Description of Work: They rebuilt my chimney (about 3 feet of it coming out of the roof). Description of Work: They took a look at our chimney & firebox to see what repairs would be needed. Turns out it will need a complete teardown in the next couple years. For now we decided just to get the chimney (rain) cap installed. They did that for us and all is well for now. The estimator was really nice and seemed to really know what they were talking about. We'll likely be giving them $6 - $12k in the future.

Description of Work: Tuck-pointed exterior of stone house on west and south sides and rebuilt crown of fireplace. They were professional and thorough. Tuck-pointing is a very messy, dirty job but they did their best to contain the mess. Their estimate was right on target and they started and finished when they promised. I would recommend their services.

Description of Work: I bought a coupon on Angie's list. They came out and gave me the bid for the project. The meetings for the work went well and the bid was fair. We did have some miscommunication. Jerrod, the owner was trying to get me some better pricing with another supplier. Unfortunately he didn't carry the type of stone I wanted. We almost ended getting the wrong stone and straightening the problem out delayed our project by another 6-8 weeks. Once the stone arrived the work went well and thought Jerrod was really responsive and in close contact with his workers when he wasn't there working on the job himself. I would use Archstone again

Description of Work: Archstone cleaned and repaired all the brick work on my house, which was flaking and falling apart in many areas, and they cut a new door into the brick and infilled the brick around the new door to match perfectly with the rest of the house. They were very professional and did an amazing job. I was very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: Archstone removed all the mortar around my house where it connected to the foundation. It had holes and last summer some yellowjackets got in one spot and built a nest and came into my kitchen - around 200 of them before the problem was controlled! Now it is beautifully redone and any other holes from old cabling, etc. were also filled. On the second day they came and repaired several cracks - one big one that required removing bricks, replacing with new ones and making the wall look like new. I was very impressed with their work and their professionalism. I highly recommend them and will use them again when I move some windows and a door in my kitchen remodel - when I can afford to do it.

Description of Work: Archstone was prompt and did an excellent job. I am totally satisfied with my chimney repair and was shocked at how much lower cost they were able to do the job in. I literally received bids for as much as $13,000 for the work done, and my chimney looks perfect now. The work was so good that the old lady across the street who bought garage doors when she saw me get garage doors got a chimney repair a couple weeks later. Jerrod explained everything patiently and completely, the work was done on time for the exact price quoted, and I have no complaints. Their bid was almost too good be true... but that's the thing, it wasn't.

Description of Work: Unfortunately, Archstone was unable to provide its Big Deal service as my street address (as opposed to my PO Box) is outside Archstone's service area. However, they were tops as far as communication goes--courteous, clear, and prompt!

Description of Work: Everyone at Archstone Masonry was professional, courteous, and attentive. They called me back right away, answered all of our questions, came over within a reasonable time and gave us a bid. They replaced our chimney cap and crown, put a rain cover on and repaired the flashing. The workmanship was very good, they cleaned up everything, and showed my husband how to properly maintain our roofing system. Description of Work: We were very impressed with the quick response and the high quality job that Archstone Masonry provided. They gave a great bid and quickly got the job done - replacing the crown and three caps on the chimney, repaired a couple of courses on the chimney, removed two fireplace inserts and they enlarged a window in structural brick, removing five courses. We will definitely use them again in the future!

Description of Work: We had Archstone come out and redo our top half of our chimney and replace some damaged bricks below. The work was excellent and they were punctual and completed the job in one day. I would recommend Archstone to anybody needing Masonry work.

Description of Work: Installed 2 new stainless steel chimney caps, and repaired the masonry around the chimney. used Angie's list deal coupon to help defray the cost but a $300-400 project ballooned to almost $1000. Didn't anticipate that cost. But felt it was necessary at the time. Would use them again on future masonry repairs, they specialize in masonry more smother chimney cap installations.
