They were the highest bid out of six different companies. The representative that came over was trying to sell all kinds of things to me, he was pushy and making a lot of absurd suggestions. He was rushing me into signing the contract, he would say that I had to hurry in order to get a certain discount. Maybe it was just him, he spent at least 3 hours at my house until I finally kicked him out. The only good thing was that he was punctual, everything else I did not like at all.

Had yearly maintenance performed last week. All seems OK except they said there is a small crack in the heat exchanger and they asked $2500 for repairs. According to them the 20 year extended parts warranty from manufacture does not cover this and even if it is covered I need to pay 100% because according to the technician Carrier warranty department gone bankrupt and they are not paying any claims. I also had previous owner transfer his 10 year parts and labor extended warranty to me last year. We even had a work done under this warranty but Bel-Red now claims it is not transferred to me yet. Last year the previous owner called them and they told me all is transferred to me and the warranty paid the repairs at that time. I called Carrier today and according to them the extended warranty covers both parts and labor and the 20 year covers only the parts but still there is coverage. They said the claims for bankruptcy are not correct. They also need Bel-Red to call and transfer the 10 year warranty to my name to use it. Bel-red was supposed to do this last year and that is what they said was already done a year ago. Currently they refuse to owner the extended 10 year parts/labor warranty as well as the 20 year parts warranty. What I would like from them is to transfer the warranty from previous owner as this was supposed to be done last year already since there is a claim filed and fulfilled at the time I owned the home. I'm inclined to work with another dealer in the future if this is not resolved.

They did a good job. They gave us discount for being an Angie's List member. They had a good price. I would use them in the future.

My furnace was blocked. I needed to know why there was no hot air coming out. They fixed it for me. I spent around $5600 on the job. The job went very well. The guy was very honest. He worked well with me. It took him one day to replace my furnace. The quality of his work was good. He was very responsive. I will hire him back again in the future.

We have a yearly maintenance program with them. They show up when they say that they are going to show up. It takes about an hour for them to inspect, clean parts and clean filters in the furnace. They also point out what the overall condition of the furnace is and if any parts are wearing.

A very complete estimate of costs was made including home heat loss, HP sizing criteria and compatibility with existing duct work. Consultant answered my questions and responded quickly with an estimate given on site the same day of his evaluation. He also provided a number of suggestions to improve home energy efficiency that were helpful as the house is 70 years old. Removal and installation took place on one day during Christmas week. The job was completed faster than planned as a second 2 person crew was also available. The two crews worked together very efficiently. The installers answered my questions and cleaned up the area thoroughly after installation. A minor inconvience was that a week was required between initial heating installation and final turnup of the Heat pump. This was due to the short holiday week and multiple Seattle City inspections and not really a vendor issue. Bel-Red's prices were comparable to other vendor bids using top of the line HP's. Overall, the conversion when very well and I would not hesitate to recommend Bel-Red to others.

Had an estimate for a replacement heat pump. The rep was very thorough on assessing the needs of my home and providing a prompt estimate. Will probably go with them for replacement.

They were excellent and very professional. They did what exactly they said they would do. The insulation was great and very neat. They cleaned up after themselves and I was happy with their work.

Everything went fine and they did a nice job of cleaning out the furnace and servicing it. They changed the filter and did not try to up sell us. They were also on time.

They were great about returning my calls and answering my questions. They were a little pricey, but a relative recommended them to me and I would also recommend them to others.

Fairly well. Workers were on time, neat, and pleasant. The A/C equipment was only recently taken on as a line by this company, resulting in some glitches due to inadequate training of staff. The installers neglected to install the heat pump earthquake proofing, and the electrical work was done by a sub-contractor, Overlake Electric of Bellevue. Evidently there was inadequate communication between the crews, for the electrician ran 2 red wires from the panel to the outside installation, one for each indoor unit, without identifying which wire was for which unit. This resulted in the upstairs unit icing up while I was trying to cool the downstairs! The tech ( who had superficially checked the work on Friday) returned Monday am and solved the problem after 2 hours of exploration. All workers were easy to work with, prompt in response, and helpful insofar as their minimal acquaintance with the product permitted.

When I called they were able to come out the next day, although with a 5 hour window. They showed up on time. Over the phone I told them I wanted my furnace AND A/C tuned, and they gave me a quote of $148 so I accepted. When the tech arrived, he said the $148 only covered the furnace and the A/C tuning would be an additional $50. I agree and leave him to work in the garage. After an hour he comes back telling me that my furnace is in great shape for it's age, but the ignitor is bad and won't light the furnace (although it worked a month ago last time I turned it on, it's possible it went out in the meantime). He tells me it will be $298 to fix it. I thought that sounded high so I told him I would wait and consider it. So now he goes off to check refrigerant levels on the A/C. After 5 minutes he comes back and says the A/C is broken and won't turn on (the compressor or cooling fan wouldn't turn on), so he can't tune it. I am shocked, because the A/C was working only hours before his visit (I am 100% sure, and walk past it blowing every day). When I ask him to check the wires in the furnace, as it was working before he opened it up, he tells me it will require a $98 diagnostics fee to diagnose why the A/C isn't working. I tell him it has to be something in the furnace, because it was working yesterday. He then says "I wasn't here yesterday, so I can't comment on the condition then, I can only see it's not working now". I try to reason with him that it stopped working while he was performing work on the furnace, and the least he can do it diagnose why it isn't working anymore, but he refused to do so without a $98 diagnostics fee. Since there was no way I was going to pay someone $98 to diagnose why they broke my air conditioner, I asked him to leave. So I spent $148+tax for Bel Red Heating and Air Conditioning to come out, waste 5 hours of my day, and break my A/C. I will not be using them again.

They were very knowledgeable and thorough. I felt like they knew what they were doing. Their prices were fairly good. I was satisfied with their service.

There were installation errors that caused my furnace to brake down over time. They were pretty good about backing up their work but I ended up needing a new furnace because of their errors. I was very unhappy with them. The furnace was supposed to last me a long time, but it was nothing but a headache. The people are very nice but they don't know what they are doing.

They were very professional, efficient and did a very good job. They were on time and finished the work in timely manner. They also cleaned everything after the work was done. I was happy with their quality of service and would recommend them to anyone.

Joe came out and was very professional and went around the condo to deterine the furnace that would be needed to replace the old one. He then followed-up with a quote over e-mail, the price though was double the grouping at the bottom. I got a couple of quotes around this price and it appears certain furnace manufacturers for electric furnaces are very expensive. I went with the one that was more than 1/2 the price.

Bel Red Heating is a professional organization. Many companies and individuals claim to be professional, but professionalism is proven by action and not by words. Professional companies put the interests of their customers above the interests of the company - this is easily said and difficult to do sometimes. Bel Red Heating recently installed a furnace in my rental property, and they proved to me by actions that they put the interest of the customer above the interest of the company. It was a job well-done. I am 100% satisfied with the service of Bel Red Heating, will continue to be a customer, and highly recommend Bel Red for furnace installations and maintenance. Bel Red has installed two furnaces for me at two different locations, and provided maintenance on two furnances for about four years.

I got four estimates and they offered the best price. They were very knowledgeable and helped me through the permit process which helped me save some money. They are an A company and I would recommend them to others.

There was nothing I disliked and everything was spectacular. I had done research on numerous bids and these guys came right on the ballpark figure. Tuesday, I told them that I wanted it and they came on Monday and by the afternoon, my system was up and running. They were fabulous and competitive. They weren't the cheapest or the costliest, but they were qualified to do the job.

They were very good. Their prices are competitive. There was a whole crew that came out. They cleaned up after themselves when they finished.

I was only getting about 50% heat from my original furnace during the recent deep freeze. It had multiple problems with it. I got three estimates for a new furnace, they were in the middle. Professional company. No high pressure sales pitch. I had to wait a few days for the installation, but I had some heat so it was not an emergency. Installer came out in the bad roads with chains and put in the furnace. He worked hard, didn't even take a break. Cleaned up everything when he left.

They did really good with everything they did. They were careful about walking on the floors with their shoes on.

Honest, did not try to sell me a new heater. Described the problem and offered me a choice of quality of parts. I choose a higher quality longer lasting ignitor, but still quite reasonable. Came out right away at about 8am and had the heater working in about 1 hour.

Everything went well. Josh was the repairman.

They have been very good people to work with. If there is a mistake made they come out and fix it right away. They clean up everything when they are done.
