The weather was challenging (late fall) but I must say, the installers came all the time it was possible and they worked very hard. My roof was a 3-layer tear off, and due to where I live, they had to throw it on the ground and pick it up to carry it to the street-side dumpster. Nary a complaint. I can't speak highly enough of my entire experience with Polar Bear! They were really great.

The team from Polar Bear arrived on time and sealed all areas necessary. They also provided advice on removing the foam guards I installed in the gutters because it was weighing down the gutters and stressing the seams. I enjoyed my experience working with Polar Bear and would recommend them.

Excellent work. Lucky is a nice guy and ensured job was completed to my satisfaction, even though I'm high maintenance. Much appreciated.

All went exceptionally well. Job was scheduled for 2 days (Thu/Fri) but was stretched to three (Mon) due to some unexpected snags. Only problem was with glass in french door. Had ordered obscured glass, but delivered door had clear glass. Workers noticed it was wrong before I mentioned it (I was on site throughout the install) and steps have already been taken to schedule replacement with the correct glass (door was installed -- glass can be swapped out in place). There were quite a few guys on site so I asked the lead (Mark Lake) about his crew so I could give them all props: Mark Lake (lead) Aaron McGuire Mike Babos Carl Johnson Matt Scott Great work guys!

They haven't done the work yet. I initially went on line and gave three dates that would be convenient to me. They didn't reply or show up. I chased them down and they said they didn't have any paperwork. We scheduled another date. They didn't show. When I called them they said there was a big wreck downtown that somehow affected them. They said they didn't have my phone number so couldn't call. They said they could schedule the work in about a month. That comes up this week. I don't really expect them to follow through. So far it is thumbs down.

They were fine. We didn't have them to do the work. We only received a consultation. Which was free. The consultation was for roofing repair. They were on time, professional and they were able to properly explain what they were going to have to do and also answer any questions I had.

I found Polar Bear (Lucky & Jason) to be exceptional in all ways. They were running a bit late (due to traffic) and they called me to let me know - this was very welcome as I've had other service providers run late and never even acknowledge it, let alone give me a "heads up." When they arrived they were very professional and friendly -- another plus, really very personable. But the best ever -- they were thorough in their work and diagnosed my problem ( a gutter drip issue) very quickly - the fixed it! The "icing on the cake"- Lucky gave me lots of good advice and never once tried to "upsell" me for something I didn't need! I would hire them again in two seconds for any work I needed that Polar Bear performs!

They did a great job and mom would hire them again. Only issues was a torn screen, some paint scrape on the deck and back door. Cleanup could have been a little better, but once again, the job they did was A++. They know Hardie Plank siding and are trained by Hardie so they know the product better than anyone else in the PNW. They are who Hardie calls when they need warranty repair work done.

Had to follow-up with them a couple times to get it scheduled. Two guys came out with only one doing work and the other doing inspections and stayed for a total of 2hrs. I pointed out several gutter straps and siding issues, they repaired 1 gutter strap and put some white putty on the siding that washed off immediately in the rain. They didn't repair the 2 other gutter straps that I pointed out. They did do an inspection of the roof only to tell me that it was fine. I was concerned that leaks in the WIndows may be causing my siding problems and they looked, but couldn't tell me for sure until they removed them at $100/hr + materials. They said they would follow-up with an estimate, but I could tell that there was little interest in my job due to the relatively small size. Its been over 3 weeks and I've pinged them several times and no response. I will avoid them and these type of Angie's list offers in the future as it appeared that their only goal was to generate future business. Their work was substandard and I still need to figure out what is going on with my Windows.

Install was great, window cleaning was horrible - new windows and very smeared. Didn't leave a good impression when they said "done". Also 9 windows of 27 were flawed and have to be replaced (chips, fingerprints between panes, debris between panes, and scratches).

We (my wife and I) first met Casey Smith, who measured the job and talked over options with us. Some reviewers on Angie's List saw Casey as a bit too talkative and perhaps too glib. We found him to be very professional and personal. He was not afraid to talk about his own experiences, which revealed a man who was solidly dedicated to quality in the products and services he was connected to. We got all the details we needed from Casey - who was fully informed on everything about the roofs that Polar Bear installs. We were able to pay cash (which may have speeded things up), but we were still impressed with the response time. We signed on with Casey on December 13, and the job was done by December 23rd - despite it being late fall and dodging rain storms. The crew seemed highly competent; and they were very effective. They did a good job of cleaning up as well - despite the rain. We are now convinced that we have an excellent roof (with a written 50 year Certainteed warranty - and moss protection built in to the shingle) and a company who backs up their work. We may have paid somewhat more for our new roof than one we may have gotten from another company, but we are convinced that we got the guaranteed quality we were looking for - quality and assurance that we would not have gotten from other available providers.

Excellent - easy to work with fellows! Would hire again!

It DID NOT. No one showed up to look at what needed to done or make any repair(s).

Arrived on time as promised, completed work as promised quickly & professionally. Provided through explanation what he was going to do and why and results of inspection.

Originally, I felt like the deal this company provided was really just a marketing sales call and sort of a bait and switch, but after the roofing technician left, the Owner of Polar Bear Energy Solution called me to see if I was satisfied with the service. I explained that actually no repair occurred but instead just a recommendation to replace the work was provided instead. The owner backed his work and reputation and offered a refund or the $199.00 for the repair visit since no repair actually occurred and hoped that we would use them for the replacement if it worked out. This is a company with a great desire to make things right. They stand by their work and their reputation. The owner called me multiple times to assure that we were in a good position. This is a stand up company who truly cares about their clients satisfaction.

Their schedule was so full that I had to wait almost 2 months before anyone would come-out. What I thought were loose pieces of chimney flashing turned-out to be just extra pieces the original roofers left behind. Seems that when most people call with the same 'problem', most of the time it is leftover metal pieces left by the roofer.

Company met go their scheduler so appt times got messed up. Once they showed up. It went well. My roof ordinary need a lot of maintenance. But they were professional.

These guys were very pleasant, professional and punctual. They carried out a full inspection with pictures to show me the results. They did not need to perform more than touch-up maintenance, for which they did not charge me. If i need further services or a new roof, I would definitely contact them. Also, because they did not charge me for the minor work they did, Angies refunded my sale fee in full. Give them a call first.

Good----very honest. Could have charged us but, did not as work could not be done.

Initial appointment had to be cancelled due to the technician tied up with previous appointment. I can understand that. He did not rush to finish one job so he can make to next appointment. For the 2nd appointment he showed up in time. But he was not able to finish the job at first time since he did not have the right ladder. He promised to come back and finish the job. However, he did let that slip and I had to call him up after 2 weeks to remind him to finish the job. After I got it touch with him he did respond quickly.

It was a very good presentation. I got a detailed but understandable explanation of the technology and installation. I also have estimates for all the costs and benefits. I even got a followup of an additional estimate for an alternate installation I wanted to know about. It was well worth the investment.

Polar Bear did a great job! The job was not an easy one and it was not during an exceptionally dry time of the year. They stayed on task and seemed to take great pride in making sure that all of our questions and requests were addressed and accommodated. We met several members of their staff during the course of the project and each one of them were very easy to work with and had great customer relation skills. I was very impressed with the way that they cleaned up our jobsite at the end of each day. That was very important to us as we have small children around. They were very detail oriented and really had the "do what the customer wants" mentality which is sometimes a rare thing when it comes to contractors. We feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with this company and would highly recommend them!
