Eastside Holiday Lights

Santas Sidekicks has been installing Christmas lights on my mom's house for the last 3-4 years. They are always perfectly installed and bring so much joy to my mom. She didn't have lights on the house for several years since my dad passed away and we didn't have anyone to hang them for us. The first year I hired them, they installed the lights during the day while my mom was at work, and she came home to a beautifully lit home. She was so happy she laughed and cried at the same time. They offer great customer service, and I will continue to hire them every year.

We have been using Eastside Holiday Lights for some years now and we have had a great experience. Steve and team have been most gracious to come back a second time to fix light bulbs or do any more changes in lighting free of charge. Overall it has been a great experience.

What a huge disappointment it was working with this company. Attempted to schedule holiday light installation and moss removal but after multiple emails and phone calls the day of service arrived. I asked that the company bring extra lights in case I wanted more added. They didn't even have enough for the basic holiday light install, the tech had NO CLUE about the moss removal, and the kicker was his response. PLEASE CALL THE COMPANY AND SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. Yes and that is what I'm going to do with another company. I'm not going to waste my time anymore, let alone use this company year after year to have lights put up.

Chris does a good job putting up and taking down my Christmas lights (this is our second year). He uses good quality materials and guarantees his work. Initial cost of service was pretty high, approximately $800 for a 1300 foot house, because- you buy all the lights up front from him but he then replaces anything that breaks from year to year. You need to be pretty flexible with installation/take down as he works on his own schedule to maximize his time.

He was quick and they look amazing. He also explained ways to manage cost and gave me options which I like. Not all options were in their favor which immediately built trust with me.

Excellent. Because it is nearing the end of the light installation season, there were a limited number of lights to be purchased and Mike was not able to install lights on the entire house. But next year we will complete outlining the entire house. This company did their absolute BEST!

It was okay. They're a good company but their pricing is a little bit higher than their competitors for that stuff.

It went great! Chris came quickly after we requested service (even though it was mid December). It turned out exactly as I had expected.

Chris has been taking care of our windows and gutters year round and we did not know he did Holiday lights as well. I have never met someone that works so hard with such a great attitude. He is extremely efficient, friendly, and fair on cost. I have never had my holiday lights look so straight and amazing and to be set on a timer so I don't need to worry about them, brilliant. One less thing I have to worry about over the Holidays. Each year we add a little more and he is very accommodating with all our requests. Would recommend again and again.

normally we use a neighborhood service. This year it was hard to get hold of them and they charge a lot. I called East side lighting to pull the lights down and they came over and did it. The service was great. They were neat--I did not find a bunch of hangers all over like I did with the guys that put lights up. We have now scedhuled with them put up and take down lights for this year.

Chris met the set date for set up and take down of the lights. THe house looked nice but it seemed kind of expensive for jsut the front face of the house to have lights. I will use him again jsut budget more money for the entire house to have lights on it.

Great service! The price was fair and the lights on the house looked fantastic. We will definitely use them again next year!

Chris did an outstanding job! Showed up on time, actually a little early, reviewed what we had ordered and got right to work. We could not have been happier with the service and quality of the work.

A short delay in replacing a non-working string of lights, but overall good service.

Very good service. He showed up and installed the lights without any issues. One blub was missing after a few days and he came and fixed it, even without me reporting it.

Chris is a great business owner and does a great job to satisfy the customer. he came to our home on short notice and did a wonderful job.

Chris performed the tasks he was paid for. There were a few problems. First; I had some lights I wanted hung in my backyard. Chris very clearly gave the impression that he was in hurry and really didn't want to hang those lights in the backyard. I don't blame him...he showed up at my house at 7:30pm and by then it was dark and pretty darn cold. Chris put lights in the most basic of areas on my house which I guess was fine, and he did a good job. It's just that I thought he would be a little more creative and with the lights we had and maybe even provide suggestions. Chris seemed pretty content to simply hang the lights across the roof line in the front of my house and around my garage doors, nothing special. I felt for The money I should have received a little more willingness to hang the additional lights I had. We had several bulbs burn out after the lights were hung..Chris came and fixed these but wasn't happy about it. He informed us that there was usually a charge for this. Chris also cleaned our gutters. Unfortunately a down spout was backed up. After Chris left the gutters were as full as could be. Again; Chris came and fixed the issue but wasn't real happy about it. I was left with the feeling that the whole operation was an inconvenience to Chris. I also think the price was a little bit too high for the service. I will look elsewhere next year.

Charged $75 for a little less than an hour of removing holiday lights and putting them into bins. He was supposed to come a day earlier and did not show up. An email to let me know this would have been nice. I emailed asking what time he would show up and did not receive anything until later that night. Anyway he came the next day and removed the holiday lighting. He kind of left quite of few of the light hooks that hold the lights on to the rain gutters around the property. Would have been nice if he would have picked those up. Still a good service for the money and he worked very quickly. Will use him again in the future.

It was great to work with Chris. We had never decorated our house with lights before so I had an idea of what I wanted but did not know specifics or how to begin. Chris suggested a type of lights based on my vague thoughts and we agreed to a plan over email. Unfortunately I was not able to be home at the time we agreed on but that didn't matter. I came home to a festive house ready for the holidays. I literally didn't have to lift a finger as the lights were plugged into a timer and ready to go! Excellent service - no question I'll be using him again next year.
