His employee Glenn did well, was pleasant and did a good job. We didn't have an estimate just agreed to be paid per hour and it took about 11.5 hours. Isn't $47.75 rather high? I think so.

When he was finished with job I notified him. I was unhappy with his work. He became defensive and had his lawyer send me papers demanding payment. My attorney contacted him and asked for my deposit back. He finally came to look so I could show him what I was unhappy about and said he would return my deposit, instead I received court order to small claims court which I countered and took photos and was awarded judgment. Scott was ordered to return my deposit.

Scott Griffin lead us on for almost a year. He kept saying he would come out and do the job but each time asked for more money to complete it. I had already paid him a deposit for the exterior paint job. He had painted the interior and had been paid in full. Each time he'd promise to come out and never did. He would finally agree to do the job but then never show up. When questioned he'd again ask for more money. He then stated at the end of summer that he would not be doing our paint job that he could get double doing jobs on Mercer Island and in Bellevue. It took 3 months to get our deposit back and even then it was only half what we paid him. I would NOT recommend anyone use Griffin Paint for any services as he is very unprofessional and not an honest person.

He had a crew of 2 here. One guy had not painted much, but the other guy AJ had. They were very nice and professional and mostly did a good job. When areas that were missed were pointed out to Scott he got defensive but took care of them. He never painted the exterior of our home. He kept promising over and over to do it. Each time there was contact he asked for more money to complete the job. Several times he stated how he can get more money on other jobs. He told me he wanted the high end homes of Mercer Island and Bellevue. He was not happy with the agreed upon price to do the exterior and finally after leading us on for months told us he would not be doing the job. We had already paid him a deposit in the fall of 2006 to paint the exterior the spring of 2007. July 17th was when he said he would not be showing up again.
