CENTENNIAL GLASS CO

Centennial glass installed a large single picture window at my home in 2022. A crack occurred in the window pane from top to bottom. I called Centennial and expected a warranty fix. Centennial told me that I was the one that cracked the window and so no warranty. And here's a replacement bid for about 3800 dollars. I insisted that I did nothing that broke that widow. My insurance company agreed as well as two different window companies that I had come out to bid on the fix (that Centennial should have covered). Both told me that Centennial should have used tempered glass for the location and the nature of the crack (top to bottom) was not caused by impact. When I accepted one of the bids and the broken window was removed the new company showed me that the window was cracked because the bottom was resting on a small metal screw and the window settled on it and caused the crack. I provided Centennial all the proof I had via the BBB. And got no response. Do not use them.

Last minute call to them, they arrived within 1 hour. Had the mirror down in about 30 minutes. Cleaned up and hauled away all debris.

Centennial Glass Company was timely on initial meeting to determine our needs. Reese returned when scheduled and installed 4 panels of glass, without having to do any touch up with surrounds. Also, cleaned up after instillation. Polite and professional. Terry, in the office, took payment and set up appointments making certain our time frame was met. They could not have been more professional or efficient.

Cleaned track and drains. Caulked screw heads and crack in the bottom. Reassembled. Bryce removed the sliding windows and the cover of the bottom track. Found crack in the bottom of the frame, dirt, & partially obstructed drains. In one case the end of the track cover had been caulked preventing the water from draining. Did three large windows. On time, proficient work. I will hire him to do maintenance on all windows in the 17 year old building.
