It was great. He was responsive, showed up on time, and did a great job - telling me what was going on as he was doing stuff.

The installation did not go well at all. The installers were here all day and they tracked mud through our garage. They also did a sloppy job of installing the lines on the wall in the laundry room. The system didn't work so they called a technician to come check. The tech, Tobias, complained that we woke him up. He was very grumpy and we could hear him having angry conversations on his cell phone. He determined that the installers installed the air system upside down! The system worked backwards - heat came out through the intake vents and drew air from the heat vents! He complained to us that this had happened before. The installers returned a day or two later and were here all day fixing their mistakes. They joked with us that we should get an awesome service contract. Then the system required fine tuning and another tech (Chris, a very nice guy) was here multiple times tinkering with the system. When we called our sales rep, we were told he doesn't work there anymore. We requested to talk with the business owner, and were promised a phone call, which never came. On top of all that, the heat pump is SO LOUD and I wish our rep had explained to us how noisy it would be. At the end of the day, I sometimes wish I would have spent the additional few thousand dollars and hired Greenwood Heating and Air. Blue Flame had the best quote and the friendliest sales rep. But the installation was a sh!tshow and I cringe every time that heat pump turns on which I can hear from inside my house.

I highly recommend Blue Flame. I always get 2 or 3 estimates for things but we have had such excellent results from Blue Flame in the past that we just stayed with them. The team that installed the equipment was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. More than happy to explain things and make sure that we were happy with the outcome.

The work went excpetionally well. Hunter and his team are professional, knowledgable and kind and the price was just right. We highly recommed them.

As usual Blue Flame did an excellent job when it came time to replace my furnace. Kyler performed an in-home inspection / estimate and then suggested a furnace based on my needs. Blue Flame never tries to “up-sell” you products and are fair and honest. Great company.

Decided to purchase a tankless water heater and an A/C. If there are any issues from purchase, to installation, to post installation, this company will resolve it 100% to your satisfaction (and then some)! Im appreciative of the sales rep (Tyler), the install techs, and electricians involved (Hunter and Mike Barber). FYI made a new friend in Michael Barber the on call electrician who had to come from 1hr away to fix an issue late one evening. Definitely fair priced, and well worth the money spent and more. Thanks Team!

It went great! John, the original staff person, evaluated the furnace, explained what was needed and worked with me to select a good replacement. He did not pressure me to purchase a new furnace. A follow-up appointment for a second opinion validated that a new furnace would be best and within a few days (warm weather--not a problem) the furnace was installed with a better option for my electronic filter system. No muss, no fuss, as they say. I am delighted to have this new furnace.

We needed an electrician to our contractors were unable to fix correctly to pass the city inspections and Kosta came over the next day after calling and got everything working properly. He was efficient and knowledgeable. Would hire them again.

Blue Flame's team did a great job from the initial consultative assessment, bid and installation. Bid was competitive and fair. The entire team was service oriented and responsive. Installation was quick - two crews sent to enable one day install, complete and left clean and orderly. A+

Excellent. Darrin and his team were professional, courteous, and very accommodating to work with. They were able to get the new circuits installed while minimizing cutouts in the walls. When things didn't go as planned due to unforeseen structural issues in the home, Darrin worked with us by presenting various options. I will be happy to welcome Darrin and his team back for future electrical projects.

I've used Blue Flame for years in two different homes. I've never had an issue with them but this most recent experience has been quite literally a near disaster. I asked to have standard maintenance done on my furnace and AC, which they came out and performed. They performed the cleaning but noted several items that they recommended replacement for totaling $3,696 in estimated costs. This was far higher than anything they've ever estimated in the past including the last servicing they did 3 years ago. I thought perhaps I had an overzealous tech and didn't think much of it. He did not indicate anything was at a critical stage - he described it as recommended vs optional work. Two hours after they left we hear a grinding noise from the garage. The compressor pump is shot. Note that this was NOT one of the items they've suggested repairs on - and they were the ones that installed this very pump on the unit just 3 years ago. I call to complain and begin a week of back and forth between myself, the tech and multiple people at Blue Flame, with promises of calls back that never materialized. Finally I speak to the GM and he agrees to send the manager out. The manager comes three days later (we're now a week into this) and says the pump is shot and needs to be replaced, but won't admit that his techs caused the problem. He agrees to give me the pump at cost, so I have the privilege of only paying $300 for something they almost certainly broke. Today it's now ten days since servicing and I turn on the furnace. It is no longer working and my son says he smells a weird smell coming from the vents in his room. I go to the garage to watch it start up and as I am standing there a literal FIREBALL shoots out the vents in the furnace. I turn everything off quickly and inspect the insides. Several of the wires are clearly charred. This is now a safety issue that threatens my family which I do not trust Blue Flame to fix. I am now contacting other providers and am posting this review to warn others of this very concerning sequence of events.

TL;DR slip-shod diagnostic work Electrician initially claimed the garage wall outlets were most likely split from an ceiling outlet covered by the garage door opener, and would not diagnose any further. Only after prodding for alternative diagnoses did he do a wire trace, only to find that the wire was disconnected near a wall outlet in the room behind the basement, and had nothing to do with the garage door opener outlet. Electrician then did a quick diagnostic on the ceiling lights in the kitchen, and claimed that they were most likely disconnected somewhere between the fixtures and the wall switch, and would require a rewire. Electrician also told me that a bedroom light switch where only the dimmer isn't working is probably due to the switch being faulty. That prompted me to check the switch for the kitchen lights, which also turned out to be faulty. Replacing the switch fixed the kitchen lights.

Chris was great. He was able to come out quickly after my call. He was thorough, professional and explained everything in detail as he was doing the work. It turns out we had some loose wires that may have caused the detectors to give off false alarms. I have peace of mind knowing that he has now given everything a throrough review. This was the first time I have used Blue Flame and wouldn't hesitate calling them again if the need arises.

Blue Flame did a great job installing a new furnace in a very difficult location in our home. Even with challenges the service person was thorough, meticulous, and did the job right. Since the install we've continued to work with Blue Flame on the regular maintenance and would absolutely work with them again.

I was looking for an estimate for installation of new, and update of existing alley lighting on our condominium. I submitted a request for an estimate via Angie's list. When the customer success agent called me, they informed me there would be a charge for a technician to even come out. They didn't read the request I submitted, and asked no other questions other than scheduling a technician to come out. I was not interested in paying someone to estimate work. I don't feel as if the customer success agent was interested in anything other than scheduling a billable technician. I don't feel as if the customer success agent had read my submission and connected the dots and realized that this could be a large project. I was not satisfied with the experience.

Excellent. The electrician came in and new exactly what to do to isolate the problem to two electrical outlets that had water damage.
