Description of Work: They installed a foyer pendant, and ceiling light in hard to reach locations. Removed old fluorescent fixture and installed a new one. Removed a light switch, repaired two sockets. We had a coupon and agreed to be billed for the remaining balance. Took a couple attempts to schedule, but we were able to find a mutually agreeable time. He was very helpful, made some good suggestions, and we certainly got our money's worth on the coupon deal. Everything was installed/ repaired to our satisfaction. Would definitely hire again.

Description of Work: This company offered a deal via Angie's List: 2 hours of electrical work for $200. One of our breakers has a history of buzzing and smoking, and changing the fuse out wasn't fixing the issue. So I needed a professional assessment, and fix. The first appointment was a month away when I called to schedule. It was a deal, so I waited my turn patiently. However, the day of my appointment, no one came. I called to find out the tech had a personal emergency, and they would need to reschedule. It took another month and seven phone calls to finally get the work done. They sent someone to give me an estimate in the meantime, but that didn't fix my problem or move anything forward. When the tech finally came to do the work, he was as outwardly grumpy and focused on just getting it done as I was inwardly. He did a great job, but it took too much time on the phone for me to ever jump those hoops again.

Description of Work: I needed a 240V electrical outlet installed in my home office. The work involved installing a new 240V breaker and pulling wire from the breaker, through the attic, to the office. The PK Electric electrician, John, arrived on time and completed the job quickly. He also cleaned up after himself before he left. The next time I need electrical work done I will definitely use PK Electric.

Description of Work: Installed power outlet for fireplace. The technician didn't have the proper drill bits, but when to HomeDepot/Lowe's to get the right one. Originally charged for the trip to hardware store, but later reversed charges. Job was well done and within time frame.

Description of Work: I was getting ready to put our house on the market, I wanted some basic electrical services be provided - install CO2 monitors, update smoke alarms, GFCI outlets, wireless doorbell. The service technician who was sent out was not well prepared - he had to go get supplies & even then did not get the right ones. He was opinionated and a bit too pushy for my taste - argued with me about my request for needing/wanting 3 doorbell ringers installed (we have a very large house). Long story short, a second tech was sent out with the wrong equipment - I refused the equipment and called another company.

Description of Work: Checked light fixtures. Ruled out electric shock from light switch. Recommended new fan for skylight. Actual work needed was minimal. Good job.
