Gutter King Inc

I went on Gutter King's web site and submitted a request for an estimate for gutters on my house. I was traveling out of town on a Friday, and received a call from Allen who was at my house ready to perform the estimate. He said he would be fine doing it even though I wasn't there, and he left the estimate there for me when I got back home. The estimate detailed the price with just gutters, and then the price including 3 gutter cover options. I called Gutter King about 2 weeks ago and an office person answered the phone and was very helpful. They discussed the gutter cover options with me and the best solution for my house (I have many pine trees and pine needles are always a problem). We decided to go with Versa Guard. They told me my job would be about 2 weeks out, but they did tell me which week my job would be performed, and that I would be called the day before the work was to be done. Yesterday I received a call in the evening letting me know they installers would be out between noon and 1:00pm the next day. The installers showed up to my house around 1:30, and started the work. About 3 hours later they were done. They were friendly and professional. They did an excellent job of installing the gutters. I had a very bad experience with a gutter company on my previous home, and was a bit nervous about going through the process again. This was a much better experience! They cleaned up all their garbage when they were done and answered a couple questions that I had. It's rained a bit here today since they have finished and so far I have not noticed any leaks or drips. I look forward to the next heavy rain so I can see if these gutters perform up to expectations. The company did not ask for any down payment, and I should receive the full invoice in the mail. Dealing with Gutter King has been a good experience and I would recommend them.

Our house has a hipped roof and several places where the upper roof's downspouts dump onto the lower roof. Several of the corners were leaking and two of the upper downspouts routed awkwardly on the lower roof. The estimate was competitive and the recommendations looked good, so I went with Gutter King. The work was done soon after I called and it seems to be fine. One of the initial downspout reroutes was not what I wanted, but when I pointed it out he went back and changed it with no problem.

Overall the work went very well. I submitted a web based e-mail to Gutter King for an estimate and they responded within 3 days. They asked clarifying questions and ended up sending someone on-site to do a more detailed estimate. This was very much appreciated as they identified some defects in the roofing installation as well as the mount location that needed attention. Gutter King setup a rough timeframe (a week) and indicated that they would give me a days notice on the installation. There was some minor confusion on the actual execution of the job...I was called on the Monday in the AM of the week of the install and offered the opportunity to install same day if possible. I agreed and came home to make sure I was available for the installation. It ended up that the crew was unable to make my install. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. I talked with Chuck (the owner) about the scheduling issues and he was very apologetic. The crew was out the next day and got all the work done in approximately 2 hours (~8am - 10am). The install quality looks excellent and has greatly improved the look of my house. One thing I would have tried to do better in coordination with Chuck would be to be clear on all elements of the install. In my case, we did not have a chance to talk about how the downspouts should be configured. I have called Chuck for advice post job but wish I had the foresight to anticipate that. In any case Chuck was great to work with and I would work with them again.

I think I checked online for the reviews on Angie’s list and that’s why I hired them. I got talking with them and I had them come out to give me an estimate. They seemed thorough. I think they were professional. They did a good job. I remember afterwards I was concerned about the color that wasn’t quite right. So they came out and looked at it, and it just happened that the way the light was shining on at that time and so it was fine. They were willing to check out the problem and help me out. They were very nice about everything. I guess their promptness and professionalism stood out most. They did a nice clean up. I didn’t have any problem with that. They actually installed the gutters I think when we weren’t here and I was pulling up on my drive when they were getting ready to leave. We weren’t here when they installed the gutters but there wasn’t any debris or anything like that afterwards. I had asked them to come before 1pm and they were leaving around 1pm, so they were prompt. I wish they were here when we were at home, so we could have talked to them. That wasn’t an issue and it was okay. They did their work. I didn’t specifically ask them to wait until we were here to do it. I will use their services again in the future.

They were great. It was a good size roof and it was really steep and difficult to get to. We would use them again. We were not here when they did the work.

I really had no dislikes and they were able to clean my gutters pretty well at my first house. They may have but been as responsive the first time, but the second time I called them to have some work done they got right back to me. They were also able to do work right away.

They seemed very experienced and could tell me who did the gutters initially. They did a great job and were prompt. They removed the left over and cleaned the place themselves. They were reasonably priced and the gutters are securely placed. They look good and are functional. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

The work was done well and on time.

I was not present when the work was took place but they came on the day they said they would and the job was complete when I arrived home. Everything looked great! It has been several months since installation and the gutters are working great. I had an issue with excessive noise from a downspout by my bedroom and they came out and fixed that.

Gutter company gave a quote 1/3 the price of another company, came out within a week of calling, didn't require us to be there, and replaced all our gutters in a color that matched our house. Awesome.

2 workers arrived on time and while one of them went over all the details with the homeowner, the other young man went right to work. They were professional, cleaned up pretty good and I really want to thank them for thinking about a detail we did not discuss and I was not available anymore since I left for work. This was a downspout running down the garage roof. All the new gutters are white, were brown before, which would have stood out like a sore thumb running over the brown roof. They realized it and installed a brown one. Great job and it shows you are professionals.

From start to finish, I was very satisfied with the quality, timeliness, & professionalism of this work. I contacted them in mid-September for an estimate, which they promptly scheduled & completed. The estimator initially supplied a quote based on delivery of primed fascia -- which was an error since my home is stained. Chuck at Gutter King caught & understood the error, coordinated with me on correct wood selection, and arranged an interim delivery so that I could ensure the staining was done on premises for a good match. This was fantastic. Chuck was consistently crisp in his communication, and established a date for job completion. The installers arrived on time, hung the gutters and revised downspout system quickly. The resultant drainage is outstanding, and the appearance and structural integrity of the work is great. All clean-up & hauling was thorough. And everyone I dealt with was positive, professional, and committed to doing a good job. My job was not super-complex, but the folks at Gutter King did it perfectly and I'd definitely recommend them and/or use them again.

The job went according to plan. We have a large house. Gutter King finished on schedule-two days. The gutters look fine and appear to be doing the job. They cleaned up their equipment and left the yard tidy. Recently I called Gutter King with questions regarding a new rain barrel. I wasn't sure how to connect a downspout to it. Allen came to the house, stabilized the rain barrel and connected a gutter spout to the barrel. He was extremely nice and there was no charge.

I called them and they said they would come over to look at the situation and offer a bid. They came when they said they would and gave us a bid right away. Their bid was slightly higher than another company's, but we had more confidence in them since they were so responsive, so we chose them. They needed to get the material (we wanted to use steel rather than alumiunum), so they said it would take a few days to get it, which was fine with us, and they said they would call when they got it. They called within a few days and told us when they would come to do the job and that we would not need to be here. They came when they said they would and sent us the bill a few days later. The gutter looks very good, but I won't know for sure how it works until we get some heavy rain. I assume it will be fine. When I called them to ask a small question about the bill (not the price since it was exactly what they had said), they were very courteous and responsive. This company is very responsive and does exactly what they say they will do. I would definitely use them again.

Great job! Estimator came on time and knew what he was talking about. They reused existing gutter where appropriate. Job was completed quickly & cleanly, while I was away from the house. No problems!

They were professional and friendly from the first phone call through the final interaction. They work was done quickly and efficiently. The gutters were tested by a downpour a day later and they functioned perfectly.

Gutter King Inc Company did a fine job. They came out first and gave me a bid. They then came out and installed the gutter system. They did a good job. Their pricing was pretty fair. They were professional and punctual. Their workmanship turned out to be fine. I?ve already used them twice and I would use them again if need arose.

I called Gutter Kings on 12/26/10 and the gal told me they were short handed due to the holidays and that someone wouldn't be out to do an estimate until later that week. It actually took two weeks before someone came out to do the estimate and I thought the price was a bit spendy for gutter cleaning. When I called Gutter King to inquire if their price was firm, I was told that they could come down to $175 but that was the lowest they could go. I had to ponder that for a while because the last two companies that have cleaned our gutters/roof had been charging us $125 to clean the gutters and the most recent company were no longer cleaning gutters and we had to find someone new to do the cleaning. The overall experience was good although they were slow in my opinion to getting us an estimate the first time and timing on getting the gutters cleaned was critical because of the recent weather and the debris that had fallen on our roof causing the clogged gutters. Overall we were pleased with the service, it was just getting the service estimated and ordered that took some time. Once we had the service scheduled, they came out when they said and completed the service that day.

They were a subcontractor. It was part of a roofing job that we had done, and it came at a package price. They did the job in one day. They were fine. There was kind of a miscommunication, and I asked them to do something all over again. They did that without any questions. They stuck to the job and got it done.

When the quote for all new gutters was more than we could afford, Gutter King was great about identifying ways we could save money buy repairing some of the gutters rather than replacing them, and only using the "leaf defier" in some of the gutters. This cut our costs nearly in half. Also, the office people were very helpful in the discussions around the job.

I don't remember the price being high; I thought it was reasonable. They just got the job done, which is all you want when somebody comes out to do the gutters. I was pleased with them.

The company took a week to provide me an estimate for the project and overall one month to schedule and complete the repair. I did not receive a phone call the day previous to the work as communicated to me by the office staff. The office and repair person was professional and courteous. The project invoice arrived the day after the work was completed.
