CABINET FX

Back in July 2007 Pete came out to see the job. At that time he took measurements and we talked extensively about different ways to approach the job. I liked him and due to the recommendations from Angie's List, I went ahead and didn't interview anyone else. As of yesterday, Nov. 18th the deposit will be returned due to his lack of attention to the start date of Nov. 19 and having nothing prepared. During all this time, I have been the one to get in touch with him to check on the start date, etc. He does always return my calls, but my feeling is that the business should contact the client with up-dates or anything involving the job. The price of the work was going to be $1851.05 and in good faith I sent $1000.00 as a deposit. He required only half. We are extremely disappointed that Pete was so irresponsible in all ways. We are even concerned that he may not return our $1000.00.

We had custom cabinets built with lap's wood. We had cabinets made for the kitchen, family room, entry, wine alcove and laundry room. Pete was very professional and detail oriented. He was very exacting in his measurements. He was very careful about checking out every detail. We decided, after the wine cabinets were delivered, to change the door detail and he was very prompt in taking care of them. His attention to detail was great. He does beautiful work!
