It all went very well. Stuart was great to work with. His bid was competitive and in line with other companies with good reviews. But we chose him over others mainly because he gave us several ideas and helped us understand some of the details. The work was done well. It was completed a day earlier then originally estimated. The quality of work was very good. I like that he took care of a few extra things along the way, like fixing up the patch on the kitchen ceiling, fixing up a door trim that had started showing a gap in the corner, etc. We will probably use him again for our Exterior painting as well.

Stuart and his team showed up on time and began work immediately. Great attention to detail, used plastic and drop clothes to cover furniture and electronics, cleaned up their supplies and even vacuumed. I am very happy with their work and would use them again.

Stuart knows his business very well. One of the reasons I hired him was because he was so knowledgeable and cared so much about his work. Even while he did the estimate at my house he was pointing out different things he noticed about the previous paint job and ways to accomplish what I wanted with the job I was hiring him for. Once the job started, Stuart continued to impress me with his knowledge of painting; using various techniques and tricks to get the job done quickly and professionally. For example, Stuart discovered an old water spot in one of the upstairs bedrooms that was showing through the new coat of ceiling paint he applied. He used a shellac to prevent the spot from further seeping and then painted over the spot again. (This was a spot I probably wouldn't have noticed for a few days and he probably could have gotten away with doing nothing) Stuart was always responsive and always on time. He returned every call I made to him within 24 hours. He showed up every day between 8 and 8:30 exactly as we agreed. And he encouraged me, several times, to inspect his work and point out anything that I wasn't 100% satisfied with. I found several minor flaws, which Stuart fixed immediately and without argument. I gave Stuart a B in professionalism only because I couldn't give him and A-. I have one minor quibble with our relationship. When Stuart came to our house to estimate, it was a bit chaotic because we had just moved in. There was lots of furniture a boxes spread around and it was clear that we were living in the house but things were messy. Stuart did the entire walk-through and provided and estimate without mentioning that he doesn't usually move furniture, for liability reasons. I think that's reasonable and understand his position but I wish he had told me that up front. Normally it would not have been a problem, but I had some health issues the week Stuart was here and couldn't move the furniture. In the end, Stuart did move some of the bigger pieces of furniture and was generally accommodating about the issue. Like a said in the beginning, this was minor quibble and really the only fault I could find with any of the work he did. Overall, Stuart was one of the best service people I've hired. He performed the exact job that he told me he would perform. He did it for the exact price that we agreed upon. And, he is truly a craftsman. He cares about his work. He cares about doing things the right way and he cares about customer satisfaction. I would hire Stuart again and recommend him without reservation.

I chose Summit Painting based on other customers reviews. I had all rooms painted. Stuart from Summit Painting is very friendly and has lots of good suggestions on what to do and what not to do..

I previously contracted Eccles Painting to paint the exterior of my home, fill nail holes, caulk, sand and paint the crown molding, floor molding and interior walls. They did such a terrible job that it didn't even look like I had hired a professional painting company to paint my home. After several battles with the owner, Art Eccles, he approached Summit Painting LLC to assist him with a second opinion. Stuart, the owner of Summit Painting provided the second opinion (he came highly recommended via Sherman Williams). Art Eccles was not personally able to fix the mistakes made by his team so he hired Summit Painting to re-do the work. Stuart arrived on time for our first meeting and continued to be extremely punctual (8am on the dot each morning) through out the engagement. He and his team demonstrated a great deal of professionalism while being caught in the middle of a terribly challenging/hostile situation. I imagine one they will not forget any time soon. I appreciated Stuart's honesty and willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. He went above and beyond my expectations, all of which was done in a timely manner, within the budget provided. Stuart and his team proved to be very knowledgeable regarding painting technique, paint quality and overall requirements. I would highly recommend Summit Painting LLC and will continue using their services in the future.

Stuart and his team did a beautiful job painting the exterior of my house. He came out and gave us a quote which was on par with the rest of the quotes we got. He gave us a timeframe for the work, and he stuck to that time frame for the most part, although the rainy September we had pushed the dates out a bit. Stuart touched base with me a few times to reassure me that they would be out as soon as they could. He had his whole crew working on our house to get it done before the rain really set in, and they did a really fabulous job. The house looks great, they were all prompt, professional, and courteous throughout the process. Stuart was personally on the job for much of the work, and he made sure everything was done to his incredibly high standards. I was really happy with the end result, and would use them again for interior or exterior work.

First of all, Stuart arrived right on time to look at the job and give me an estimate. The first thing I noticed was his attention to every little detailed. I had 2 other estimates and neither company had shown that level of concern and observation. The price was more than fair for the job. When I walked in after they had finished the job, I just said a loud, "WOW!" It looked exactly like I had envisioned it. They did a meticulous job. My window sills had not been attended to in the 22 years since I moved into the condo when it was brand new. I was amazed and so pleased when I saw the perfect job they had done with both the window sills and the base board. They did a great job of cleaning up, were always very professional, friendly and answered any questions I had thoroughly and understandably. I have already recommended Summit Painting without reservation to two friends and will continue to recommend them to anyone who needs painting done. I would hire them again in a split second to do any painting for me. Stuart did an outstanding job of communicating either by phone or email, before, during and after the job was complete. Stuart and his crew arrived at the agreed upon time, finished when they said they would, charged me what we agreed on prior to starting the job. They did more than I asked (painting trim on the chimney), they were great to work with. I plan on calling them again next year for my deck. I was worried because it rained heavily later that night but everything still looks good. The owner said it would be fine and it was. I wish everyone I hired was as easy to work with.

Stuart and his crew were extremely professional. They did an excellent job on the exterior of our house. We had exterior doors that were quite tricky to paint over, but they went above and beyond to make sure that they looked awesome. In all, they probably applied 6 coats of paint (by brush) to our front door. They definitely take pride in their workmanship and will go the distance to make you a satisfied customer. In addition, Stuart is not just the owner but a hands-on member of the crew too. He was here personally each day to make sure that everything was done properly. He personally pressure-washed every square inch of our house, driveway, patio, and fence. You can tell that he truly cares. Thank you, Stuart!

The Big Deal never happened for me and my room was never painted by Summit Painting. I spoke with Stuart, the owner, in March 2013 and he promised to honor the deal I had purchased in November, but he said that it would have to be when the rainy days started again because he was too busy. That made sense to me but since I never heard from him again to schedule or to touch base about our agreement, I emailed him in June, July and August. All three times he briefly answered my emails, but only to say he would still honor our deal and that he was still really busy. So to date, nothing has happened and no scheduled time has been set. In defense of Stuart, I waited till the bitter end of "The DEAL" to talk to him, but now I'm tired of waiting and wondering. I'm ready to be done and find someone that will actually paint my room.

Superb job! I was a professional painter myself years ago, so I am critical, but also appreciative of quality work. The job Summit did for me was for interior painting, and they exceeded expectations on every front. I can recommend them without reservation. Stuart, Summit's owner, was very responsive by email, and we scheduled a day for the service that was mutually workable. Not only did his two painters show up on time, but Stuart himself was there to make sure everything was set up and clear. That wasn't necessary, though, as both of the painters who worked all day were experienced and (as I believe I am qualified to assess) top-notch, conscientious craftsmen. They were both friends of Stuart's, experienced painters, and they seemed to genuinely care about the quality of their work. They took care to keep the house clean, and worked efficiently and productively, actually accomplishing more than I expected in the time allotted. Stuart even returned again at the end of the day to make sure everything was satisfactory (it was). Not only would I use Summit again, but I plan to do exactly that, both for more interior and for exterior painting. That's the best recommendation I can give!

Stuart and his crew were able to move my start date up a few days which was fine with my schedule and the pending weather forecast. Honestly, our home was long over due for painting: faded and dirty trim, peeling paint, and the numerous weathered and peeling wood-wrapped windows. My husband and I highly recommend Summit Painting for numerous reasons to follow. We have been homeowners for 30 years and own rental homes as well, so we can compare Summit Painting to other companies we used in the past. To begin, we appreciated Stuart introducing his work crew to his personally and explaining the process they would use to start and complete our job. They spent almost one day prepping our home by sanding, scraping, and priming certain areas and probably the most time consuming, but important step in the process. As the work crew moved methodically from one side of the house to another, we were kept in the loop of their plan to include problem areas that needed additional primer and/or paint. They took it upon themselves to fix little things like a gutter or two because it was the right thing to do from their perspective at no additional cost to us. Donnie, Jacob, and Greg, Summit's work crew, were phenomenal. They arrived every day between 7:30-8:00 AM and once they started, they only stopped for lunch. They took pride in their work because the lead, Jacob, would inspect every step and have them redo anything that "wasn't right." They were also clean and tidy and always left at the end of the day with everything put away; at the end of each day, we could hardly tell they were in our yard. We also had neighbors mention to us how quiet and tidy they were while working. Most importantly, if we questioned any part of their process that we felt needed re-painting, reworked, or asked a question, any of the workers stopped what they were doing and responded to us respectfully. They, too, were friendly and well-mannered. To conclude, we highly recommend Summit Painting for any exterior painting work and we plan to have them return in the future to paint our interior for the reasons aforementioned. We definitely feel we received the "Nordstrom treatment" if you will and now have a "new" home with huge thanks to Summit Painting.

Stuart (owner of Summit Painting) was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He explained clearly what work needed to be done and how it would be done. Quality and thoroughness were of utmost importance to him. He and his crew gave great attention to detail and worked efficiently. They did a fantastic job and we are more than pleased with the work that was done. Stuart did everything he said he would, he exceeded our expectations, and our house looks great.

The owner, Stuart, gave us a bid, which was the lowest of the three we got. He seemed very knowledgable and I liked him. He and another guy pressure washed the windows and doors to be painted, and a week later a crew of two men came and did the painting, over a period of two and a half days. They seemed to know what they were doing, and the windows and doors look great now. They even did a couple of minor repairs, for no extra charge. We are quite pleased with the paint job and would use them again.

It took a while to get an appointment since Maple Valley was not their normal work location. I expected more 'professional' help in picking out colors. the actual painting was excellent -- no mess, no over painting (straight lines), quality application, terrific clean up. We had moved all furniture/pictures from the paint area so the painters could just come in and get to work right away. They worked fast and even finished early. We may have them come back to paint the outside of the house.

After getting 4 bids to paint the outside of our house, we chose Stuart because of his professionalism and reasonable price. We were extremely satisfied with our choice. Stuart helped us choose the right paint for our house and was very patient with my indecision about color choices. He was reliable, punctual, and pleasant to have around. Stuart provided a high quality paint job and his attention to detail was exceptional. Daily before leaving, he thoroughly cleaned up any mess that had been made. Three years later, our house continues to look amazing with no peeling or fading paint! Recently, he came over and repaired and touched up the painting at no charge on a piece of chimney siding that was coming off. We will continue to use Stuart for painting needs in the future.

Superb! Although the team was booked on other jobs, Stuart made some time in his schedule to come patch and paint my kitchen himself. He was professional, a good communicator, set my expectations well (made sure I didn't expect my antique home's rough plaster walls to look smooth and modern), and did great work. He made sure to talk with me about how he was doing the work and check to verify my expectations along the way. I'm very pleased. I've contracted Summit Painting to do my exterior in the fall. then thenSummit Painting personnel appeared ~ April 10 and began preparation of the house exterior walls for priming. Because the last painting had been nearly 20 years, the old paint was hanging in shreds from the South and West walls. The South wall had to be pressure-washed and scraped down to the bare wood. The deck was pressure-washed, then scrubbed with a solution containing some bleach. Stuart Rienche, the owner of Summit Painting asked me to examine some particular parts of job as it was being done (such as the deep rich maroon on the front entry door) to make sure that I was satisfied. The cost of painting my 40-year old house is perhaps not typical, but considering the prep work necessary, I thought it (~$6400) very reasonable.

Summit painters did a terrific job painting spaces that required a lot of painting around doors, other woodwork and difficult to reach ceilings and walls. They were speedy and efficient, while maintaining their high standards. Stuart also gave me expert advice on paint brands & stores, and finding the best paint for our money. Because I added extra work, the overall price was greater but well worth it. They also did such a god job repairing an old water leak spot before painting our kitchen ceiling that I can't see where it was. Thanks Summit!!
