Description of Work: I chose Bekins as a well-known moving company, and their actual pack-up, storage and move-in was very well-done with no issues. As I had my possessions in storage for over a year, the only problem I had was trying to resolve what I had paid up front and what I still owed. I requested the info from the Bekins office, and got absolutely zero response. I was finally able to pull the info myself, but was very disappointed with the poor response from bekins.

Description of Work: This was the worst moving experience of my life! I moved from the Denver area to Everett, WA. It was a long hall, so they waited until they had enough of a load (which meant downloading in Denver warehouse). When they reloaded my furniture for the trip, they followed none of my special handling instructions. The driver ran into bad winter weather and had to take a longer route over the Cascades - they were a week later than scheduled. The driver then called to say he was on his way (I-5) - highway clear. That was early in the day but he didn't show up until late in the day and didn't finish unloading until 3:00 a.m.!!! He had another pick up in the truck, so my things were crammed in behind it...he had to ask "is this yours" because nothing was clear between the two households...the overhead lights went out in the truck, so they used flashlights! Their music blared throughout the apartment complex. It was cold out, but I had to leave my doors open! They damaged much of my furniture (example lifting my leather sofa by the sewed-on back pillow and tearing the leather!). Luckily, I had bought moving insurance - so I think the repairs and replacement costs were at least $1500, plus my time and grief. He was rude and gross and even antagonized the people in the office of the complex - to the point that they were going to report him to Bekins. I fault the hiring practices of Bekins and wouldn't deal with them again - even if it were offered "free". The only doubts I have are whether the local Bekins contact was Tacoma or another Bekins in this Seattle area...but I know that driver started my service in Denver. I went to a motel and didn't return to unpack until several days had passed and I could even look at the damage caused and the unpleasant experience I endured.

Description of Work: Bekins Northwest packed and shipped the contents of our home, size home approximately 4,300 square feet.

Description of Work: Moved my mother from a retirement community in Kennewick to one in Mill Creek. A fairly small move from a 2-bedroom apartment to a large 1-bedroom. It did include a piano. The job included packing.

Description of Work: THEY PACKED US OUT OF OUR HOUSE AND PUT IT ON A BIG DOUBLE TRAILER TRUCK, LEFT THAT IN STORAGE FOR TWO AND A HALF DAYS, AND THEN, CAME AND DELIVERED IT.

Description of Work: I HAD TO HAVE THEM MOVE ME AND MY FAMILY FROM OUR TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT TO OUR 2 BEDROOM TOWNHOME.
