We couldn't be happier with this company. Once we decided to side the house and the product we wanted this company was great to work with. Our sales associate Eric, was kind, patient and knowledgeable. The company communicated with us letting us know when our project would start and how long it was expected to take. It was a big project. Our siding crew was outstanding. Doug and Sam were efficient and conscientious. They didn't just "slap" it up there. We ran into a couple of problems during the project and they found a way to resolve them with a minimum of inconvenience to us. The company is very fortunate to have them as employees. Our deck crew of Josh and Zack were also very efficient and did a great job. This company really pays attention to detail. Our house is now well insulated, looks brand new and has increased in value. We would be happy to recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Sales support - friendly solicitor. Nice young man who was well mannered and considerate. Technical support - Tucker was friendly and supportive. Took the time to explore various options with me. Gave very good advise on trim selections, colors, positioning, and tint options. Explained various finance options also (that was very helpful). Tried to understand what I was trying to do and help achieve the objective. Project management - could have been better in that the job start was scheduled before the product that was ordered was inspected. I received a call that the job was on a certain date but was called a few days later to cancel because there was a flaw in the product that was to be installed. I think they should have inspected the product before scheduling it to be installed. The project manager did respond to my schedule concerns and tried hard to meet it. Crew - very well behaved men. Didn't use inappropriate language and stayed on task. Worked hard to get finished. Did a good job. Outcome - we really like the end result. It has improved the curb appeal of the house but even more, the inside appeal and openness that was created.

Sales pitch lasted over an hour. Price came down as sales pitch went on. Final estimate for one widow was $200.00 higher than I will be paying for two windows installed - same brand and model! Was promised an estimate via e-mail within two days and an still waiting - salesman was here over a month ago!

It was excellent! There were 4 people who installed the windows. Matt Luke, Carl Johason, Aqrron Mcyyire, and Mike Babos were an outstanding crew. They might have actually even saved our lives as they were smelling natural gas. We determined our furnace was leaking and emitting a lot of carbon monoxide. We got the gas company out right away to shut it off.

Doug, Sam, and DJ were very professional, once they arrived on site. They explained the process as they worked, asked for our opinions and preferences when a choice needed to be made. Although one was the Lead Person, each member of the crew was equally responsive & communicative. It was clear that they all brought a special talent and skill set to the Team, to produce a quality finish to the job.

Any questions I had they answered. When they found what was underneath and it was going to cost 4600 more, they had to get my approval. So I went up on the ladder and looked and it was terrible It was press board. Press board is illegal you are not even supposed to use that so of course I agreed to that. I would recommend them to anyone.

They finished about two weeks ago. It is the nicest roof. It ended up costing more because when they got the 2 layers of old roofing off, it should have been plywood underneath. But, whoever did the job years ago and they put what looked like plywood under there but when they started tearing it up it was something different. It was all crumbly and it took them 2 days just to get that off. But they put all new plywood on. They did a great job. It was strange but a guy came to the door. He was a young man and very neatly dressed. While he waited I called the BBB to see if they were a legal company and they gave them very high marks. They had to order the shingle. I didn't get the most expensive I got about the middle. You know when you have to replace your roof that is a major expense. I got a warranty that when I move it stays with the house. So when new people move in and there is a problem they can come to Polar Bear with it and this written warranty says that this follows the house. I verified with people that the price was not too high. And, the quality of it, it looks so nice.

It went very good. They were excellent. They did a good job. They were very friendly. They cleaned up after they were finished.

The siding installers, Doug and Sam, and the window installers, Aaron and Mike, did exceptional jobs. Scheduling from the home office was chaotic and resulted in the siding being installed before the windows. This required a full day of rework to the trim, calking, and finishing to work out errors.

Josh and crew were very good at their job. They knew what to do and how to do it to produce a quality product. I love my new deck.

Exceptional service from salesman to each crew/team worked with.

The estimator showed up 15 minutes early. He demanded several times during our discussion of what we wanted to see the other bids. We said no just as many. The bid he left was a one page hand written almost unreadable scrawl. Not what I expected after great commercials on 97.3 FM. After I commented on Polar Bear's contact us option I did get two phone calls from people claiming to be managers. at that point there is nothing Polar Bear could do because of the bad estimator. The company we went with came out inspected the roof explained all the work to be done. then they sent a detailed quote package. They came out again to sign our deal the representative took an hour to discuss color styles gutters and to educate me in all things roof. We would never consider Polar Bear for any service they offer/

All the crew were professional and very respectful of us still needing to be there while they installed.

I thought the inspect went very well. Eric taught me a lot about our siding, and it's condition. Half way through the inspection, I mentioned that our roof was getting old too, and he got out his ladder and checked the roof too -- for no extra charge. He even looked in both attics to check the underside of the decking. No corner-cutting for this company.

Polar Bear employees were pleasant to work with however, from the initial contact through completion they claimed that they didn't provide the service described in the Angie's list deal but they would attempt to help us out. Polar Bear expressed that Angie's list wrote the description. The deal described everything I was looking for to get my gutters to work properly...Sealing of gutter end caps Sealing gutter miters (if applicable) Sealing gutter drop outlets Tightening of gutters using existing hangers/nails/screws Tightening of downspouts using existing brackets/clips Testing gutter slope for proper water flow Caulking/sealing minor holes/cracks/splits/dents Repair of damaged gutter using zip screws and caulk/sealant Full attic, roof, gutter and exterior inspection with photos Visual inspection of run-off and ground drainage. However, Polar Bear said they couldn't do any of that unless the gutters were professionally cleaned first. None of the above testing, inspection, tightening occurred and only one corner was sealed. Polar Bear made it sound like they were contracted to perform a siding tune up (which we don't need) but the description above is clearly for gutters.

They were phenomenal. There were a few things we had questions about and weren't happy with but they said no problem and took care of it. They followed through with everything we asked. Their prices are high but the quality of their work. They do very quality work.

Came out and reviewed siding. Spoke of replacement options and even spoke of options I could do that they don't offer. They asked for the business but did not try to pressure me into buying as I wasn't ready and was mainly looking for more information.

We asked for Polar Bear Energy Solutions to do some touch up work. I knew I had an area that needed more than a touch up. I paid for them to come and to do the touch up work expecting them to say I needed more than touch up. But what I wasn't expecting was for them to say No Charge for this visit. They stated they will get someone to come and give you an estimate on the work needed and refund my initial expense. Thank you for being honest and fair. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have mixed feelings about them. I like the same guy who came, he's been very responsive, but some of their workers are not. We had a lot of work done by them, but it was not altogether, definitely not an "A" and I don't feel delighted with everything they touched. When I call them again, I will definitely get a bid from them in the Summer. I would be a little bit more careful.

Lucky and Corry showed up on time; were clean and neat and courteous. Listened to my concerns and gave me a thorough report and recommendations. They fixed my roof damage problem.

Really well done, no problems since

All done in 4 hours....the day after the decision was made. The crew arrived early and went to work immediately. There were about seven men at work. I am very pleased with the result, it took a lot less time than anticipated. I had been told that my roofing would be completed over a period of time, so I was pleasantly surprised that the roof was completed in a morning. It has been finished with "Northgate" tiles for this area of Washington, which is subject to unusual weather; we live in a convergence zone.
