Description of Work: I contacted Jeff and asked for a proposal to do maintence on my landscaped areas on a quarterly basis. He came out was very professional and his price was in line with two other proposals I had received. We are now waiting for all the leaves to fall before coming out but I feel confident that they will do a good job based on Jeff' professionalism and responsiveness.

Description of Work: Removal of front yard and shrubbery. Installation of a new front yard that is maintenance free.

Description of Work: We have had Garners NW for the past year. We couldn't be more pleased. They are night and day improvement over our last gardener. I highly recommend!

Description of Work: I hired Garners to do lawn care, clean our gutters and pressure wash the patio, driveway and sidewalk. I believe they started around March of 2014, we used them until we sold our house in Sept 2014. I only gave them a "C" overall mainly because I felt they were average...for what I expect having worked for several years in landscaping/lawn maintenance myself. | They did show up consistently...that would b graded an "A". The pricing was I believe better than average and they were willing to work out payments and/or add in some costs to my monthly bill. | |They are professional and quite responsive (most of the time), but even when not, I did not feel they were intentionally being unresponsive. They seem to have the typical staffing issues that are common among landscaping companies. | |Some reasons for the "C": I felt they were quite slow getting the mulch in and ultimately it took I believe 4 calls to have them return to finish it properly, and that pushed it out to the last minute approximately a week before we listed our house on August 1st. They pressure washed what was left (we did some ourselves because of concern it would not get done) after putting the mulch down...anyone in the business knows the pressure washing should be done prior to the mulch. But they did it very well then and did not mess up the mulch installation so that is a plus on their part. There were a few plants pulled that never should have been (quite obviously). I do know that it was a new person who did this though. And Garners did credit me for the issues, but not without several contacts regarding the issues and my dissatisfaction. | |All in all I would hire them again but for my part would be very specific of my expectations, as I tried to do but even more so than I was. | |As you can see some things were above average and others below so I gave them an average overall rating. | |

Description of Work: Yard cleanup + Biweekly maintenance.

Description of Work: Jeff and his crews did extensive landscaping on part of our property, which is approximately 1 1/8 acre, including the house site and some wild area for animals and birds. They did a beautiful and complex job, including an arbor, pergola, dry creeks, and a difficult water feature, and we believe pricing on this work was fair. We have received many compliments and always sing their praises for their vision and expertise. Garner's also maintain about 50-60% of our yard, all the beds and part of the lawn area. We are older and would only justify staying in our home if we simplified and beautified, and this is what Jeff and company have done for us. Drive by and see for yourself!

Description of Work: We use them for our HOA landscaping. Jeff was prompt, knowledgeable and the grass/landscaping looks great! Also competitively priced so that's an extra bonus!

Description of Work: Clear section of yard (including removal of grass, dirt, and cedar chips) to install a dry creek bed and two areas of pea gravel to provide sitting and playing areas.

Description of Work: I had asked three landscapers to supply me with a proposal for my front and back yards. All beds required weeding, new cut edge, trimming of all types of plants/shrubs/trees. Dog run (120 ft.) required weed eating, raking with removal and followed by a applying a spray to kill the weeds. Dispersed extra large pile of fine bark and dirt from a previous project around the dog kennel. Remove old landscape timbers from around center island. Cut new 75' edge around a new area for barking. Jeff's crew applied bark to 5 locations in the front and 3 1/2 large areas in the back.

Description of Work: We had Garner's bring in top soil and sod to redo our back yard. Also had them install a 5x8 paver landing at the bottom of our deck stairs, and a 12x12 patio out in the yard with a fire pit. Additionally the removed some sod that was still there around our septic system.

Description of Work: I use Garner's for a weekly "mow and blow" of my yard. It's 5 acres, too much for me to do alone. They mow it on Friday so that I can enjoy the weekend with a well-manicured lawn to look at. To mow the entire yard, plus blow the clippings and such off the driveway and trim all the lawn edges, is $200.

Description of Work: I wanted to update my review to say that Jeff has now been taking care of.my yard for two years now. He pressure washes, cleans the gutters, mows, sprays for weeds and really does a wonderful job. I absolutely recommend him to anyone needing reliable, high quality service.

Description of Work: Weed, edge & bark approx 120 feet of flower bed around 2 sides of the house.

Description of Work: We have nearly 5 acres that had really over grown, flower beds that were full of weeds, a seasonal creek that needed a lot of weed-wacking, and shrubs/trees that needed pruning -- the wet spring and summer really set us back in doing our own yard maintenance!

Description of Work: Front yard had plants removed and transplanted, then new plants put in, edging done around front lawn. Stone retaining wall put in around 3 sides of the front yard. Side yard weeded/dug out and covered in bark. Backyard also had edging done around lawn, part of lawn was dug out and gravel and planting bed put in its place. Bark brought in for all of front and backyard.

Description of Work: /we wanted the broken concrete patio expanded. jeff tried to find broken concrete with exposed aggregate but couldn't so we had to go with the exposed aggregate pavers in order to come close to what was there. Tearing up the old and replacing with all pavers would have not been in our budget. Jeff managed to expand the patio in a very clean and tight manner even though our ground was not exactly level enough to match up on the outside perimeter. It looks good and over time the aging will pretty will match the color of the existing patio. Mildew, mold and two dogs have a way of "" aging"" concrete. Jeff was very professional and tried to make sure my wife was entirely satisfied which is not an easy thing to do. The only thing I would suggest to him would be to respond sooner on timing. Saying he will be back on Friday without giving a ballpark on timing means the whole day is possibly required for someone to be home due to dogs in back yard. However he was here on Friday late in the afternoon. Otherwise i wouldn't hesitate to use him again. He's friendly and obviously is concerned about the quality of his work.

Description of Work: Front yard: Removed and disposed existing grass. Installed new soil and bark. Installed new turf - hydroseed. Plant installation and rock placement, created dry creekbed. Installed gravel walkway/path. Backyard: Removed and disposed of grass around all evergreens. Installed new mulch around trees and flower beds.

Description of Work: We use Garner's Northwest Landscaping to mow the grass, take care of the lawn clippings and trim. They remove any debris off our driveway and deck. They come every Tuesday.

Description of Work: I think that it was Spring 2008, we hired Jeff for several projects. The main project was to get rid of our existing gravel walkways and replace them with pavers. The second portion was to correct some poor drainage in our backyard with a french drain that helped divert water toward the drainage that existed around the footing of the house. Lastly, the previous owners of our house had a section of the yard that was used as a dumping ground of gravel and other debris. Jeff excavated out everything and replaced it with cedar chips to provide an area for our dog to use.

Description of Work: In the front yard they removed old grass, leveled the front yard, added new flower gardens areas, and sodded the front yard. The back yard they thatched and reseeded.
