Description of Work: Another contractor ruined a shower stall installation and Haider Construction undid the mess and finished the new walk-in shower. I am very happy with the result. I have used Haider Construction before and plan to ask them to do more work in the future.

Description of Work: They tore off our existing roof and disposed of it, then installed the new roof. We had some plywood that had to be replaced, so that is included in our cost of service, as well as the fact that we had them replace our rain gutters and downspouts.

Description of Work: They did not do anything. First a sales rep showed up and took some measurements and next the owner came out to get more exact measurements and to personally determine what needs to be done. He promised a quote in two to three days. This came and went. I called back asking about the quote and he promised he would work on it that night or the next day. Still no quote, so we stopped trying with them.

Description of Work: About 2 years ago, they re-roofed part of our roof that was by then over 30 years old. They did a terrific job at a good price (which I no longer remember), were pleasant to deal with, no funny business, and, because they were well regarded by the shingle manufacturer, we got a lifetime warranty on labor as well as materials for no extra cost. It was a very good experience. Our last roofing job before we found Haider was a nightmare. That company went out of business fortunately. I would highly recommend Haider Construction and will use them again if needed.

Description of Work: The estimator came to look at a roof where earlier moisture from incorrect venting had caused problems. Although one contractor had said we needed to replace up to half the roof, this company's estimator said he didn't agree. Even though it meant no contract or pay, they had the integrity to recommend I consult a mold remediation specialist before considering replacing the roof. Kudos for their honesty and concern.

Description of Work: Ron was fair and honest on his bid and his final billing. We had 3 bids and although he was not the lowest he was the most upfront about what we needed and how he would do it. He re-roofed and fixed a sag on the roof, installed posts to support the roof.

+ -1 moreThese guys were great. They even built up the surround on a skylight we have in the carport, as it had been leaking and there was dry rot. They could have just replaced the dry-rot boards and kept going and we would end up with the same problem again in a few years. They had two dry days and got all the tear off and repairs done. The 3rd day it started pouring. I thought they'd cover the house and wait for a dry day to install the shingles. But, they showed up at 8am and didn't stop until 5 PM. I was very impressed with their workmanship (my husband and I crawled up on the roof to check it out each evening), and their professionalism. Their prices were very very reasonable. I had 10 companies bid and Haider was the least expensive and had the best warranty, guaranteed from the shingle manufacturer, Certainteed. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to re-roof. They are up-front, and don't try to talk you into a lot of added stuff we didn't need, like new plywood.
Description of Work: Tear off two layers of old roof. Install new 40 yr. roof on house and torch-down on carport. Used metal W-valley in all valleys. Used metal flapper vents on kitchen and bathrooms. Did not need to add new plywood. Used hot dipped galvanized nails, six nails per shingle. Install 30# ASTM felt. Used 26 gage baked on enamel on flashings, starter metal, and along all rake edges. Used galvanized base flashing and collar on all heat stacks and then painted. Protected foliage and exterior of home and clean-out gutters, sweep driveways, etc., and run the roller magnet around home. Gave 10 year labor, non-prorated, warranty. They are a Certainteed, Select, Roofing company, which means Certainteed will guarantee the workmanship and roofing materials for a minimum of 10 years, more if you put on a 50 year shingle.
