Price includes the trip fee. I happened to overhear a worker from another job ask the serviceman why he didn't just recommend I replace the 25 year old furnace. The service man responded that the new furnaces aren't any different than the old ones, so there was not point in replacing it. There have not been any improvements on technology. I am very impressed with the honesty of this serviceman, and very appreciative. I am ignorant when it comes to furnaces; he could easily have told me I needed a new one, and I am so glad he didn't!
Description of Work: Although Blue Flame deals primarily with gas heat, they came and serviced my electric forced air furnace. It had been running and running, yet hardly kept the house warm during the winter. The serviceman discovered a burnt out element and replaced it. That seems to have taken care of the problem.

VERY COMMITTED TO QUALITY WORK AT A REASONABLE PRICE. BLUE FLAME WAS VERY RESPONSIVE, DIDN'T CUT CORNERS OR OVER ENGINEER. THE HOUSE WAS VACANT DURING INSTALLATION, BUT THEY STILL KEPT THINGS TIDY. THERE WERE A COUPLE UNFORESEEABLE COMPLICATIONS DUE TO THIS BEING AN OLDER HOME. THEY WORKED THROUGH THE PROBLEMS, KEPT US ADVISED, AND STAYED WITH THE QUOTED PRICE. THEY REPLACED A NOISY FAN ON THE NEW FURNACE THAT WAS DEFECTIVE BEFORE I EVEN BROUGHT IT UP AND WITHOUT ANY HASSLES. GOOD CRAFTSMANSHIP AND VERY PERSONABLE. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: INSTALLED NEW HIGH EFFICIENCY FURNACE, EXTENSIVE CUSTOM DUCT WORK, A/C COIL, ADDITIONAL VENTS AND RETURNS. VERY CHALLENGING WORK IN AN OLDER HOME.
