It was a very satisfying and pleasant experience working with the owner and his painters. Originally, I thought we should stay in our motor home while the house was being prepped and painted. But after discussing this option with the owner of the company, we decided to stay in our home while it was being painted. I'm glad we did. The painters were excellent about working around us, and even though they just finished painting today, there are no paint fumes to live with. The owner recommends excellent paint for fair prices, and even though I am sensitive to chemicals, I haven't had any problems with this paint. The lines are clean, the walls and ceiling are perfectly painted, and this company keeps everything spotless while they work and after they are done. We recommend them to anyone for any paint project. It's obvious they have earned their excellent reputation. We will only recommend Hunter Painting from now on.

They did a great job, and were patient when the texture on the drywall wasn't dry when they were scheduled to start painting. They had to wait two days after our original scheduled start date, and were very kind about it. Otis wanted to be sure that the texture was completely dry to ensure a good paint finish. After the painting was completed, I found some areas that needed to be touched up, and they were quick to respond and make sure I was satisfied. Overall, it was a beautiful paint job at a reasonable price, and a very pleasant experience.

Very professional and knowledgeable crew. They were able to match existing wall texture in spots where walls were damaged. Arrived on time, finished on time, and were very friendly. Cleaned up everything and we are extremely happy with the results. I would use this company again and recommend them.

Owner came to house and estimated project, gave us a written bid. He arrived on time the day we agreed to and completed the job in one day. He came back the second day to reinstall fixtures. He was careful, put down drop clothes from outside door to the bathroom, warned us when he used an odorous product for texturing, left no mess. Great job overall with an excellent price. The other bid we received for the same job was three times higher.

No issues and any questions or pickups were addressed.

Excellent results. All rooms completed in one day. The two painters were skilled and very pleasant. I requested that the work be accomplished quickly and it was done the day after I signed the agreement. Otis Hunter was very helpful and kept his service commitment completely.

Everything went very smoothly. Coordination was done well and they did a good job of painting and cleaning up.

It was a pleasure dealing with Hunter Painting. Obtaining a bid was easy and timely and scheduling the job was no problem, even though we had to work around our kitchen remodel. We had them paint entry/hall, dining, living, kitchen, breakfast nook, family room and up the stairway, as well as baseboard trim and interior doors in living/dining, stairway and upstairs interior doors. They also painted the newel posts for our new stair railing. The worker was very competent, covered everything and cleaned up at the end of the day. He arrived on time and worked hard throughout the day. I would highly recommend Hunter painting for any job. They are friendly, honest, hard working and the finished product was excellent.

I had to fire a painting company because they had made a horrible mess of my home. I contacted Otis and he came out immediately and he and his team were willing to redo what the other painters had done wrong and fix it as best he and his team could. He fit me into his schedule as quickly as he could and was very accommodating to me understanding the frustration and stress I was under. They did an excellent job and were neat and tidy which the others were not. They listened to any concerns I had and immediately made the changes or adjustments. I plan to have my kitchen cabinets painted this winter as well as my exterior painted next summer and I will definitely be calling Hunter Painting.

Otis Hunter is a true professional. His crew was excellent. They were timely, friendly, and I couldn't believe how quick the job was completed. Very happy with the results. My house is beautiful!

With a two story home (day-light basement) they were on task, on time, and I couldn't be happier. They pressure washed the house on Friday, started painting on Monday, and with only minor tasks (second coat of paint on front door), were done on Wednesday morning. I had tried to prepare for them coming by caulking around some windows and used the wrong caulk ! But this didn't thwart them in the least. They figured out a solution, and when it wasn't quite doing the job, figured out another....and got the job done. I can't say enough about how great they were/are. Set the bar for allllll other painting companies I am sure. One will NEVER regret hiring them. Period.

We were very pleased with both jobs that Otis and his crew performed for us. They were friendly, courteous, and on-time. We were actually out of town when they painted the exterior of our house but we felt secure enough to allow Otis to have full access to our house in order to complete the job while we were gone. We trusted him completely and were not disappointed. We returned home to a beautifully painted house and there was no mess left anywhere. We have recommended Hunter Painting to neighbors and friends who have all been very satisfied with their workmanship. We would not hesitate to use Hunter Painting for our future painting needs.

Otis from Hunter Painting came to our house and inspected the areas I needed painted. He was very friendly and took the time to listen and understand my particular needs (see below). Within a day he sent an estimate in .pdf format to me via e-mail describing the services we had discussed along with a price. Once I reviewed it and confirmed it was correct, we decided to hire him. (Otis is the owner of Hunter Painting. Also, he did ALL of the painting himself.) Master Bedroom: Since we were having carpet laid prior to painting and we hadn't decided on a paint color just yet, Otis suggested that we simply paint the trim in the Master Bedroom first and then have the carpet installed. Once the carpet was laid, he would come back and help us select a color that would match the carpet. This is exactly what we did. Otis was very helpful in matching both the wall and ceiling colors that would work well with our furniture and the installed carpet. We're very pleased with the results. Hallway: We already had the paint for the hallway and some of the hall was already painted. Otis finished off the rest of the hallway with the provided paint and edged it into the ceiling, something that hadn't been done before. Stairs / Entryway: The walls in these areas had already been painted, but the edges hadn't been cut into the ceiling yet. Otis worked to edge the wall color up to the ceiling. This was done on a particularly high and difficult stairway that opens into the entry of the house. Conclusion: What I liked about working with Otis is that he was very flexible with our specific needs. For example, suggesting that he paint the trim first, have the carpet installed and THEN come back for color selection, THEN come back again to finish the paint job made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I didn't just want someone to come paint the house. I wanted someone to understand what we wanted to do and help with color selection and timing. Otis fit the bill. Between estimate, painting trim, color selection (after the carpet install) and the final painting of the ceiling and walls, I believe he visited our house at least 4 times during the process. Not only was a I pleased with the result, but the process itself was reassuring and enjoyable. I'm having Otis come back to paint the Master Bath, Office, Dining and Living Rooms. The fact that he's willing to work with us on color selection and suggest different ways of enhancing the rooms is a big factor for me working with him.

They were punctual, polite, and finished the work in a day.They cleaned up after themselves well.

This jobs was full of pitfalls. Some examples being: Exterior Job: Incomplete pressure washing job resulted in delays. Not performing basic prep work (scraping lifted paint) prior to spraying the home with a base coat. Got paint on my brand new windows and screens Used my lawn furniture to stand on for painting. Cleaned their brushes out in my lawn. Painted everything except my kitchen door and claimed it was not in the scope of work. They did paint the door after I told them I would not pay for an incomplete job. Interior job: Went well with exception of them raising the job price by $820. They claimed that items like the window casings, entry door, and the stairwell was not in the scope of work (SOW). Items were originally requested but did not reflect in SOW. The scope of work was poorly done and did not reflect the job I wanted. They basically fall back on it when it is to their advantage.

The job was completed so quickly! Every thing was done within three days! The workers were clean, professional and friendly. They knew exactly what they were doing. I told them what I wanted and they did it. I even got under foot at times and they were great about making me feel that they were there to make it right for me!

As predicted, Hunter Painting created a fine art painting masterpiece for us. They professionally came in on time and they submitted only one Extra based upon a change we had made. Their fees justify the high quality of professional workmanship. The top quality of materials they use to complete a project. When they left our site they only left a masterpiece of painting art. We didnt have to spend time cleaning up after them. Otis always visits our sites regularly and works in harmony with our Project Managers or trades. We cannot say enough about this young fellow Otis, his team of experts and the care they take while completing a project.
