Description of Work: Replaced three tab roof with metal roof. Location was difficult with no road access, on steep bank Puget Sound. Home at bottom of 200 foot steep slope. Only problem was job delay due to access problems. Once work was started was completed professionally.

Description of Work: Last year State Roofing rebuilt our roof and did such a great job that we hired them to rebuild our large deck this fall. Again the work was done on time and as perfectly as humanly possible. And once again all personnel were delightful to work with. I would give State Roofing an unqualified recommendation anytime.

Description of Work: Replace selected cedar deck boards on a large outdoor deck, and re-cut damaged ends of good boards.

Description of Work: They came when they said cleaned up and I haven't had a problem. The only thing Ive noticed is a smell when it gets real hot. They said that would go away.

Description of Work: I already did this, guys. Go back and look at your records. State Roofing did a terrific job for us, solving a problem no one else apparently knew existed. It was expensive, but entailed finding the problem and engineering a solution. Everyone we dealt with, from phone answerer to management to workers were outstanding. Professional, courteous, competent. I don't expect to ever need their services again, but I would recommend them to everyone.

Description of Work: I got a proposal from State Roofing and I'm going to enter into a contract with them today for a new roof.

Description of Work: This company was good, timely and communication was extreemly good. I had a roof that was in extreem need of replacement. They came out, gave me a good estimate... not too cheap... not too expencive and after getting other estimates, I went with them. It was done when they said and I really like how it looks.

Description of Work: I am not sure about the cost but the company stayed on budget and on time and did a wonderful job--I would reccommed them to everyone!

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate on gutters and on a new deck. The representative had a potential solution for the gutter problem and did some further research and called me back within a day. I was satisfied with that part of the experience however he appeared to discount my ability to afford a new deck and he gave me a huge number, off the top of his head. I did not trust that estimate and would not use this company because of his less than responsive attitude and behavior.

Description of Work: In fall of 2006, we got an estimate from State Roofing for replacing our shake roof with composition shingles, which would also require an underlayment of plywood. The range was from $20,000 to over $60,000 for our two-story house that is approximately 2700 sq feet. The salesperson who came to the house was somewhat pushy, and the price quoted was fairly high. We felt like the salesperson was pushing us to go for more and more expensive roofing materials, way over what we needed or asked for. In the end, we went with another company who had quality materials and workmanship at a lower price.

Description of Work: On 3/3/08, replaced two sliding doors and three windows from aluminum to vinyl. Overall rating of A.
