Description of Work: All they did was evaluate how their company would remodel my porch. The prices were too high and was not interested in any follow up.

Description of Work: Paid $49 for a "quote" for a Trex composite deck. Quoted $27,390 for a 390 square foot deck with NO railings ($70 per Sq Ft). Phoned the next day and they dropped the price to $23,000. For $49 we were supposed to receive a "Custom deck design with measurements and plans". We received nothing! I feel pretty ripped off. Poor show Angie, seems like false advertising to me!! Needless to say we did not proceed with the job - too expensive.

Description of Work: I called Nick about needing a deck on Guemes Island. He answered at 8 PM! Gave me tons of good information on the phone to get me started. He provided what I need at this stage; websites, typical prices per square foot, etc.

Description of Work: I bought a hot deal that said they would draw a deck plan. They sent someone out to try to sell me a deck. After looking at the area and showing me all the types of wood, telling me an estimate of cost, I asked about the plan that was supposed to be drawn up. He told me they only do that if I hire them to do the job. That is not at all what the coupon said. He told me to contact Angies List and ask for my money back. The service he provided should have been free. I certainly didn |t need to pay $49.00 for a sales job. I never intended to buy a deck this year. I wanted to have the plan drawn up for the future which is why I paid the money for the coupon.

Description of Work: Provided and replaced 7 windows in our 20+ yr old home. Measurements were precise and windows arrived about 3 weeks later. Two workers did the installation in about 5 hrs. Great job, very professional and helpful with rehanging inside blinds for us. |

Description of Work: We were looking for someone to give us ideas on a deck/patio solution that included plans so that we could build ourselves as our time and budget allowed. |Nick did spend time with us sharing different ideas, some we hadn't considered. We did not, however. come away with an actual deck plan like we hoped but do have a direction to move toward for now. Actual plans turned out to not be necessary for the upgrade we are planning so all turned out fine :) Nick is a personable guy with honest input. We would recommend Seahawks Redmodeling in the future.

Description of Work: Provider claimed to know the exact Sq footage of our roof by relying on a satellite photo. His Sq footage number was around 1200 Sq ft higher than to previous estimates who actually walked the roof.

Description of Work: They called and set an appointment to come out. They were accountable and came right on time. I was really surprised at how high the bid was for the labor, I already have the material. I have had several other bids and this was as much as 4 times as high. I am sure they would have done a great job but it is not affordable.

Description of Work: We bought the Big Deal looking for concrete demo only. We called them and they said that they could do just the demo and not a new patio as well. When the estimator came to our house, he was not aware of what he was estimating (he thought Windows). He was a nice guy and we told him that we only wanted demo and he said that they couldn't do only demo that the deal was for demo and then a new patio or concrete. We also asked for a quote on a new fence. We did get an email back stating that they would not do a demo only. So, we told them that we would most likely ask for our money back on the Big Deal. We then got an email stating that they could do the demo only but they would quote us for the additional square footage, which was expected. We never got a quote of the additional work or for the fence. So, we thought it best just to go with a another company who could help us. I have nothing negative to say about their work - it just didn't work out.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal for 100sq ft of concrete work. Unfortunately they couldn't do part of the work due to a hill requiring an expensive pumper truck, and declined to do the remainder because it was too small of a job for them.

Description of Work: I called Seahawk and made an appointment to get an estimate for the work. They came to the house and did a great job going over what it would take to replace my old deck. Nick was very nice and on time. How ever after getting the estimate my wife and I felt it was just to high. They seem to be a very good company.

Description of Work: I recently bought two big deals on Angie's list to do a deck for my father. The owner came out to do a bid, he gave me a verbal of $8000 and when i asked in writing he gave me a quote via email $9000 but he said there is a discount of $1000, total came down to $ 8000. I told him i had bought a big deal from Angie's list for $350 toward $1000 off, he said it was included in the bid. But he said my father would be able to get a 10% discount for seniors. The bill came down to $7200 but I said i have two off those big deals. Now he told me he won't honor the senior discount. The total came down to $7000. It's very obvious, the company is very dishonest, i would like to get my refund back as the owner is unable to honor his discount. I've attached an email of our conversations. Please confirm.

Description of Work: Nick, from Seahawk Remodeling came to give us an estimate to replace carpeting with hardwood flooring. Unfortunately, our requirements drove the price higher than anticipated so we declined the offer. Nick was very courteous and did everything he could to help us but we grossly underestimated what it may cost.

Description of Work: Well it went something like this,.... I called the service provider and made a appointment to have them come out to our home and talk about the projects that we needed to have done. they were on time for our appointment, and then I explained what we had in mind for them to do. Cameron Hanke the sales person said the they should be able to help us out with the projects that we have and that he would send me a bid for the work via. e-mail to me in a couple of days. When the bid showed up I was flabergasted by how high the bid was for (the work that we wanted them to do for us was to replace approximatley 60 feet of deck railing that we needed to have replaced because of some rot problems that was going on and to replace a couple of Facia boards the had come off of our dock) The bid that they had sent to us was for $12,649.00. When I had sent Cameron an e-mail meassge asking them to change the work that we wanted them to do at our house to something that would be more inline with the $2000.00 that I had purchased from one of your Big Deal,... Deals. That is when he replyed with an e-mail message back to me stating that he didn't think that there was anything that their company was going to be able to do for us, that I should go back onto Angies List and just pay for a handy man to do the work for us and that I should get ahold of somebody from Angies List and request a refund of my money that I spent buying the two Big Deals (that I paid $350 each) So that Is what I am doing I'm requesting that Angies List refund me the $700.00 that I had paid for services that we're never rendered.
