Mack and Sons? More like Crack and Sons. Prompt bid and scheduling were a plus. Communication leading up to job completion was exceptional. Afterwards I was treated like a one night stand and never talked to again when I brought up issues with the quality of work. If being ghosted for months on end, yelled at by the owner at 8pm on your door step while you're putting you're trying children to sleep, you like to buy once cry twice , and have a love for substandard work then this is the business for you. Yelled at on your own property at night? I asked they remove pictures of my property and the work they did from their Facebook page as they didn't do a good job and it's not representative of the quality of their work. I also added that it's comical that they claim to support veterans but have treated multiple veterans in our community poorly. If the Veterans Administration were a concrete company it would be Mack and Sons. That elicited a response and I was actually happy to see the owner roll up at 8pm onto my driveway, Maybe they're going to fix this. I let her know that it's bedtime for the kids but the concrete they poured is right around the corner and she can look at it there. "I don't care about the concrete." I guess I wouldn't care either if I already had taken the money and done a poor job. A polite you need to leave the was met with a no followed by tears and shouts. Apparently as a veteran, I don't know anything about veterans. I laughed so hard in DD-214 that I coughed up black stuff from being near burn pits during my deployment to Iraq. Alas, the comedy routine didn't last long and after 3 more requests to leave my property, I had to use my big boy voice to get the owner to leave. I would say it's safe to say that they won't be resolving any issues with their work.

Mack & Sons Concrete did a great job on our concrete driveway. They were very professional from start to finish. Because they were able to do the job in one day instead of two probably saved me half of what other companies were charging. Thank you!

We loved the finished sidewalk and wonder why we didn't do this sooner. We were referred to Mack & Sons and we have already referred to friends.

I have waited a year from the completion of my new stairs to write this review rather than during the "honeymoon" period. I have seen the stairs perform to perfection through 4 seasons. They are looking beautiful and I am so glad I did this project.

Update to this: Letting this cure for few days to check grading with water, but 5 stars so far. Last update for this driveway repair. They came back when they said they would and tore out the faulty section and put in a drain. The rain no longer puddles into the garage and the drain appears to be functioning as it should. I was surprised that they would come back to tear out the mistake and replace it at no additional cost. Have to deduct one star for a few rough spots where they sprayed the exposed aggregate a little too early and had to pound rocks back into the edges which left a rough surface in those places and one strange line imprint that only shows up when things get wet. I will be extending this driveway soon and will probably get a quote from Mack and Sons if they are available to do the work.

This was a demolition/ rebuild of stairs, driveway and retaining walls on a 100 yr old house. Difficult to even get a bid on a job of this small scope in the metropolitan area. Mac and Sons did a remarkably thorough assessment and bid on the project. The phases of the work were well organized and came in on schedule. The quality of workmanship was high. I had a sizeable extra that I added to the project at the last moment, otherwise the bill came in as bid. I would only add this caution: As they are a small independent company, final payment is understandably due on completion.

Most professional concrete company we delt with. They responded to our calls, showed up on time and gave a competitive quote. We had a smaller job and several companies either never called back, missed appointments, showed up late or just ghosted us. Mack & Sons was professional, on time and did great work. A+ thank you!

Very responsive and helpful. Solved a unique problem (skimcoat of existing ecology block wall), quickly and professionally. Responded quickly to feedback and got the job done on a accelerated schedule. Cost a little more than I hoped, but job was probably bigger than I thought. Not sure how to judge "value" but I needed a unique solution and Mack & Sons provided without hesitation.
