewhere.

We have a company policy that we charge 395$ for bids on homes that aren't owned by the person requesting the bid. The reason for this is really simple, bids that are provided to people who are considering buying a place are most commonly used to negotiate a better price on the home. These types of bids almost never convert to work for us so we charge for them. Most people don't realize that a "Free Estimate" costs hundreds of dollars to a company. Our territory is from Olympia to Bellingham, and we get calls for these types of bids about a dozen times a day. We flat out cannot afford to provide bids for free for real estate transactions. I explained this on the phone and told you that the day you close on the house I would be more than happy to provide a free estimate.

This may be long winded, bear with me... This bid process is stressful and we talked to a lot of different contractors who all had different ideas and price ranges. By the time we talked to Seahawk we had already decided on James Hardie siding, vinyl windows, and 50 year roofing. At this point we were looking more for a company we could trust and a price we could live with. Seahawk was the first company of many to meet those requirements. It was a real bonus that we could have one company to do all the work. The roof went first and was done fast. They had the shingles we chose in stock so we didnt have to wait long. Only took 4 days. The windows took about a month to start. The glass Seahawk used is very efficient and cut down on road noise. They also made a big difference in curb appeal. We had silver metal windows before that condensated in the morning, they were gross. The last thing they did was our siding. which took nearly 3 weeks. We opted for the primed Hardie laps and it was a good choice. The price was a lot for us, nearly 80k, but that was mid range in the other quotes we had gotten. The choice to use Seahawk was based on the fact that we knew we were going to get the best quality with them. Would hire again.

Seahawk Remodeling was very professional throughout, and did a beautiful job. Ipe is difficult to work with, because the wood is so hard--each screw hole must be individually drilled. But they did it, and it came out great. Before beginning the job, Seahawk made sure that all city permits were in place, and after drilling the foundation holes for the support posts they had a city inspector come out to check them. The inspector did require some changes, which were made, and then another inspector came out and approved the final foundations. After the job was completed, a third inspector checked the construction and approved it. The job was completed in about two weeks, including demolishing the old deck and disposing of the debris in a responsible manner. Throughout the building process the workers were pleasant and friendly, and always willing to answer our questions and show us what they had done at each stage. They gave us good advice about washing and oiling the deck, which is our responsibility. Seahawk Remodeling did a fine job, and we're glad we hired them.

The customer service was excellent. They were very timely and responsive with my request for a bid. Cameron came to the house, inspected the deck and confirmed that the framing was in good shape. He did not try to oversell with a complete deck replacement. He provided all the options and prices and samples were available. We accepted the bid that day, and 6 days later the work began. Kevin was the installer, and he was absolutely fantastic. He asked some good questions for clarification and was obviously meticulous. He completed the job within seven days. Though I rated the company with a "B" (good) for pricing, this is an excellent example of you get what you pay for. If you want excellent and responsive service and good quality work, I highly recommend this company. It should be noted that I called two other companies for bids that had good ratings on AL, and neither returned my calls / e-mails...!

We just moved to the state and bought a beautiful home with two incredibly large decks. One could say the home was build specifically for the decks. There are two levels, both which run the length of the house, plus a rather large area with a giant hot tub sitting on it. There is also a large deck on the front of the house. Basically our decks have more square footage than most people's homes. About 2 weeks after purchasing and moving into our new house, my foot went through one of the boards on the upper deck. Needless to say paranoia set in and we called several companies to survey the damage and give us an estimate on fixing the deck. We know next to nothing about repairing/replacing a deck. We would have believed it if someone told us the decks were rotting away under our feet and we needed to replace them ASAP. This would be around 100k worth of work. Seahawk Remodeling was the first company to respond to us. Cameron called us to let us know where he was and that he might be a bit late. Wasn't a problem at all since he called. We looked around the house at all of the decks and basically told us the decks were fine. Sadly my foot found a weak board, but for the most part, our decks did not need replacing nor did they need a major overhaul. He suggested we find a handy man or do the work ourselves. Considering the amount of money they could have made from replacing or even just "redecking" our existing decks (possibly around 50K), the level of honestly and professionalism shown by Cameron was just outstanding. When we do replace our deck some day, we will be calling Cameron at Seahawk Remodeling. We appreciated his honesty and professionalism!

After putting a lot of thought into painting the home or doing a complete siding project or just painting the house I decided. I decided I should have a professional come out and give me their opinion. Nicholas from Seahawk Remodeling come out that very next morning and explained to me the advantages of doing the siding now vs. spending money to paint the home and have to spend even more money a couple years down the road on doing a siding project. I felt it was definitely the right time to start the project since it was the summer time. Nick sat me down after meaning up the home and showed me the pricing list with all the different option we could use to make my house shine! We decided to use the cement siding but add a nice stone accent to the lower front of the house. This was Nicks idea and frankly something I would have never thought of but something that always catch my eye when driving by newer homes. At this point I was so excited to get started. Nick told me they were booked out about 4 weeks and showed me what my home would cost to do the whole house as we discussed. After discussing the payment options and angles list special the price was $42,250 plus tax. After signing the contracts Seahawk Remodeling started the project about 3 weeks afterwards so one week ahead of schedule they started the work. The project for my home took about 2 1/2 weeks. We were extremely impressed with the customer service and the quality of work that this company did. We will have more work to do in the future and Seahawk Remodeling will definitely be the first call we make.

We did not hire Seahawk simply because one other provider beat them on the call back by a couple hours and were able to send a guy out immediately. This was a very small time and materials roof repair due to damage done to roof by satteleite t.v. company. It was not a job that warranted competitive bids, we just went with the first to respond. We will consider Seahawk for future jobs based on the prompt response and professionalism.

Over I am satisfied with Seahawk Remodeling. I found them here on Angie's List. Based on reviews I felt good about going with them. Like others described two young guys Nick and Cameron met me. Based on the reviews I made my initial payment and set start and end dates. As the start date approached I was concerned for lack of communication from them. They barely made the start date but finished early. They want to improve on their communication, esp. with first time customers. Subcontractor they hired was good to work with. Construction quality was good. I'd do business with them again.

The first appointment was more than I'd expected. The estimator priced out lots of options and we were mostly intrigued by the wooden decks and wooden windows. We had predicted that we would go with tight knot cedar but once we saw pictures of the clear cedar we were sold. The windows we decided fiberglass on the outside and wood on the inside. The gave us some really good incentives and we were happy with the price for what we got.

All in all was fine. Took a while for initial contact person to come out and get it done. He was suppose to contact me with time but never did. He eventually showed up and did the inspection, so it did get done in time for my insurance deadline. May or may not use again as experience wasn't stellar nor was it particularly bad. Estimate on what a new roof would cost was pretty high.
