Description of Work: They promised that I would be refunded the amount of carpet padding that wasn't needed. They charged out the same amount as carpet and did not use nearly that much. They refused at first to refund any money and only after insisting that they refund some of the money (in front of other customers) did they finally relent and returned a very small portion and said that is all that they were sure wasn't used due to poor record keeping on the part of their contractor. Needless to say I now do my business with Lowes.

Description of Work: Carpet purchase and install. We were charged for carpet padding that wasn't used and they said we would get a refund. It took a lot of work to actually get a refund and it was not for as much as it should have been. They made lots of promises up front to get the sale and then played ignorant when asked about it.
