Everyone I dealt with from the company from the 1st repairman, to the sales rep, to the install team demonstrated great knowledge and excellent customer service.

The technician was at my house on time. He serviced the furnace, which was overdue for maintenance, made some measurements and provided some insights into what might break next. I have a 24-year old furnace, a couple of parts show signs of stress, and the technician repeated advice I had gotten in the past from others - shop around and be prepared to buy a new furnace when something breaks in this one, because it's overdue for replacement. The technician also provided detailed advice on what to look for when shopping around, what to expect from a new furnace, and what kind of costs to expect for a new furnace and installation. My current furnace runs much more smoothly since the maintenance, so it might still be another year or more before I'll use the advice. I'll definitely hire Blue Flame again for maintenance, and I'll get a bid from them when it comes down to replacing the furnace.

More than excellent experience. The technician (Crawford) was so thorough and absolutely polite. He put the shoe covers on his shoes to not track anything on my carpet. He impressed me incredibly.

The person annswering the phone was friendly and professional and set us up with an appointment right away. I was called the next morning to be informed that the service person was on their way. The service person arrived on time and was helpful and professional as well. There were not attempts to push us into additional repairs or replacement of the furnace. The service was performed quickly. The cost was high because we paid weekend hour rates. If we need to replace the furnace in the future I will definitely call them to get an estimate.

Tech showed up, did his business. He did a great job, I have no issue with his work. My ratings above have nothing to do with the tech that came out. He found that the capacitor was in need of replacement. I asked him should I replace it, he said yes; if it goes it puts a lot more load, wear and tear on the blower, and they can't predict when the part will fail completely. I told him to go ahead and replace it, then asked how much. He said it's $194, for labor part and warranty. Seemed reasonable, but I asked him to show me the part. It looks like a large battery. So I went to amazon, found the part, and the part runs from $8-20 depending on who you buy from and what brand. I asked the tech, that since he has to put the old part back after checking it (if I wasn't going to have it replaced), how is that $175 of labor? He said he didn't set prices, but it includes the warranty. I called the office, explained the same situation to the woman that answered the phone. She put me on hold, and (I believe) another woman told me the same thing. Theirs includes the warranty, and that's a set price. I was fine with the mark up on the filter, but this is ridiculous. I would understand if I called with a problem, they came out and found my capacitor was bad and then they charged me that to cover the labor; but not in this situation; they were already here, and had it out. So.... Ultimately I feel this is a predatory practice; I called them on it and they still did NOTHING. He had to walk 10' to his truck to get the new part. Since he already had the new part installed, and I can afford it I just left it. But buyer beware when working with this company. Ask the right questions. Follow up 1/7/14: Updated ratings higher. Dennis with Blue Flame contacted me in regards to this situation. He explained that it's their intention to provide 100% customer satisfaction and went above and beyond to correct this situation. I will try to work with them again when we have a furnace need.

Felt the company gave an honest appraisal of our situation, and didn't pressure us into fixing something that may not be worth it.

Did not hire because we already had a diagnosis of what was wrong with the furnace from PSE, and Blue Flame wanted $79 to come out and diagnose it again. We hired Best Furnace, who did not need to do a special "diagnosis" trip and fixed the furnace on the spot (Yes, PSE was correct in their diagnosis).

The repairman was very professional and answered all of our questions. And we had a lot as we are new home owners. a couple weeks after the service was done we received a letter thanking us for using blue flame and it came with $75 in gift cards. We will use them again. No offence but I hope we don't have to use them anytime soon. lol

Very punctual. Service person was extremely congenial and polite. covered shoes so as to not drag mud into house. Worked very quickly. Replaced swittch which has made our furnace much more efficient

I ordered a new furnace from them. Hopefully their as good as I think they will be. Installation will be in Jan and I'll rate them then.

They came over just in time and finished the job perfectly. Jack answered several questions regarding furnace maintenance patiently. Their service worth the money. I'll use their service again.

Everything was great, the contractor arrived on time, was friendly and helpful, and did the work quickly and effectively. He explained the upcoming needs of my furnace and advised me on its current age and condition.

The initial visit led to an estimate on a new furnace. The salesperson did not attempt to oversell the furnace for a 1000 sq ft condo and gave an estimate, deducting the costs of the two service calls and could put it in quickly. He also provided all of the specs to permit a comparison. We eventually went with a local Costco contractor whose initial estimate was similar before the Costco give-backs but it was driven by price alone and not Blue Flame's service. We would have preferred to go with them.

It went well. The technician was on-time. The price and work done were clear and neat.

We awoke one Sunday and realized our furnance was not functioning. We called 4 different heating companies.They were the friendliest(even helped me try to diagnose the problem over the phone(The house was very cold.), cost the least , and got someone out here quickly. The technician was also friendly, knowledgeable, and repaired the problem quickly. I will use them again for repairs and plan on getting an estimate from them for an air conditioner.

Appointment process went without a hitch. Company responded quickly and was able to accommodate my schedule. Jack showed up on time (actually was early) and got right to work. I just let him be, so as not to get in his way. He was done quicker than I had expected and explained exactly what he did. We discussed future installation of a new furnace and heat pump, but he said I would have to call the office for pricing and details. The $89.00 was an Angie's List Special.

Service was completed promptly and by the same Tech that serviced our Heater and Air Conditioner! Great rapport and personal touch! Blue Flame proactively reached out to me to correct some initial misinformation that I had received when calling after hours. We are very satisfied with the service and are signed up for ongoing periodic service from the company.
