Description of Work: Carol is such a great lady! She is efficient, fast, and super helpful. There's no way I could have tackled my mess of an office without her help. Now I have a super clean home office, and she inspired me to pick up other areas of my home, too. She went above and beyond in helping me get a ton of paperwork under control, and even dropped off stuff to Goodwill for me! I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She's the best! :)

What a great experience! Carol and Wendy showed up on time--9 am--and went right to work. As agreed, they consulted with my husband and myself when not sure about what to do with items, and they were done on time. The job was estimated to last from 6-8 hours and it was complete after 7 1/2 hours, leaving enough time to get to the dump before it closed. The garage looked even better than when we moved in 24 years ago, with a place for everything now! Carol brought along a labeling machine and everything is labeled, most items are in clear boxes, gardening tools hanging on individual hooks, and lots of tools are hanging on a huge pegboard, with infrequently used items stored in the rafters. And for the first time in years, there is plenty of room for both my husband's and my medium and large size vehicles to fit in the garage at the same time! Carol and Wendy were a pleasure to be around--hard workers--but pleasant and fun at the same time, and we have already referred them to two other families.
Description of Work: Carol and her assistant, Wendy, cleaned out and reorganized the garage, itemized donations and took to Goodwill, took garbage to dump, purchased storage supplies and returned unused ones to several stores.

FANTASTIC! Carol is punctual and lets you know if traffic is causing any delays. She works very efficiently - I couldn't believe how much we got done some days. Our garage was a disaster and Carol got it in great shape in just one day! She's fun to work with and very encouraging. When you get stuck on a certain area, she dives in and helps you keep things moving. Nothing is too big or small for her to tackle. She organized our pantry in only a few hours. We are still able to keep it organized thanks to how logically she arranged everything. Most of the work that I did with Carol came after our newborn daughter arrived home. I was so tired from middle of the night feedings that most days it was all I could do to care for our daughter and maybe get a shower. I couldn't believe how much work I got done on the days that Carol was at our house. Her positive energy and enthusiasm are contagious. I wish I could work with her every month! I really can't recommend Carol highly enough.
Description of Work: I was lucky enough to work with Carol several days over a period of months organizing various rooms in our house. Carol helped to organize our garage, kitchen, office and closets. Her hourly rates are very competitive. I checked with other organizers before hiring Carol and her rates were the best.

I was moving in with my fiancée, combining two full households. Over the years I had accumulated a lot of "stuff" that was important to me but I couldn't take it all. Every time I tried to spend time packing I became overwhelmed with the task and couldn't get much done. Then I had shoulder surgery that left me with limited arm movement. Carol was wonderful! She came in and went room to room with me, pulling out drawers, opening doors, as I indicated what needed to be packed and what didn't. She packed each box in an organized fashion, labeled each one in detail and carried them to our "staging area" where they would be easy to load into a moving van, Without the emotion and memories attached to the items, she packed more in 8 hours than I had managed to pack in 7 months! I'm going to have her organize our garage next as my fiancée is as much a pack rat as I am.

After having read so many glowing responses regarding this company, I didn't hesitate to contact her as my garage has taken on a life of it's own. Unfortunately, after a few attempts to do so went UNANSWERED, I had decided that even if she had gotten back to me that I would not use her services. If you choose to contact her company; I hope you have better results than I did. To this date, I have yet to hear back from her. Terrible image for the company in my opinion.

I pride myself on returning phone calls promptly. I check for messages in the morning before I leave and again as soon as I get home. I also have my cell phone on and with me all day so that if anyone needs to reach me immediately, they can do so. I have no record of any calls or messages received from you at either number. Carol is exceptional, fast and very professional.
Description of Work: Carol came to our home and the two of us spend 4 full days purging "stuff". She also helped organize all of our drawers and china cabinet. She also made a few goodwill and dump runs on our behalf. She is excellent at what she does and works extremely fast so you get so much more done then you ever expected. She takes charge and has a wonderful sense of humor, making it fun! She's coming over next month to help with more things, I'm excited! :)

I had never worked with a professional organizer before, and was a little nervous. There was NO reason to be - Carol was just wonderful. She is smart, energetic, and got more done in 5 hours than we would have gotten done in a week! We never, ever felt judged for the sorry state of our house (we just moved from Northern Cal) or the amount of craft supplies I've accumulated. She should add personal trainer to her list of accomplishments, because not only did we get our spare room back and our mountain of boxes and paper hauled away, we got an excellent aerobic workout! I will definitely be putting myself in Carol's capable hands again soon. Next up: the kitchen!

Such a pleasure to work with Carol - she helped me on several projects over a few days around the house and lit the fire to get others completed as well. We tackled together the home office, craft room, some closets and the garage. The garage looks great! She was worth every penny spent. Will be calling again if something comes up.

Carol was wonderful! She arrived right on time and ready to dive in. We assessed the projects around the house that remain since our move and rennovation. After evaluating the various tasks we headed to get a few items for office organization. From assembling misc. to getting a handle on misc. needs she was great! Already scheduled a return date :)

Carol is an organizational whirlwind. She is an extrememly focused and hard worker. She is fast and efficient. The best part is that she really "gets" the reasons people haven't managed to get jobs like our garage overhaul done themselves: It overwhelms them. They have attachments to stuff they are never going to use. It's a big job and they lose steam. Carol manages these emotional aspects with remarkable skill. When I got to overwhelming moments, she sent me "on break" to recover. In the meantime, she "caught up." She was here 7.5 hours. During that time, we filled her very large truck once for a dump run and a second time for a Goodwill run. The garage is now a useful space for our family. Weird as it sounds, I feel emotionally "lighter." I'vebeen meaning to get this job done for several years now and somehow in one day, it was accomplished! Carol was born to do this work.
Description of Work: Our garage was a disaster. (We built our house 10 years ago and have been shoving things in there ever since.) We desperately needed to reclaim the space for storing things we really do need to store. In 7.5 hours, garbage was cleared, no longer useful items removed, things we do in fact need were grouped and put away, and space was again ours!

Carol charged me $45 an hour and $20 for gas. I think the price was fair. I called another lady and she was much more expensive. Carol was great and we clicked right away. She worked and worked and I finally made her take a break for lunch. She is wonderful; I like her as a friend. I would give her an A++++. I better not have to use her again. I better keep my house organized.
Description of Work: I used Organization Unlimited. She came out once a week for four weeks and then it took her two weeks to come back. She did all my files and she helped me with piles of things I had on my counters. She helped me organize my whole house.

Carol came out for a free consultation and assessed our needs for home organization, specifically in the garage. She was very personable and attentive. The only thing I would suggest is that she keeps this initial meeting a bit shorter by not chatting quite so much (especially with my husband who was tired after a long day of work!) Carol was able to schedule a Saturday to come out to help us and I was very pleased that she was available so quickly. She devoted the entire day to our garage project, and she worked very, very hard. She stuck to the task at hand and did not digress or chat about irrelevant things, which my husband, in particular, appreciated. Her dedication and enthusiasm was amazing. She had gotten storage boxes for us and figured out where things should go, which helped tremendously. Carol was also very knowledgeable about her work. For instance, she knew what to do with half-used cans of paint, and had suggestions for almost every situation or item we encountered in our garage. She knew how to get rid of various unwanted items and which organizations would take them. At the end of the day, what a relief it was to see Carol drive away in her pickup truck, loaded up with our unwanted stuff!! Our garage is so much more spacious and pleasant. My husband can now use his woodworking equipment, which had sat idle for 6 years due to inorganization and inertia. Although we didn't finish everything, Carol got us "up and going" and inspired to finish the job!! Carol is also reasonably priced compared to some similar services. I highly recommend Carol and Organization Unlimited.

Description of Work: Carol is AMAZING!!!! From the first time I talked to her on the phone to the time she came in to organize my house she was very professional, friendly and most of all encouraging. My house looked like a hurricane hit it and I was embarrassed to have anyone come in and see it that way but she made me feel like it was no big deal and could be taken care of easily. I was so relieved. When she came in to start work in my kitchen she came armed with inexpensive yet effective space organizers and went to work so quickly and efficiently. When my 10 year old daughter came home from school and saw the work Carol did she was speechless!! Now my kitchen is perfect and everything is organized in a way that makes sense and will be easy for me to keep up. I am having her back again next week to tackle another room. I highly recommend her and am very luck to have found her.

I frequently travel both nationally and internationally and I know I can depend on Carol to handle everything while I am gone. She can work independently and has the ability to do a project "the way I like it!" I can call her (and have) from the other side of the world if I need something and I know Carol will handle it right! I would highly recommend Carol to anyone who needs an extra pair of skilled hands for any project and/or ongoing organization!

She has been essential in helping me manage and control my very busy lifestyle through a variety of projects: ranging from setting up maintaining a new filing system; dealing with home clutter (piles, junk mail, magazines, endless catalogs); organizing and maintaining my closet; moving and organizing my storage unit; packing an entire household for a move to Arizona (second home); running errands; making purchases; doing returns back to stores and more. She also gets out Holiday decorations, helps me decorate, and then puts it all away. Honestly, anything I need help with, I can totally rely on Carol!! Description of Work: I have used Carol for the last 11 years and she is an outstanding and extremely hard working person.
