Outstanding service from start to finish

Manuel and Fidel did the job. Shay Barber did the bid on the job. Shay did not show up on the job site during the work. Manuel and Fidel are both superstars and very talented with workers. Shay is very fortunate to have both working for his company.

Shay responded immediately when I called with a large hole in my roof. He was able to fix it right away and inspected the whole roof for other problems.

Overall good experience, though had to fix a couple of minor roof leaks overlooked initially.

They did not show up for estimate. My husband waited over an hour after appointment but then left to go to work that he was late for originally waiting for them to get there.

Fast, comprehensive service. Excellent understanding of the urgency to have repair done asap. Knowledgeable and did not try to oversell.

Shay gave us a good diagnosis of the condition of a 45-year-old chimney sitting in the middle of the roof. He explained the problem areas and what repair was needed. We were given the cost in two days. The workman who worked on the chimney did a good and thorough job. I would use 1st Choice Home Construction if I needed a job a Do-It-Yourselfer like me could do.

Shay is lucky to have Manuel as an employee. He did an excellent job and left no mess. In 10 years when we need a new roof, this is who we'll contact!

Called 1st Choice Home Construction. Alex came to provide me an estimate for leak repair on my roof. Very nice guy. We agreed on the price with no problem. Scheduled appointment, however when the date arrived Alex didn t show up. Nobody emailed me and nobody called or let me or my family know about that. I called Alex back and asked about the appointment we had. He apologized and said he was busy and couldn t make it. Let s say i decided to ignore the fact that nobody let me know and i agreed to schedule another appointment. Alex didn t show up again. Nobody contacted me again. Just a reminder that all this time that i was trying to schedule time with Alex, our roof was still leaking. The only reason i gave them 2 stars and not one just because they actually came at least to provide an estimate. Can t say anything about the job they do, i didn t have a chance to see but i definitely can give them advice. Alex, if you want to have successful business, start from the Simplest and the most important thing , Customer Service. Good luck.
