Very well. All the work was done off season in January, all roofing was completed in three days. Scheduling was prompt. They were great at working around the weather for all the roofing. Clean up was prompt and complete. However it took several weeks for them to get back to install the gutters and chimney flashing. I paid them when all was done. They gave an additional discount for doing the work in off season.

The head guy Sean was a perfectionist and I was very pleased. The job was done in a timely manner. It took a little longer because of the kind of roof. They seemed to know what they were doing.

It went fine. They did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They did the work in a timely fashion. They were easy to work with.

This professional job was completed in a timely and exemplary manner even though I called them at the last minute because another company (Legacy Roofing, who did my original reroof) had led me on for six months and then canceled. Time was of the essence with winter approaching and State Roofing came through perfectly. It is impossible to tell where the extension begins and the previous roofing ends; blends perfectly and does not leak.

They were very professional, they stand behind their product. It took awhile but they did a great job. I would recommend them to others. They were not that responsive, but after we wrote them a letter they got back with us.

They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They were very professional about the job. They showed up on time. They cleaned up everything when they were done.

I attempted to call for an estimate. The conversation started off fairly normal, asking me my name, address and phone number (pretty general information). She proceeded to ask my for the homeowners name (which was myself) and if I was married. I did not feel that this was relevant. She repeated to ask me for my wife's name, even though I had mentioned 3 times that I did not feel that this was relevant, however she kept persisting. After getting past the first hurdle, I then began to inquire about composite roofs with 30 year warranties. The response I received was "Well, if you're getting quotes from 30 year warranty roofs, the least we would have would be a 50 year composite. I am afraid that our bid wouldn't be competitive anyway" I was taken back by her behavior. I tried to be understanding but after that comment I thanked the lady for her time and was finished with the phone call. By trying to up sell the product before ever even coming out, they pushed away a potential customer. I ended up calling another company that will be coming out tomorrow (without the phone call hassle).

They did the original roof 8 years ago, so we called for them to do the repairs since we had a warranty. Originally we didn't hear back from them when we called, but then a couple of days later they called and said they were a half hour away! Other than the problem with communication, they were very pleasant and did the repair well- it hasn't leaked since.

They were prompt about coming to the house after the December 2006 wind storm and provided an estimate to the home owners insurance company. It took several months for the crew to return to begin repair. We had to wait for the crew that specializes in metal roofs and so many people had damage we just had to get in line. Once they did arrive the work went quickly. They had to take off the old metal roof including the top of the house (what a skylight we had) and rebuild the roof frame. They installed new roofing and chimney. They disposed of all the old metal and cleaned up after. The crew did a fantastic job and were always polite and courteous. They worked from the time they arrived until the time they left for the day.

Good, they finished the roof before the original estimated time and were clean and efficient.

State has done other work for us, windows and sliding door, and we knew that they carried the rubber roof material that we thought we wanted. We called them to come give us an estimate. While we were talking about what we wanted their agent realized that we would be better served with another product (less expensive) and told us why. We agreed with his assessment. We contracted for a new roof which is fully warranted and transferable for 15 years. They scheduled for 6-8 weeks later and did it at 6 weeks. They sent a dedicated materials crew who removed the old roof, replaced damaged plywood and installed moisture barrier on 1st day. The second day they came at 7 AM and stayed until entire new roof was installed. They cleaned up and carried off all old and waste materials. We are very happy with them.

They are expensive but they are good. They were out of the material I had chosen and they knew I loved frappuccinos and in order to break the news they brought me a 4 pack of frappuccinos and came to my home to tell me in person which I thought was very nice of them. With them, you get what you pay for.

I got the feeling that they didn't want a customer who wouldn't sit still for the hard sell.

A representative came out to my home and spent quite a bit of time making sure the configuration of the windows especially the front picture window was to my liking. I also had her measure for a 2 tiered deck for the rear of my home. She was very personable and polite. I fully expected to get a great bid emailed to me approximately 1 week later by 18 May. When I did not receive the emailed bid, I called the rep. on the phone and she said she had misunderstood and would email me as soon as possible. On approximately 23rd or 24th of May, the rep. emailed me that she had personal issues at home and would get the bid to me soon. I called her again on her cell phone and to date I have not heard from her, her company nor have I received a bid on either project. Very disappointed and surprised given the reputation of the company she represents.

The weather at the time of installation was horrible. We had several inches of snow on the roof and State removed the snow to put down the layer of product used under the new roofing system. We are very pleased with the work and State has called back several time to make sure we are satisfied with their work. We would highly recommend State Roofing.

Scheduled work in May 2006 and received substantial cost savings by scheduling out the job to October or November. Called in mid-October and was informed work was to begin in 2 days. Crew was efficient, and was excellent at cleaning up afterwards. Took 2-3 days longer than planned, but the work was done professionally and exceeded my expectations

The estimate process didn't go well. The original estimator became unresponsive due to health problems. The estimate also seemed low compared to other estimates. Rich Crawford came out again, re-did the original estimate (a few items had been left out), and provided us a discount. The installers did an excellent job, were on time, and finished the same day (although it took until almost 9 pm to finish the job). The windows and sliding door look excellent and fit very well into the ''look'' of this house (built in early 60's).

The price was very reasonable. They worked with me and were willing to find an alternative to meet my budget needs. They did a good job cleaning up, they were very thoughtful and friendly. I would use them again.

Their were some bumps in road but the finished product was excellent. Them did a great job. I think their main main person in charge of the job was overwhelmed. I would hire them again, but probably not the person in charge. However, all errors were corrected to my customer satisfaction in the end.

The staff removing the old roof were SUPERB. Polite, timely, cleaned up so well that if you didn't look up at the sheeting over the house, you would not have known they had been here. On the other hand, the roofers were polite, worked rapidly, but left nails, roofing scraps, etc. around-including in driveway and had to be called back to fix the downspout placement. I have called twice about leaks--they came out the first time, though it was difficult getting to speak to them--the second time I found water leaking from my wall, they did not show up though they assured me they would. The roof was done in May 2005. They are NOT pleasant to deal with on the phone. Saw one of them at the flower show--told him they needed to do more for the previous customers and told him what had happened. He said he would tell the owner and I would get a call. Of course I have not. Yesterday I told a neighbor who stopped to ask about the roof and cost, etc. to contact ANYONE but State Roofing.

THE PRICE WAS MORE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE THE MATERIALS WERE EXPENSIVE. WE LIKED THEIR PRODUCTS BETTER THAN OTHER COMPANIES. THEY DO NOT REALLY BREAK THE PRICE DOWN SPECIFICALLY. THEY DID GOOD WORK. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY WORKED VERY HARD, DID NOT GOOF OFF. IT WAS VERY HOT. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY WERE PREPARED. THERE WERE MANY WORKERS. THEY ARE ALL EXPERIENCED IN DIFFERENT LEVELS OF WORK. THEY WERE GOOD.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, GOOD TIME PREDICTION, THEY CLEANED UP EVERY EVENING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, FOR REASONABLE RATES AND GOOD WORKMANSHIP. ASK FOR RICK SELL.

STATE ROOFING SENT OUT A SALES REP TO DISCUSS ALL THAT WE COULD DO, DID NOT PRESSURE US INTO ANYTHING WE DID NOT WANT. SHOWED A FINANCING PLAN AND ALL THE OPTIONS WE WOULD BE ABLE TO GET WITH OUR WINDOWS. DEMONSTRATED THE DIFFRENCE BETWEEN THEIR WINDOWS AND THE WINDOWS WE HAD. WHEN THE WORK WAS SCHEDULED, 6 WEEKS BEFORE MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN QUICKLY AND ACCURATELY FOR ALL WINDOWS TO BE REPLACED. ON THE APPOINTMENT DATE, 3 WORKERS SHOWED UP AND EFFICIENTLY AND CLEANLY TOOK OUT THE OLD WINDOWS AND INSTALLED NEW LOW E VINYL WINDOWS. ALL GARBAGE WAS HALED AWAY AND FURNITURE WAS MOVED BACK INTO POSITION. NO CUSSING OR SMOKING WAS DONE NEAR THE HOUSE OR WITHIN EAR SHOT. VERY PLEASANT.
