Description of Work: I called Blue Flame to service my heat pump after another service company serviced it and told me there was a problem. When Blue Flame came out I showed them what the other company had written. The service guy checked out my heat pump and did not find any issues. I'll be writing a review on the other service company in the very near future. They called when they were on their way and they came out on time. A very professional company that would rather error on over communicating, which is a good thing. I've kept their phone number because I'll use them again.

Description of Work: Blue Flame came in and did a major review of my furnace. The rep was cordial, new his stuff, arrived on schedule, made recommendations and when he left we felt we had spent Our money wisely. We were contacted the day before, the morning of service and the technicial called us enrout. Their subtier that did the duct cleaning was another situation. We were not contacted the day before, I had to call to get a time and when the truck didn't arrive at the beginning of the two hour window I had to call again. Once they were here the response was great by the team that did our ducts. The only comment they made or could be made was that someone in the office failed to communicate, I know very little about the actually cleaning of the ducts but once their huge hose was hooked up they were here and gone within an hour even with Blue Flame and this team working in close proximity. Not sure what the difference is with the other types of cleaning units available were but $350 seemed a bit high for their service. Nevertheless, I was pleased with the Blue Flame response to my needs and not too happy with their subtier. The scores above represent both teams work - if I was to score them independently, Blue Flame would have been graded higher in every category and their subtier would have been graded lower.

It took less time due to there being 2 employees performing the work that one would normally do. (2nd one was in training). Again, it went very well.
Description of Work: My furnace has been acting up, so I called Blue Flame. Adam, the tech, arrived well within the time slot, fixed the problem quickly. I have heat without glitches. I will definitely call Blue Flame if I have problems in the future.

Description of Work: When I called to enquire about services (since my heating unit broke) the customer services rep literally shouted at me, belittled me and and behaved in the most unprofessional way possible. For example - she asked me if i have an alternate energy source. I took 3 seconds to think - and she shouted - do you have an alternate energy source or not? " Do you understand the simple question or not". And that was just the start of the conversation. I asked her to not shout at me and hung up.

Description of Work: Called and left message to set up appointment for estimate on adding central air to my home. Did not receive a call back, so called again. After taking all of my information I was told by the receptionist that she had just asked one of the installers about setting the appointment and was told they would not come out to my area because they are just too busy. They advertise they service Snohomish County which is where I am located. I have other's from farther away coming to give me an estimate. I cannot imagine turning away business without even trying. I did not expect an appointment immediately and would have scheduled within their open opportunities. Since they have shown they do not want my business, I am happy to oblige them!

There are parts of Snohomish County that were not able to always get to in a timely basis. We had RECORD hot temperatures this summer, and had to focus on providing service to our existing client base of over 15 years, and new customers that that are closer than Granite Falls. While it pains us to lose potential customers in the far reaches of our area, we do have to focus on our commitment of excellent service to existing Blue Flame customers. I believe an "F" rating because we politely and professionally declined taking an appointment is really a bummer. Hopefully the company that this Angie's list customer potentially did business with (she reported they were even FURTHER away) will be able to service her just as well in the future when it's extremely hot (summer) or extremely (cold). If we staffed for the extreme temperature swings, we would have layoffs seasonally, and depend on the weather too much.
