Wasn't done correctly the first time. Was difficult to get a hold of them to come fix it correctly

The lag time for this company is outside of what I would consider good business practices. After reading good reviews I decided to call North Creek Roofing about removing a wood stove pipe and roofing over the hole. The receptionist was friendly and took my information and said the techs make their own schedules and one would call me soon. That was September 27th. I didn’t hear from a tech until Oct. 7th, a full 9 days later. The tech scheduled a time for the next week, then called twice between then and the date to reschedule. I was happy to accommodate since I work from home but thought his lack of organization was unprofessional. When he did arrive he was nice enough but made a big deal about the fact that they would not patch the drywall inside, which I never expected anyway, and that he probably wouldn’t be able to do it until after Thanksgiving, at least another 6 weeks away. He also would not give a quote at the appointment (which another company did) and claimed he had to input the info into a computer at the office and email it to me later. I was told he would get the info to me later that day or the next. That was Oct. 17th. I just received the email quote yesterday (Oct. 24th) and it is significantly higher than the other company.

Last fall North Creek put a new roof on a 4,500 sf house for me - somewhat complicated roof and WAY too high for my comfort level. They did a fantastic job all the way around and the roof looks great. They even left our yard clean (I think maybe cleaner than when they got here but don't tell that to their project manager). Highly recommend you give them a try.

I need to get my roof inspected and cleaned before this winter, as it has some debris on it from the past few winters and could use a check-up on the roofline and around my chimney. We are experiencing no issues with the roof at this time, and I did some dry brushing of the debris myself last winter when hanging up Christmas lights, so the cleaning required is not excessive. June 15 - I found the deal for $350 for a roof inspection from North Creek Roofing on Angie's List, and called the company to see if I could use the deal and pay additional for a roof cleaning. They said yes, so I purchased the deal. June 16-20 - I scheduled the roof inspection for my home to be done on June 27, which would be after I had left for three weeks of vacation. It took several days and phone calls to schedule this service. June 28 - I received a call from the roofing company (while I was on vacation, which they knew) telling me they couldn't possibly inspect my roof without a cleaning, and that I needed a new roof anyway. I told him that I was on vacation, as he knew, and that I would deal with it when I got back. He told me to get a refund from Angie's List as he could not accept the voucher towards the price of the service required, which is contrary to what I was told on June 15 before I purchased the voucher. June 30 - A proposal was emailed to me, which I did not look at because I was on vacation. July 18 - My first day after vacation, I received a phone call from the company telling me that they'd received the check from Angie's List and to let them know if I got a refund so they wouldn't cash the check. July 27 - I opened the estimate sent to me on June 30 and found it to be extremely overpriced for a roof cleaning, even if an inspection is included, with total costs at least triple what the going rate appears to be (and in some cases quintuple) based on other work done by different companies on Angies List. At this point I decided that I no longer was interested in having work done by this company, and worked with Angies List to obtain a refund. If North Creek Roofing was not willing to do the inspection without a cleaning, the least they could have done was accepted the paid-for voucher as credit towards the total bill instead of telling me to get the refund myself. I was not impressed with how this company handled this situation, and I'm not planning to use them or recommend them to others.

North Creek Roofing showed up about 8 AM and by 8:45 had the old roof off. They replaced OSB plywood as needed and the started the underlayment. They moved as a team and had the entire roof completed by 4:30 the same day. They spent a good 30 minutes cleaning up the debris and ran the magnetic tool across the whole yard, front and back picking up any nails. The guys worked well together and every time I came out to ask a question, they stopped to answer and then continued on. From Evan coming out to give me a bid, he was the only one who got on the roof and actually walked it to see what kind of shape it was in, to the crew who performed the work, to Jacinto who came by the next day to pick up the excess material and do a final inspection, he also got on the roof to make sure it was the right quality of work, this is a company I would recommend to anyone. Professionalism and quality of material and work at its best. Even the dumpster company they used did something I didn't expect, before he loaded it on the truck, he took the time to cover the dumpster to ensure nothing came out to cause a road hazard!

I made calls to 5 roofing companies from Angie's list. Chris was the only roofer to return my call and he showed up promptly to give me an estimate. When the day of the actual work was to begin, Chris called me and let me know his crew was on its way and when to expect them. They were very professional and worked nonstop to complete the job. Chris came by and inspected the job and lent a hand holding boards and cleaning up scrap material. They did a great job and I would not hesitate to call them again if I need any roofing work. This is a first class A+ company. I highly recommend giving them a call if you need any roofing done!

They were almost $4,000.00 less then Haights Roffing we had both quotes same day for the same roof material and by the same material brand. North Creek were on time fast considerate the new roof is perfect.

Went very well. Out of 5 quotes that I received from them and other companies, they were the second to the lowest. Very pleased with the work, from the sales side through the contracting phase, and then the installation phase...all was very professional. I had only one small, minor disappointment...and that was the cleanup at the end of the project could have been a bit better. But I'm very picky, and I'm sure for the average person, it would be great! Would definitely hire them again, and would recommend them to anyone.

I liked this company from the get go. The estimator did a temporary fix on a hole in the flashing as I was having water enter a bedroom ceiling/wall. It took him 20 minutes and no charge to me. His temp fix held up until I could get the guys out for the permanent fix.

The estimate was good. We did get 3 estimates and North Creek was close to another estimate. They explained what they were doing as they went along. They started when they said they would and kept us informed about preliminary steps, such as when the dumpster would arrive and when roofing materials would be delivered. John and Chris were professional when working with them, answering our questions daily especially regarding the attachment of the patio roofing. The work was completed as scheduled and after final payment was received, we were sent a lifetime warranty for the roof.

Fine at first. In October 2012, North Creek appeared to have done a beautiful job on my roof and made it look really classy. It looks like I have the nicest roof on the street. I initially contacted them based on Angie's List reviews, and gave them the contract based on 3 estimates. Late Thursday afternoon on 1/7/2016 ( 39 months later), I realized I had 2 leaks. One left splatter marks on the hardwood floor (approximate 1-foot radius) and the other left splatter marks on a small white marble table I had placed there the previous Sunday (approximate 1-foot radius splatter marks). There was a dark spot in the ceiling corresponding to each splatter pattern. Ceiling is cathedral and tongue-and-groove and each board 6" wide. The dark leaks run the 6" width of each board and then disappear into the grooved portion. Seeing this, I started to investigate further and wound up noticing several other demarcations on the wood of the cathedral ceiling located all below the skylight as it slants downward. These marks did not leave dark marks, but the wood is discolored with obvious water staining/dribbling lines. Needless to say, this is a problem that seems to be accelerating and obviously, the leaking seems to come from the skylight installation. The other 2 skylights North Creek installed have no problems whatsoever that I can see. There were no skylights to begin with. This was new installation of skylights. I contacted North Creek Roofing at 8:00 a.m. Friday morning and spoke to Kaserina who told me it is covered by warranty (as my contract says -- 20 years). Kaserina said Chris, the repair specialist, would call me back. Chris called back promptly. I gave him the information. He said it was odd that this would occur more than 3 years later and maybe "something failed." Chris is coming back to my house on Monday morning, 1/11/2016, to examine my problem. Hopefully I will have good news that North Creek Roofing will rectify the problem and honor their warranty because something did fail in this installation process.

Excellent service from the no-pressure sales visit to the completion of the project. The total cost of the project was significantly lower than comparable proposals without sacrificing quality in any way. Professional, considerate crew minimized any inconvenience we might have experienced.

Staff is great, prompt, respectful, and professional. They treat your time as important. They did the job in two days! Always on time each day and were polite and respectful when on the property. They cleaned up each day and made sure everything looked nice and was safe before they left. On the final day they cleaned so well you could hardly tell they had been here. A company foreman showed up a few days later and went over the roof to insure that everything look perfect and that the job was done perfectly, which it was. I had got over 5 quotes and I choose north Creek becuase they were competitively priced and are well know for great work. You really will be happy with what you get and if you aren't they will make it right. They have a great reputation and will do almost anything to keep it that way.

North Creek provided the most in depth and professional bid of the 3 companies we contacted for our job. While their bid was not the lowest (that's the only reason for the B ranking), they had come recommended by a neighbor (who is himself a contract painter) who had used them last summer. They were prompt to return calls with any questions and very good about being flexible in their scheduling. Once the job began, the work crew was professional and courteous. On the last day of the job (our roof was small so this was only a 2 day job), I called in the morning because I had forgotten to follow up during the bid process to request that they replace the fascia boards running along one side of the house. The foreman was as accommodating as could be. Within a few hours, he had the new boards delivered to the site and installed. I've already recommended them to one of my co-workers who ended up going with them as well for his new roof. Easy to work with, great communicators, very professional and deliver a great product. Would highly recommend North Creek if you're looking for a new roof.

They actually did very well. They were competitive but weren't lower than anybody.

North Creek was top-notch. Everything about the experience was above and beyond what I was expecting. There's nothing glamorous about getting a new roof but North Creek made is so easy and comfortable. They were extra attentive, friendly and really quick (in and out in a day and a half for a roof on a house that's 3,000 SQ-Ft). The crew was so fast with the tear-off that they beat the supply delivery! Despite the delay they still finished faster than expected. No short cuts were taken to get the job done and they even came back to make sure all the nail holes that they had to put in the siding for the new flashing was caulked and painted over with the house color. They even did some touchup caulk and paint on some windows and house trim while they were up there on some of the harder to reach areas which they just did, I didn't ask them to do. It's apparent that these guys care about the work that they do. They were not the cheapest bid we got, we got three, but well worth the small difference in pricing. Our neighbor across the street had gotten their roof done the week before by one of the other companies we had gotten a bid for and they had told us that after watching ours go on they had wished they had used North Creek. They had to spend an extra day going round their entire house to pick up a lot of debris that they had left and had mentioned they just were not happy at how messy they really were.

This is the second time I've used Chris and his crew to fix leaks in a roof and have again been delighted with their expertise, professionalism, courtesy, and success in solving problems. They opened up the roof area where there was a suspected leak a determined it was actually a condensation issue. Installed another vent and so far it's solve the issue. Gladly recommend them to anyone..

North Creek Roofing was the one company out of the three bids I received that I felt the most comfortable with. During the estimate process they showed me what needed to be done with NO pressure, or upselling telling me I need that, and you need that. The crew showed up on time, completed everything, and within the time frame promised. I would highly recommend that if you need your roof replaced at least give them a call, and talk to them you will be happy you did.

I can't say enough good things about North Creek Roofing. They were punctual, always letting us know what was happening and when. The crew was exceptionally polite and very hard working. When they discovered that our chimney was too far gone to put new flashing on, they prepped the flashing, sealed the area and gave us recommendations for a mason to do the chimney repairs. I especially like having safety anchors installed on both sides of the roof peak. While not the cheapest quote we got, the value is priceless. You definitely get what you pay for. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Now that we are past the worst of the winter storm season and just came out of a record setting rain, I can say that there are no leaks or issues with our new roof. It is a nice change to be able to listen to the rain and not worry about water coming in. Thanks a million, North Creek.

Everything was on time and well done. We were called several days prior to start of job with calendar of when supplies would be delivered and when work will be done. Everything came on time. Workers were on time, polite and professional. The job was completed on time, actually ended a day early, was well done. Everything was cleaned up perfectly. We have a beautiful new roof! EVERYTHING about this job was great! From the Estimator, to the foreman, to the workers, to the billing followup....all great! When I started looking into roofers, it was a bit of a surprise that everybody and their brother was a roofer. North Creek wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive, but now that it's done, the best value. The roof looks fantastic, cleanup was well done, touch up after the fact was well done. Overall a great job. One of the best parts was the communication along the way from John the foreman. He let me know exactly what was going on every step of the way. And the workers were amazing: focused, skillful craftsman, I really enjoyed watching the process. Highly recommend this company.

We discovered our whole house fan had no ducting or vent and was blowing directly into our attic. We called several ducting contractors to complete the work, but no one wanted to take on such a small job without charging us a standard rate (which was double the estimate from North Creek Roofing). We finally contacted North Creek. Chris came to the house within two days for the estimate and brought his team over the next day to complete the job. In addition to installing a flapper vent and insulated ducting, the crew did a visual inspection of the roof and pointed out potential trouble areas. From there, Chris and the team installed roof safety anchors, they removed and replaced the failing ridge cap, and they inspected and sealed any suspicious areas on the roof. We can now rest easy that our roof is in good maintenance and won't cause us trouble for hopefully a long time.

It went well. John and the crew were very efficient and were done in 3 days, quality is excellent and price was very good compared to other similar rated companies. They were very quick to address some minor issues like they accidently threw out my foam gutter inserts during the tear off and put a hole in one fly screen. The only thing they could have done better was cleanup at the end of every day. I couldn't take my dogs out without first picking up many nails, stables and bits of flashing. The final clean-up was fine and overall I am completely pleased with the job.
