 + -1 morePrices were extremely fair, competitive, team super professional and flexible. Their cleanup was great. I can't speak highly enough of them. They also did a hazard tree risk assessment as well. the owner stopped by multiple times to make sure things were done correctly and to check progress. It was a very large project.

 + -1 moreTwo of my neighbor's trees were hanging over my fence and dropping ripe fruit onto the roof of my arbor. Travis removed the offending branches so this would not happen, and also so my shrubs would get some sun. He also gave me some pointers about how to prune my Japanese maple so that it would look better and stay healthy. He checked my cedar tree, and recommended it be pruned next summer so it would not drop so many branches and pine needles onto my garden. I really appreciated his taking the time to educate me on things I could do to keep my trees in good shape. Travis removed a tree for my neighbor. She was also very pleased with his work.

Description of Work: I have a very large cedar tree that surrounds the front of my house and Trelstad ,as a certified arborist, has been keeping it trimmed for past years. This time I wanted a major clean out and trim back. | |The crew showed up "between jobs" and did a magnificent job on the tree which is thriving. At the end of the job there were now debris or evidence of work being done other than a vastly more open and thinner tree. | |I have seen trees butchered by "tree services" who think having climbing gear and saws are all they need to do business. Trelstad understands what can and cannot be done to maintain the health of the tree. They have all the equipment for the larger jobs but also do well with the smaller ones as well. | |Cannot recommend them more highly.

Description of Work: They removed two remaining vine maple tree sections that had rotted at the base and trimmed a big birch tree in my backyard. I had called them right before the first wind storm this fall; even though they were slammed with calls right after the storm, they called me back fairly promptly and came out to see the job. We agreed on work and price; it was cleanly done a few weeks later and they were here when they said they would be.

Description of Work: Removed two 60'+ birch trees, one that was hanging over our house and the other over the street. Ground down the birch stumps. Trimmed and removed large (12") branches from oak tree. Limbed up cedar trees to get more light in house.

 + -1 morePhenomenal skill in shaping trees and shrubs. The owner has a sculptor's aesthetic sense for the removal and trimming of branches and limbs. No 'hack jobs' here. They aren't cheap, but they are very good.

 + -1 moreIt took a few days to get a return phone call, but it went smoothly from there. When they arrived, I asked them to add a few more items which was done for a reasonable price. The team was very fast and did a great job.
Description of Work: Removed dying tree and removed limbs off of tree damaged in last winter's snow storm. Pruned hedge and other shrubs.

 + -1 moreAfter trying unsuccessfully to get several other companies to come out and give me bids, I called Trelstad. Bruce was professional and friendly and wrote me a bid right there and then. A large crew came out to do the work and finished it in a day. They did a terrific job with all the cutting and their cleanup was amazing.

 + -1 moreWe have gone through several services, and we found him. We liked the way he worked and we have been satisfied with his prices. He does good work. He is on time and very pleasant to be associated with. We are happy with him. We found that there is no reason to look elsewhere. He is a finely trained arborist, so we rely on him. They know what needs to be done with the trees. They are thorough and clean up after themselves. They make the trees healthy and safe.
Description of Work: He has done some tree trimming, and he has removed some trees. After a big storm a couple of years ago, he trimmed some trees and evaluated some trees to ensure that there wouldn’t be a storm hazard.

 + -1 moreIvan came and surveyed the yard. We covered what needed to be done and I was put on the list. They guesstimated 2 weeks but were here within the week. Other than the stumps being gone I would not have known they were here, very good clean up.
Description of Work: Trelstad grinded stumps and took away the excess. Excellent and earlier than anticipated! They are due back to remove Cottonwoods next.

Description of Work: A number of large fir trees were taken out, along with the stumps and a couple of other stumps that had been sitting for years. Cleaned up, hauled away. Only a bit of shavings scattered about. Life is good.

 + -1 moreThey are extremely fast and professional. They bring a large crew and a chipper and have the entire 1 acre wooded lot pruned in less than 6 hours. They clean up the trimmings and haul them all away in the chipper. The price is very fair.
Description of Work: Trelstad has performed my fall tree services every other year for the last 6 years. They prune over 20 trees, some of them extremely large, and have removed 3 trees for me as well.

 + -1 moreI was a little put off when I did not receive a phone call on Friday letting me know no one would be able to come that day. I was mollified by the call the next day, as he did take responsibility for dropping the ball. It seems to be the nature of the beast, however. Of the three companies that were to come by on Friday, only one actually showed up. Neither of the other two companies called that day.
Description of Work: On Monday I called to make an appointment for the following Friday to get an estimate. I was told the technician would ''come by after work'' to do an estimate. That Friday I called again to confirm the appointment and was told the same thing. No one called or came by. The technician did call on Saturday and was apologetic for not calling Friday. We have not yet met to get an estimate for the work.
