The man arrived on time and went over what he would do. He suited up and did the inspection. After reporting on the results which included a couple of recommendations not included in the current schedule of work, he completed the screening. There was no pressure to add additional work, but a bid good for 30 days for suggested additional work was left. The workman was clean and professional.

They could not get out till June 2nd. I needed someone sooner than that. It took a long time for them to return my phone calls, I had to call multiple times. They would never call me back. The only time I spoke with them is when I would call in. I found someone else.

Quoted $1100 for work. I am not willing to pay this much. I did not get any service just a look at the crawlspace and an estimate for work. My crawlspace is 790 sq ft and deal is for 500 sq feet. They have 800 sq ft on the estimate. They do specify what they are going to do for the $1100, however I did not want to spend that much.

I ended up not getting the Big Deal done, but this company was very pleasant and cooperative to interact with.

The inspection went well, however, they were out of price range for the follow up work that they recommended.

THE PROBLEM IS WHEN YOU BUY A SERVICE FROM ANGIE'S LIST THERE IS ALWAYS A HITCH. WHEN I PURCHASED THIS ITEM, I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE THE VAPOR BARRIER. THE TOOK A LOOK UNDER THE HOUSE AND GAVE ME A BID THAT WAS CONSIDERABLY HIGHER. WHEN YOU OFFER AN ITEM, YOU SHOULD BE MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT WHAT IT COVERS. I DON'T LIKE SUPRISES AND I AM RELUCTANT TO PURCHASE OTHER SERVICES FROM ANGIE'S LIST. JOHN PRESTON

Contacted Croach/Pest Free --they arrived within a couple of days--were very professional and polite. Inspected our property thoroughly and listened to our concerns about our pets, explained what was happening, why, and where, then suggested safe treatments. A very polite and clean-cut tech set traps and sealed possible entry points. He called ahead when scheduled to check and reload traps, but meanwhile we also noticed that the mice and insects were gone. What a relief-- so worth it to have a maintenance contract with them. Until having their pest control system , we never realized the peace of mind that it would provide. Overall, we have been pleased with the service and people at Croach.

I asked them to deactivate my account while we had our baby, a couple of months later, we thought we had a rat problem. They came out for a service call to see what the actual issue was and we had no rat problem, they said that by merely having them come look at it that it meant that I wanted a pesticide spray 6 months later. It makes no sense. I never asked them for this service. When they sprayed, my windows were open and now the pesticide is in my home, in my baby's room. I asked to be reconciled for this error on their behalf. They blamed me, they still blame me because I called them to look for a rat. There still has been no solution. They're saying that "people like me are taking advantage of them because they are a big company."

Very friendly and knowledgeable service agents who explained what they could and couldn't spray (no bees). They sprayed all the old wasp nests and even went above and beyond duty and knocked down spider webs for me. I would definitely call them again if I have any insect problems.

It went just fine! They arrived promptly and did a good job in a reasonable amount of time.

The 2 guys that came out to do the job, got here at the promised time, worked hard for about 6 hours, cleaning, cutting new plastic and getting everything together, hauled away all the stuff, very easy to talk to when I asked questions. It was not an easy job for sure and I felt like they did a great job for us. I felt that I didn't "overpay" and job well done. Thank you!

There was extra cost for additional square footage. It went well.

They arrived on time, were very polite and efficient. The job took about 90 minutes.

I checked in with my renters who said the PestFree employees would constantly miss appointments and need to reschedule. One of my tenants even told me that they would come out and sit outside the house. Oftentimes, they would just drive away without doing anything. The backyard has a locked gate and they wouldn't be able to enter without the tenant letting them. I called them to say that the technicians were not doing the job outlined by the contract that we signed. I spoke with someone who said that they would have someone come out and do a thorough inspection. I received an invoice noting that there was water in the crawlspace. I contacted a plumber who said that it has been leaking for more than a year. These PestFree technicians were supposed to go in the crawlspace to put traps for mice, rats and spiders. The water leak should have been detected if they were doing their regular follow-ups appropriately. It has caused a massive amount of damage on top of the rats. The insulation was also all torn up by rats. Derrick, a technician, came out and said that he couldn't even stick up for the company because of the poor quality of work. All of this started happening in September. They came out and cleaned up the insulation and built a door for the crawlspace, free of charge. After that, they said I needed to pay for their services. I already paid for the services due to the contract that I signed with them. Another inspector came out to see where the rats were coming in. The new guy they sent out, Herb, also said that the work was done incorrectly. They should have put in cement to block off the openings. This is now two inspectors that said the work was done incorrectly and that it should have been taken care of in 2007. The owner said that he would offer me $50 off, but that I still needed to pay for any work I needed done despite the fact that it is in our contract. I paid for services that were rendered incorrectly and inappropriately and the owner refuses to honor the contract. I have been trying to contact the owner to no avail. It seems like he is trying to avoid me because he has "left for vacation" twice. Just because you are paying for it, apparently does not mean that PestFree does the work. The inspectors agree that the company was wrong. PestFree is not an honest and reputable company.

The company advised good enough installation. Deal is not needed. They were very helpful and would call them again in the future but the deal isn't needed at this time.

The service was ok. It could have been better for the price and I would have appreciated better quality of work.

The representative came out and there is a crawl space under my town house. He looked under my crawl space and determined that I didn't need any insulation. He didn’t charge me and saved me a lot of money. He was very honest, which I appreciated.

Provider did what was scheduled at the time...re-bait traps, etc
