I needed help with a daunting number of things to do - empty and sort through boxes, organize garage and storage room. Carol showed up with boundless energy, terrific ideas, and obviously lots of experience. Over 3 days she created order, with labeled boxes, consolidated piles of camping equipment, and lots more usable space. For the first time in years I was able to put my car in the garage. I had a severely injured shoulder, and couldn't lift or move anything. Carol took over and had me stop trying to help her. All she needed from me was my decisions about what to keep and what to throw away. Carol Seppi is terrific at what she does. She works extremely quickly. After our first round, I scheduled her for 3 more days to complete more sorting and organizing. But she finished the job in less than a day. I plan on calling her again for help in downsizing before I move.

Carol is AMAZING - I have a cross country move coming up imminently and needed help with one aspect - cleaning out files I'd lugged around for years, scanning them and sorting/shredding. I had the equipment at my house, set her up in dining room and she went to town. Amazing work ethic, integrity and dedication - this is something I'd put off for 2 years and she cleaned out/scanned 4 huge file drawers in one setting. I worked in the background packing / cleaning out bookshelves and she even took stuff to Goodwill. Carol is punctual, friendly, personable and easy to get along with during what turned out to be 8 hour day! I have a lot of respect for her knowledge, experience and drive - I'm very excited to use her again in a few weeks when I come back to complete the move. Very happy I found her on Angie's List - what a lifesaver!

Carol was amazing and I cannot imagine what I would have done without her. She did in 6 hours what would have taken me a month to do on my own. I hired her completely on the strength of the Angie's List reviews. I have two very small children and had to organize my household for an out-of-state move. Some of our stuff was staying in storage in Seattle, some was moving, some to goodwill, some to the dump. Carol created a labeling system for all of our goods and packed all of our items going into storage. She also knew what Goodwill would take and what we needed to dump. Carol worked incredibly hard, going non-stop the entire day. She was more than worth the cost. She is also just a pleasant person to be around, which is important when you are spending a day with someone in your house. Tip: I found Carol easier to reach on cell phone than on email.

I'm sorry that you are dissatisfied with your garage. I have reached out to you numerous times since the day after we worked together, by telephone, e-mail and U.S. mail without any response from you. I knew there were a few things that you still wanted to be done and I wanted to schedule a time to complete the job with no additional charge. I would have appreciated talking with you when the work was done 2 1/2 months ago to resolve this situation. So far, this 11 1/2 hour day has cost you nothing since you have yet to pay me. Please keep in mind that I was on time that morning as well as the day of the consultation, I did go to the store of your choice without charge to check supplies; I also picked up bins you wanted from Costco and when they weren't used, I returned them, again on my own time. I took away hazardous waste and old cardboard. All with no charge. I adjusted off 2 hours of my time to try to get the bill down to my estimate. I billed you for $469. I offered to accept payments if that would have helped you, but you did not contact me. Instead you posted this poor review when I stepped up my attempts to collect your already adjusted past due bill. I have tried to be accommodating, but you have not responded at all. for free and I Therefore, since you have refused to contact me directly and refused to acknowledge or pay your bill, I am at a loss to find a resolution. The process went rather well. Because the weather was nice, we could basically empty the garage and place things in the driveway. Carol kept us on task and was very encouraging throughout the process. Cleaning your garage has always been a task that we put off. By hiring Carol, it forced us to do the project. She was a great resource person for questions on how to organize and to keep us on task. Remarkable, we were able to get a car parked in the garage! Now, we need to keep on top of it. But that's our issue!!!! :)
Description of Work: Carol came right on time and looked at the garage. Her first question: What was our goal for the project? Did we want to get a car parked in the garage? (Something that has not occurred in 13 years!). She then listened to us and formulated a plan to get us moving. The garage was better organized and she helped us take care of paint, fertilizers, etc.

I have been overwhelmed by my home office for over two years. I didn't know where to start organizing- or how. Too much stuff in too many places. I called Carol and she came out for a consultation and was not the least bit intimidated. She gave me a list of things I needed to purchase to help the organization flow- made some suggestions about where to put things and to bring some color into the room. A week later she came back - labeled everything, organized drawers and files-- and when she was done I could not believe how beautiful the room was and how incredibly organized it was! She is a little bundle of encouragement and energy and got the job done in record time. I am so impressed. I will be hiring Carol to tackle our next big projects. You cannot go wrong with her. Please keep in mind, we had 25+ years of accumulation that found its way into the garage AND items from a second household. LOTS of stored paint, lawn chemicals, various household cleaning supplies, broken down household items, and yard equipment. It was overwhelming to go into the garage and plan where to start. Carol Seppi came out, spent time looking the garage over and laid out her plan to clean and organize our garage. In one day, all the hazardous chemicals, paint, metal, garbage, broken down items, and charity donations were delivered to proper facilities. Peg boards put up, metal shelving erected for storage, and the garage swept clean. She brought another person to help and between the two of them, it was all done in one day. I highly recommend her. It was worth every cent to be able to go into the garage and find anything quickly. What would have taken us months to do ourselves, she and her associate did in one day.

I had planned for an original time frame of 6 hours. Because of the huge mess left from the horrible rat infestation, she stayed extra to get the job I had hired her for completed. Courteous, efficient and professional. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

At first I was skeptical, not of Carol, but that our goals could be accomplished in just 2 days. Well I was happily amazed with the results! Carol worked non-stop! She has amazing energy and such a positive spirit, which is really needed when people are perhaps struggling with getting rid of stuff and organizing. She had great ideas for us too which were much appreciated. My husband and I would definitely hire Carol again and suggest that you do.
Description of Work: Carol visited our home for an assessment and goal setting session. After giving her evaluation and ideas, we agreed on a plan and she gave us some homework to accomplish before our big clean up. Carol spent an entire weekend with us helping to clean and organize our garages.

We initially met with Carol to have her look at all of my father-in-law's belongings to give us an estimate. My FIL has quite a bit of books, kitchen supplies, and papers. Additionally, he is a very particular person and cannot be rushed. Carol was very professional and while she was late, she called me to let me know that she was running a little bit behind. Not a big deal. We got a deal since this was the first time we used her services and it was through Angie's List. We planned on having two people there (including Carol) to pack the house, and then she would unpack a few days later at my FIL's new house. She purchased the boxes for us (which we paid for later) and brought them with her on packing day. While we were the ones that paid for her services, we were not there during the packing and unpacking days, however, my FIL has nothing but GREAT things to say about Carol. From my standpoint, she did a great job packing a very large amount of "stuff" while also handling my FIL's stodgy personality without any problems. She also got along perfectly with my FIL's dog. The only reason that I gave a "B" on price instead of an "A" is that she definitely underestimated the amount of time it would take to pack up and unpack his stuff. She had thrown out a figure of about 10 hours for her to pack everything on her own. It ended up taking 17 hours total to pack between the two of them. She also was unable to unpack everything. While the price difference didn't really bother me as I assumed that it would take longer because my FIL has an enormous amount of stuff that he can't seem to part with, I would have appreciated a slightly more accurate estimate. That being said, the overall experience was incredibly positive. I would recommend her to anyone and if I have a need for organizational or packing help in the future, I will definitely contact Carol.

Carol is efficient, dynamic, and knowledgeable. Her tips and advice were priceless. She did all the heavy lifting and kept things moving right along. An talented and outstanding person in every way. Every thing was sorted and divided into piles for loading out. She consolidated items to remain and repacked them into the remaining empty containers whose original contents were to be dumped. She inventoried and listed the items remaining. She then loaded her truck and cleaned the floor before she left. I was totally impressed by her work, her thoroughness, and her cleanup. Exceptional performance. She was very pleasant to work with and I would use her again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Carol arrived on time and we went immediately to work sorting through all the stuff in the garage. This consisted of going through all stacks of stuff, boxes on shelves and on the floor, and identifying items to be donated or outright junked. This took about 3.5 hours. Then I went inside and she finished the job, loading the garbage and donations into her truck. I checked her work and she took off.

I had read great reviews of Carol, but she went beyond my expectations. My husband also appreciated her services very much. Carol was very punctual, full of energy and great tips. She is also a delight to work with : funny, friendly and never bossy! Carol helped us organize our garage for 2 days, using her truck to take loads to the dump and the Good Will. She is so efficient and strong! There is no way we could have done any of this without her. We will call her back for any other work we will need. They came in and gave an estimate. I hired them. They quoted me $110/ hour. Carol the owner fell off a horse and sent someone else in her place. They said it would be 3 or 4 hours. They said that they would give me a conservative estimate of 6 hours. One person showed up 30 minutes late and I got charged for her being there the entire time. They brought in some 5 bins and charged me for 8 bins. They charged me for dumping and donating. I thought this was all inclusive in the $110 per hour. They only got one section of the garage done. I will never hire them again. They were very personable but they were very slow and didn't get much done. When you pay people that much, you expect top of the line services. The areas they cleaned up was done nicely but they were very slow.

My garage floor could not be seen. We could not find anything that went into the garage, once it went in, I would never see it again. I did not know where to begin. Carol came in and did not stop until a place was found for everything and nothing was kept that was not needed. Carol has "so" mush energy and is a delight to work with!

It was a great experience working with Carol. She is professional, energetic, friendly, and most importantly - good at her job! This is why I'd recommend her to anyone: 1) She's easy to work with. She can organize by herself or with you. I choose to organize with her and it went very smoothly. 2) She brings all the organizing supplies and you choose what you want to buy and use. She took measurements during the consultation and brought great options - just another way she makes it easier for the customer. 3) After a long day of work, we loaded all the items for donation, the dump and recycling into her truck. She does the drop off - now that's full service! 4) She coordinated the install of 2 garage ceiling racks which worked out awesome. 5) She knows her stuff - I am a very organized person already. She was able to provide great tips on how to maximize the use of space, which even if you are organized, doesn't mean you know how to do. It was well worth it to call in a professional to help with my project. If you are thinking of hiring an organizer - don't hesitate to call Carol!

Carol was prompt, professional, personable and a dynamo of energy. She came to my house and listened to my concerns for my upcoming move. With a full time job and health issues I was becoming very stressed about getting my household packed and ready to go in time for my move. Carol estimated that she could get the majority of the work done in a day and she did exactly as promissed. She came prepared, organized and packed 80% of my two bedroom condo in one marathon 10 hour day and left us much closer to ready to move. The remaining 20% was left unpacked at my request as we still have 10 days till the move. I would definitely use Organization Unlimited again.
