Description of Work: John installed an 8 foot sliding glass door from Plygem in the exterior wall of our dining area, giving us direct access to the deck. He built a temporary wall for support and enclosed it with plastic to keep construction dust and debris out of the dining area and kitchen. He removed two large windows, the wall, and the header. He put in a new glulam header spanning the wider opening, reframed the wall, installed the door, replaced the drywall inside and the siding outside, and primed everything. Per the contract, he left the finish painting for us to do. He hauled away all debris and left the work site clean and orderly.

 + -1 moreExcellent overall. Showed up on time and provided prompt estimate. Came to do work on scheduled date. Completed work in timely and professional manner. Took a little of bill because work was a little less than estimated.
Description of Work: Scope of work: set up scaffolding,remove shingles around the damaged area,treat water damaged sheeting with a copper- borate solution to kill any fungus present in the wood fibers. (plywood sheeting may be to damaged to only treat and would have to be replaced,adding additional charges to bid) replace tarpaper under shingles that are removed.prime new cedar shingles and install.paint repaired area.(with paint supplied by owner) prime and paint louvered attic vent.(paint supplied by owner) fix shingles with holes in them by electrcal conduit.remove and dispose of debris related to this project.take down scaffolding.

 + -1 moreJohn was very punctual and arrived to give me an estimate when he said he would come. He took the old closet doors and called when the new ones were finished. We made an appointment to install the new doors and he came when he said he would. After he installed the doors he noticed they were just a little longer than they should have been. He said he would take them back and shave off a little bit so that they would fit and slide better. I was impressed with his professionalism. He returned them the next day. They fit perfectly and slid back and forth the way they were suppose to. I'm glad I hired him.
Description of Work: John replaced indoor closet doors for me.
