A AMERICAN SEPTIC

Spoke with the receptionist, who routed my call to Wally. I wanted to have the septic pumped out asap. All I had was a map from the Maricopa County Environmental Services that showed the approximate location of the tank. I know where the clean out ports were located. Never knew the location of the tank. I didnt know the capacity of the tank. Wally said that someone will be there around noon the same day. Wally found the capacity of the tank, online. He said it will be $600 for pumping a 2500 gal tank, $95 for cleaning the filter and $80 per hour for all other work. After I emailed a copy of the map that showed the location, he wanted Precision Locating, another business to locate the tank first. That adds $225 for locating the tank. Wally also wanted Blue stake to come out mark the property for buried wires, pipes etc. That makes me having to wait for 2 more days. I began to call around. Found another business Vets Septic, who were able to beat A American Septic, but had wait a day, which I didnt want to. More calls and I found Cooper Septic from Apache Junction. Their charges were $575 for pumping, $60 per hour for locating. Filter cleaned for no additional charge. They said that they dont have to do a Blue stake or call another locating service to find the tank. They will be able to come in about 3 hours. Jerry did, used my garden hose and a tool to locate the tank in less than an hour. Began pumping about half hour later. I saved $225 if I were to use locating service, $95 for cleaning filter and the best, no waiting. So shop around folks! There may be other businesses with less positive reviews, who can turn out to be economical.

One day before a big family gathering, our toilets all refused to flush. This company came on an emergency basis and pumped our septic tank - it was dark when they arrived - which solv3ed the problem. Family gathering saved!
