They came and fixed the problem, and they did a good job.

They were good. They were responsive and we enjoyed using them. We would use them again for future work if we have any more electrical services that we needed to have done.

They were very professional, nice, and easy to work with.

They honored an Angie's List new customer discount, which was great. The 2 gentlemen that came out were very professional and nice.

I contacted PK Electric to get an estimate on installing two interior wall cable TV outlets (the cable company will only do exterior walls and we didn't want cables running across our floor). They don't give estimates, but gave me an hourly rate and a rough estimate of how much time the job would take. They were able to give us an appointment for the following week, which was great. The technician arrived later than expected, but called to let us know that he was delayed. However, when he arrived he said that he needed to go to the store to buy some equipment (a cable cutter) that he didn't have on the truck, which was strange considering they knew they were booked to route cable through our house. He returned a short while later and reassessed the job, but determined that he wouldn't be able to install one of the interior outlets on the wall that we wanted due to some duct work, so we decided to just go with an exterior wall for that one. While the technician was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and did the job that we asked in the time allotted, we were somewhat disappointed with the final product. Apparently, it was our responsibility to seal any holes that were drilled where the cable was routed (including the holes in the exterior of our home) and to go purchase a router that would accommodate our additional cable lines (for that he'd have to charge the time that it took him to go to the store to get one). While he did clean up most of the mess that was made during installation, there was still some cleaning left to do after he left, including vacuuming and the disposal of a large box of coaxial cable that was left behind. An item on the top shelf of a closet was damaged during drilling and a few walls were left scraped and in need of paint touch-ups. Additionally, the cable that was routed outside of our house could have been hidden beneath our deck, but instead was routed just at eye level, above it. Again, the job was performed on time, but we ended up paying for an exterior hookup that the cable company would have done for free (our bad) and attention to detail throughout the job seemed to be missing.

We had just bought a new old house and we needed some work done. They came out and ran a box up to the attic space to bypass the old knob and tube wiring. John installed the can lights and they helped me install a radiant heat system that goes between the carpet and the pad. Unfortunately, he ran the wrong power to the system and overloaded one of the heating panels. John quickly called the company and ordered a replacement at PK's expense, which was delivered the next week. John came back out and reinstalled the panel. He was extremely contrite, and assured me I would not be charged for the mistake. The owner, Andy, even offered to have the carpet company to re-tuck the carpet, which turned out to be unnecessary. For the 2nd visit, Dave came out to rewire a light in a bathroom we were remodeling, moved a switch closer to the mirror, and moved an electrical box to accommodate a stackable dryer we had bought. He did everything as promised, and even moved the dryer onto the washer for me!

There were a few glitches in the beginning (e.g. I had emailed the company a list of the six things I wanted done but when the electrician arrived at the house the tenants had a list of 13 things for him to do, meaning 7 items were not authorized by me nor my responsibility but the electrician didn't realize that and started in on their list; I had explained over the phone that I wanted to minimize expenses and not buy parts I already had, but when I arrived the electrician was off at the store buying parts that I was bringing over). However, Michelle in the office handled it well and straightened everything out so that I, the customer, was very satisfied. I would call this company strongly customer-oriented.

They went back to the shop and picked up the wrong transformer and then they had to order the part and I think they did a good job and I would use the company again.

First visit: can't remember the electrician's name, which is a shame as he was quite amusing in addition to being a fast worker. Also good with consumer education. We knew which outlet was the problem, so this was a fast visit. Second visit: John came out and within 20 minutes he had checked a bunch of outlets in our bedroom and crawled through the attic over the bedroom to inspect access to the wiring. In the next 30 minutes he checked more outlets, decided we might just need new wiring, and explained how that would be installed. But in the next 10 minutes he instead thought to check some outlets in another bedroom, found a bad one on the same circuit (correct term?), replaced it and got the whole problem fixed without doing new wiring. John was friendly but very professional and efficient. Both times the work was done the next day after my call to the company. I will use them again to upgrade some lighting in our house this summer.

The company was very responsive in scheduling an appointment to give me a bid and following up with a written estimate. The electricians who did the work were very polite and professional and finished the job in a shorter time than the estimate. Overall the process was excellent and the job cost about $300 less than the original estimate.

At first we did not have a good experience with this company, as the electrician they sent out was clearly not very confident about what he was doing and took a really long time (and didn't even finish everything---was supposed to come back the next day but never did?!). Sure enough, we found out later from the company that he was new (and we were his first job!) and quit almost immediately after working at our home. While PK Electric did send someone else out (who was very efficient and knowledgeable), we felt they should have called sooner (as opposed to about 2 weeks later) to apologize for our unfinished work by the first electrician. Anyway.....PK Electric did send someone else out as stated above and did not charge us extra for their time. And so....we may or may not use PK Electric again, but make sure they send someone out who has been employed with them for a while (certainly not their first day on the job, anyway).

I had used them before and was happy with the service. When I called this time I asked for the same person. They said they had let him go. They sent a new person who was also skilled. But they charged a lot just to install new outlet. They had even promised to give someone close by to keep travel charges low. The charge seemed outrageous. The provider told me that he had been doing this so long that he was getting bored with the job.

Quick response; on-time; reasonable price; very happy with service.

They arrived on time, did excellent work and explained everything.

It went very well. They were prompt and professional. They got the job done in roughly two and a half hours. One of the fans ended up being way too loud and they came out and helped me replace it at no extra charge. I will definitely hire them again.

It went well. Any concerns on my part were quickly answered & resolved. I am really pleased with this company.

Pk Electric was the first electric company in eight to answer their phone. The lady on the phone spent a great deal of time with me trouble shooting to avoid sending a electrician out unnecessarily. When the problem could not be resolved via phone she than offered to send out an electrician first thing the next morning or alternatively the following afternoon. I was not able to be at home at those times and was leaving town immediately afterwards. Additionally, I live a good 25 miles from their office and thought I should keep trying to locate someone closer to reduce travel expenses. I decided to put the fix on hold but was very pleased with the efforts put forth in PK's interest to meet my needs and solve my problem. I could not have asked for more. Very professional.

I called PK Electric because of the recommendations on Angie's list. What a mistake! Dale the electrician sent by PK came over on a Friday. It was my understanding that he would be there the entire day to finish up my work, but only had half a day to give me. He told me he would come the next day (a Saturday) to work. Unfortunately, I had to leave while he was there and came home to find that he had damaged the wall by an outlet he had worked on. When I called him, he said that a lot of work needed to be done under my island but he wasn't' sure when he would be back to do it. I spoke with Andy Toth, the owner, the next day to discuss updating the bid, schedule the work and express my concern about the wall damage. Andy got very defensive about the wall complaint and insinuated that if "that was the way I was going to be about everything" they didn't want the job. After I 'talked him down', he said he would call Monday with an new bid and to schedule the work. He never called.

Very well. They were flexible to accommodate changes. Sometimes they were a little late and had to leave early so the job took a little longer than expected. I wished they would have discussed options for the work. There were things I found out after the job was done. E.g., they won't run a bathroom vent duct because that is HVAC. I still have to run the vent and probably do it myself. They told me how to do it, but couldn't do it. I thought the price included venting the fan to the outside. I didn't know to ask the question. There were other examples of this. I had Greenlake add bath fans and they did the whole job. All in all, these guys were very good and treated me well. The electrician stayed late one evening to show me how to get my generator on line. He was very helpful. They cleaned up very well after their work (drywall dust, etc.), took their shoes off in the house.

Called PK; excellent customer service. I spoke to the electrician directly over the phone, explained my situation (inoperable heaters), and was able to get a rough estimate over the phone. PK Electric's scheduler was friendly and efficient; my appointment was booked. The day of they were about an 1.5 hours late, but PK had called and forewarned me. Once they arrived professional, timely and cleaned up after themselves, and they were within their estimate.

They were real flexible. He estimated the job and was much more affordable than other quotes I received.

The electrician was polite, friendly but business-like. He did not charge us for travel, even though that is the policy of the company.

They did a good job and I would use them again.

Installation went well. Very professional and courteous.They were patient with us while we finished texturing and painting before they returned to install the can lighting trims. One of the closet switches that they installed didn't work. I found this out a month after they finished, because I didn't get around to hooking up the closet light that I bought elsewhere. But it probably wasn't their fault since they hooked into an existing line with a bad neutral. Michelle promptly sent James out to troubleshoot. He found the problem quickly and fixed it. A+.

When he originally came out to do the estimate, he kept giving me the run around, and I had to call in to get the estimate. The bill was $200 more than the estimate we agreed on. When I questioned it, she got very angry, even though I explained that he took 2 hours, and she was charging me for 4 hours. She started making nasty, rude comments when I asked for a new bill to be mailed to me. I will not use their service in the future.
