Amazing work and super fast! I asked them for a quote and they were able to come out the next day. He said it would take about 2 hours, but he was done in less than half that time (while keeping the house and the room super clean). I received 2 other quotes for this project that were around $200 more than what Ron asked for. If we have any future drywall repairs, he's the first person I'm calling. Thanks, Ron!

Ron was responsive and reliable, but most of all, quick! We were able to coordinate the job over text and get it done over the course of a few days. The work looks great; all we have to do now is paint over the area and Ron even made sure to match the wall texture so we're ready to do it. Would hire again!

All the characteristics that they described themselves (integrity, honesty, and friendliness) were all communicated. Ron arrived and provided an estimate on the spot while also being very flexible according to the scheduling. His guys arrived and installed the sheetrock which was a process considering the many angles of sanding my space needed. All in all, they are worthy of the positive reviews and I am more than willing to refer them to any of my friends who need sheetrock services.

I was very happy with Ron and his team. We hired Ron Co to install drywall throughout our basement walls and ceiling and add texture. Here are the top 4 things we liked about Ron Co: 1. Punctual: Ron was on time every day and worked hard to get the job done as promised 2. Professionalism: Ron was a professional through and through from the initial estimate, walking me through how the job will be performed, and staying on time and on budget. 3. Great work: Ron's team did a fantastic job and was even able to blend the texture to match our other drywall (which was from the early 1980's). You can't even tell that he did patch work and added new drywall. Super happy here 4. Trustworthy: Ron takes pride in his work and his business and always made sure my wife and I were comfortable throughout the process. Thank you Ron Co!

Ron Co. did an excellent job of repairing various small holes in walls and ceilings. When Ron came to give us a bid, we had made a list of everything we wanted done. As the professional he is, he pointed out other places that we hadn't noticed, without increasing the price. Miles was the worker who did the job. He did a very professional job and he was pleasant to have around. He arrived on time and completed the job within the time that was promised. I highly recommend Ron Co. for any drywall work you may need. Reasonable prices and quality workmanship.

Ron and his wife showed up on time and quickly got to work. They covered all floors they walked on. They contained the sheetrock dust to the areas where they worked, so there was not a mess to clean up. You cannot tell the ceilings were patched. Texture matches perfectly. I will have more drywall work and I will call Ron and his wife to do the work again.

It took a week to get the house prepped, the popcorn removed, and the ceiling painted. The process was pretty much as described. There were a few communication things that were easily fixed - they always called back quickly if there was a question and they'd already gone for the day. It's a dusty process that took a week, but that's exactly what they said it would be. They said we'd want to touch up the wall paint at the ceiling (as our ceiling now appears a fraction of an inch higher than it used to), and we did need to do that (and they guy they recommended did a great, inexpensive job). Everything went as planned and they did a great job.

Ron and Tracy came to our home to fix a broken ceiling drywall. They responded almost almost instantly and showed up on-time for both the estimate and the repair the next day. They were very professional and the price was very reasonable. While they were here, they also fixed a couple of other drywall problems that were somehow overdue for us. The job was done just right - it was good as new. We were very happy. Would hire again.

Due to a schedule slide we were forced to move the scheduled start date for Ron several times. He was always very responsive, communicative, and more flexible than I would have expected. He started in the morning and he was there promptly at 7:10 for a 7:15 committed start time. They were courteous and clean (within the expected mess of drywall and texture). They did an amazing/fast job matching 30 year old knock down, hanging new Sheetrock, and retexturing a larger ceiling area from knockdown to match the kitchen orange-peel. The price was very good when compared to other quotes (as a DIY person it stings a little to pay for the expertise). If I have additional drywall needs I will 100% hire Ron Co. again.

poorly. ron's famous words: don't worry, the paint will cover that. ron sent over one of his guys to do the cost estimate. i solicited bids from about 10 companies via angieslist. ron's measuring method was the simplest: count the number of studs and floor joists and come up with a low number. then, after sinking the hook with a lower price than his competitors, he personally comes over to "verify" his estimate and haggle up the price. i had some things i was considering adding/removing (5/8" vs 1/2" drywall, resilient channel, etc), so there was still flexibility. here's the bottom line: when you need to add an item, it's very expensive, hard, and difficult. but, when you remove that same item, it's a small thing and doesn't really cost that much. ron had two guys come to install the sheetrock. they were late and i never had communication from ron when they would arrive. some of us have to go to work, right? can't just wait around the house for a crew to show up at a random time... anyway, these guys were fine enough and worked two long days. they shortcutted a couple areas and instead of planing the framing surface with cardboard shims, they just bent the drywall. this particular item was one thing i pointed out to ron at the time he bid as being very important to me. the previously installed drywall looked horrible and wavy and i figured it was due to the framing. therefore, i wanted to make sure he shimmed as necessary to provide flat surfaces. he said: "we don't just slap stuff up; we make it right." sure............... a few days later, ron, his wife (?) and another guy show up to mud. it takes them about 6 hours that first day to tape and do the first coat. pretty good time in my estimate. next day, another half day. third day, sanding. they sand everything down, and then clean up. supposedly the job is done. did i mention they splattered drywall mud everywhere over my subfloor? such a shame. i've remodeled the entirety of my 1979 house. there was not one area where there was drywall mud on the subfloor or on the concrete basement floor. it was like new. now, ron and co come in and slather mud everywhere and opt to mop it up. now, i'm not sure what standard industry practice is, but i'm pretty sure if i was doing it, i'd go to the store, buy a few $5 rolls of HD paper, and lay it down over everything. why? well, way faster cleanup. material cost <<< labor cost. and, most importantly, it's the professional thing to do. anyway, the mud is dry and sanded. i go down, vacuum everything one more time, and get ready to prep for applying a drywall primer/sealer. low and behold there are about 300 spots where there are deep scratches, nicks, or areas where the tape is bubbling. really, the tape. i thought this was a pro-job? oh, i'm pretty sure, but not positive, ron was the one operating the bazooka to apply the tape. lets, see, what else? oh, nearly all interior corners (like where wall meets ceiling or walls make an inside corner) are oversanded and gouged out. so, if you put a straightedge on the wall you'll see gaps at the corners. further, where the horizontal factory edge seams meet, there a bulges or depressions here too. this is the spot where a true mudder is supposed to excel. guess not. i marked all the trouble spots with blue painters tape, called ron (voice mail) and emailed him; i was quite unhappy (and delayed on my project which was the most frustrating part). eventually he got back and sent his guy out for touchups. the catch is that he only budgeted for his guy to be out for an hour. well, he needed about 3. he rushed, but picked up most of my marks. there are still a few spots with bubbling tape. hopefully they don't start popping off in the future. oh yeah, they splattered mud on my doors, stairs, and finished handrail. "don't worry, you can just wash that off", ron said. excellent customer service! in the areas they skim coated over old drywall, they must not have cleaned the old stuff and i have lots of pimple marks on the skimming. excellent work. and, they even skim coated areas i specifically told them not too, and put drywall on one of my door openings (and corner bead), so this screwed up my finished opening size for my bifold door which i preordered due to long lead times. i had to cut the door size down to fit the opening. in the end, i think they spent 80 hours of labor. when i priced out materials, including sheetrock, mud, and screws, i ended up around $1500. if you assume $25/hr for labor, that's $1600. i paid $5400, so ron must've pocketed about $2300 on this job. i guess when you rush in, hammer it out, and don't care about results, you can be extra profitable. i have DIY'd just about everything in my house. i worked as a carpenter for 8 years while in high school and college. i'm a structural engineer. i know what's going on and when it's wrong. this was a poor quality job even though ron kept telling me just how great it looked. i have a discerning eye and many do not. the problems i mention might never be noticed by some/most(?), so if you're shopping on price alone and something like the above experience sounds tolerable to you, by all means, go for it!

Ron is the owner of the business and he is personally on site working with his crew. He's on time, fair priced, clean and works hard. He's almost become part of the family, because he's been working on the project for 3 weeks. He's honest, and easy to work with. He knows what he's doing. We were concerned about sound proofing the basement and he made a recommendations that were more affordable. We are happy we went chose what he recommended. I've had other drywall business before and would cry because they didn't know what they were doing. There were waves in the ceiling. Ron's work is outstanding. We will be hiring him again on future projects. The picture below was in the middle of the project. I don't have any of the finished work yet. Thank you Ron for all your hard work. =)

I highly recommend Ron Co. He and his wife were very personable, prompt, and communicated well throughout the project by phone, text and email. The price was very fair. Miles did most of the work and went above and beyond. The transformation from a basement storage area to a rentable apartment was truly magnificent. Miles was also very personable, prompt and very good at communicating with me throughout. They were great!
Description of Work: I had an older, partially finished basement dry-walled. Insulation was installed in both the ceiling and walls. New drywall was applied to both ceiling and wall framing. Sheetrock mud was applied over old existing plaster walls to keep a uniform appearance. Everything was then textured.

We tore it down quickly, and he raised our kitchen ceiling in a day! Amazing. Ron was super responsive, and a super nice guy overall (even though one of our 3 dogs constantly barked, he still pet her and calmed her). But his work is just awesome and he stands by it - you can just tell he cares about doing a great job. I'd go with him any day. And just the fact that he got it all up in a day was outstanding. He just knows what it takes and gets it done. He actually makes it seem so easy. The experience and quality is unbeatable and his pricing was, too. Huge thanks and high recommendations to this company. : )
Description of Work: We are remodeling our ridiculous outdated 80s small kitchen. The ceiling was a foot lower than the rest of the house. Ron Co Drywall was called to help raise it because I saw him featured in an Angie's list mailing article called "No Drama Drywall". Ron was super fast to come give us a bid and said just to let him know when we were ready to start. He was very flexible and able to fit us in and send a guy out even though they must have been busy with bigger projects like the other reviewer had written about who had a full house project in Seattle.

Found Ron on Angieslist. He responded to my call quickly. He was very professional. I sent him a few pictures of the damaged ceiling drywall (roughly 2' x 2') and give me a quote over the phone (his minimum trip charge rate). He had an opening within a few days and came out on time. He isolated the work area and kept the rest of the condo clean. The workmanship and quality was superb! I would hire him again!
