Description of Work: I have had Eli do a variety of work in the past. Ths time he cleaned the gutters on a small office building I own in Mount vernon. As usual Eli was prompt efficient and did little to disturb the tenants. I am veryy pleased with the work Eli does for me and will continue to use him whenever possible

+ -1 moreMy experience with Eli and his company was wonderful. He fit me in during a very busy week for him on other jobs so I could have these bookcases assembled as a surprise for my husband who was out of town. Between making the appointment and the appointment itself, my office task/desk chair arrived -and- I purchased a hanging mirror I thought needed assembling. I asked Eli to assemble both of these in addition to the bookcases, and he was great about it. Eli assembled all 3 bookcases, helped me decide how to place them, put the chair together, figured out the mirror, cleaned everything up (and it was a huge mess - boxes and styrofoam everywhere), and loaded the garbage into his truck. In addition, for a nominal fee he takes all that accumulated garbage to the dump...very appreciated. His base hourly fee is currently $40 and well worth it. Eli performs quality and speedy work. I will definately be hiring Eli again.
Description of Work: Eli, from Granite Street Construction Services, assembled 3 mail order bookcases, a task/desk chair, and mirror. He also took all accumulated garbage from the boxes to the dump.

+ 2 moreWe contacted Granite Services via e-mail with questions regarding price and services offered/performed. They quickly replied with dates of availability, but also included practical solutions and tips. We had personally hit a wall ni our remodeling project and scheduled with them to have some estimates written up. They came ready to work and after a quick assessment, saved our project!!! We will be scheduling to have the door framed, trim nailed down and the job completed. What took us months, took the Handyman mere hours! We appreciate the honesty, affordability and professionalism given. Thank You!
Description of Work: Granite Street Construction Services originally came to give us an estimate. We had tried to do a project on our own, to save costs and had botched it. They were able to quickly assess our situation and needs, without passing judgement. In doing so, they saved us both time and money. They measured, cut, and saved our previously purchased interior door. And, they gave us various solutions to our perplexing dilemma (Standard doors are 80" High and we only have 78"-Carpet had already been professionally installed furthering our issues). We've learned our limits and the value of a great, professional handyman. We will be scheduling more work soon!

+ -1 moreThe whole operation went smoothly without unnecessarily disturbing business operations and came within the estimated costs. Eli was very helpful and I would not hesitate to request his services again when the need arises.
Description of Work: I purchased a new furnace for a building I rent out. Eli enlarged an opening to enable them to remove the old furnace from the attic. He arrived prior to the furnace installers to enlarge the opening and returned when they were finished to repair the opening and repaint the ceiling. In addition he cleared a drain in the kitchen sink that the renters were having difficulty with. This was done in a business office and Eli worked well with the renters, coordinating times when it would not disturb the business operation.
