PK Electric

I lost the power one day in my bedroom. I called PK and a someone came to my home the next morning. He was very polite and very professional. He found that one outlet had died in the circuit, resulting in the circuit not working. After replacing the outlet, power was restored to the bedroom. He also helped me with an outlet that had stopped working a year ago....after I replaced a switch in the adjacent room and capped off a wire I had no idea what to do with. He rewired the switch correctly which resulted in a now functioning outlet. He also replaced five outlets for me.

Contacted PK through their ad in the Angie's List magazine. We had called another electrician we had used in the past, but though I talked to the secretary twice and she promised to have a serviceman call me, he called once when we were not at home, didn't leave a number and never called again. Since we only had the two fixtures to install, I knew most electrical services would not be interested in coming out, but PK lived up to its ad of "No job too small." The secretary was friendly and set up an appointment for us the following week. The serviceman called when he was going to be late and then arrived when he had promised. He changed out the fixtures quickly and was friendly and helpful. We had asked about a repair of a swag lamp in our living room and he looked at it, but said that he could not make the necessary repairs and recommended we take it to a light store. We also got the 10% Angie's List discount they advertised.

Showed up on time, and completed job as promised, at the price estimated. Office staff was always helpful and friendly. Second time we have employed this firm, would do so again.

They were very professional, kind and courteous and explained things.

Appt. was for 7:30am. At 7:45 the electrician was not here so I called the office. The electrician had gone to another appt. And when I was asked if I could re-schedule for Monday-I said NO, I had taken the day off for service-when asked can the appt. be later that day I said No, I had another appt. The coordinator had someone out to my house within 30 minutes. That's great service.Work was done efficiently-electrician was very thorough and thoughtful of the area. Done within the time frame quoted. I would use them again.

Great. This company honored their pricing estimate from about a year and a half before the work was actually done. The guy they sent to do the estimate was very helpful since I wasn't totally sure what I wanted! The workers they sent were awesome...Eugene and Don...will definitely ask for them again. Eugene explained how to patch what little damage had to be done to the drywall, and then he actually did most of it himself when he (probably) realized how unlikely I would be to remember the instructions! *chuckle* Probably saved me hundreds of dollars in repair work.

Well, I spoke to a woman on the phone about having someone come out to give me a quote on landcape lighting and security lighting. At the end of the call she let me know I would be charged for the consultation. I had her explain why and the response didn't fly with me, so I didn't hire them. I've NEVER had anyone charge me for a consultation and quote in all the years I've owned three homes. I've since hired another company to do the work.

They removed some old electrical fixtures and installed a new light fixture in the bathroom. They were good. They did a good job. When the guy came out to do the estimates, he was knowledgeable and gave me some suggestions and ideas. He told me that there were a couple of different ways to do the project. They were straightforward and they gave me a discount. The work cost me around $300. They were good to deal with. I would use them again in the future.

Overall it went great. An electrician and apprentice arrived roughly on time. They installed a junction box in the basement ceiling to union all for wire leads together and then wired from that back to the service panel, and up to the thermostat in the wall on the first floor. They took 15 to 30 minutes longer than estimated, but were thorough in testing the thermostat unit and they programmed it for me. They were friendly and business-like. They had a respectful rapport with me and with each other. They asked questions when necessary. And they were clean and did good work.

The electrician was punctual and tried very hard to run a new line from the panel to the bathroom. Unfortunately due to space constraints in the attic this wasn't viable and so I suggested that he run the line in the wall behind my washer and dryer units, which he did. Another electrician also came on-site to help for the last 15 minutes and I was not charged for his time.

Came same day I called to look at the work needed. Phoned me with an estimate and did the job a few days after that. A week from initial phone call to completion of job

They were excellent. They removed an old ceiling fan and installed a new one. They put some covers on our outside electrical outlets. We have a generator. We are getting some sort of a transfer switch so that we can connect to our electrical box quickly. We will eventually use that and tie our generator in more efficiently to our home. They will be helping us with this job. They will be coming out this week to install some parts which will make it easier to use our generator. I was very impressed about the way they called in and set up the appointment both from a professional standpoint and how responsive they were; how long it took them to come out. They were very courteous.

We had an outlet which wasn?t working so we called them called them up and they didn?t show up for their scheduled time. We called them and they send somebody out a couple of hours after their scheduled appointment time. It turned out to be a simple job. He just had to push a button there and the outlet was working but they charged us for a full hour. So we used them for adding another outlet which cost us a little bit more. They were here for 1 hour and 15 minutes and added one outlet. What surprised me was that they showed up very late and they did not clean up anything. It wasn?t a greatest experience.

Everything about them was good. They were responsive and professional. The price was good.

They were very good, prompt and professional. They did a good job as well. If need be, then I would definitely use their services in the future and they would be the first one's who I would contact.

Receptionist was friendly and helpful and I was able to get an appointment set up for 3 days after my call. Electrician was prompt and courteous and told me exactly what he was going to do and what the estimate would be based on the outcome. I would definitely use PK again.

The work turned out to be more challenging than typical due to unexpected wall and floor construction in this very old house, but the PK electricians were up to the challenge and resolved the problems as quickly as possible. They were a pleasure to work with and I'd definitely use this company again.

The person who answered the phone was very professional and had a lot of integrity. She explained the cost would include drive time and just to show up to the house would incur a $90 expense. She recommended we contact another electrician closer to our home, which we did and we were so very pleased with the second choice that we'll use them for future electrical service requests.

We loved PK Electric's customer service and work. We are going to use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing professional electrical work done.

All of the work was done with dispatch and efficiency, This was my second use of PK Electric and I would recommend them highly based on my experience.

Scott arrived a bit early. He called to make sure I was available. When he came in he removed his shoes. He explained what he would do and answered my questions along the way. He was very nice and professional. I would call him again in a heartbeat. All of my bathroom outlets now work and I could not be happier. Scott inadvertently broke the mirrored receptacle cover in one bathroom but promised to replace it at no charge.

It has been a good experience so far and I am happy with their work.

Two electricians showed up exactly on time, were unfailingly polite, finished faster than expected, were nice to the little boy, took their shoes off without asking, were friendly without being overly chatty.... Oh, and the bill was lower than estimated. What else do I need to say...
