I've never hired them because they (for me at least) have never answered their phone. Maybe it's just a coincidence or I'm unlucky, but their office downtown often appears to be closed on a weekday. You can leave them a message, but I'm remodeling and cannot keep leaving messages with various contractors – in my experience, roughly a 10% - 25% of the messages I leave with contractors get no call-back (no, I'm not rude to anyone. I simply say, "Hello, my name is [---] and I'm interested in [---]. Please give me a call – my cell number is [---]. Thank you."). I get better, faster service if I reach an actual factual person on the other end of the line. If they're too busy or too small of an operation that they cannot afford to hire a receptionist or forward calls to someone with a cell phone, then I don't have a lot of confidence that they'll get the job done on time. They might be the best at what they do, but if they're that busy, staff-up appropriately.
