Cahill's Plumbing & Heating

This was by far the absolute worst experience that I have ever had with any company. The plumber came out for a shower that was not draining. I am on septic and let them know that my septic was just pumped in July. However they wanted to check anyways. After checking under the baffle inspection, I was advised by the plumber that my septic tanks were full and needed to be pumped. I contacted a septic company they came out first thing the next morning and checked my septic tanks, they were not full and ironically enough was able to pull out a huge clog of toilet paper from the baffle. He advised this is something that the plumbers do but since we just had one out the day before and they did told us the wrong information he would happily fix the problem for us. My husband called Riley Cahill (the manger) the next day to try to talk to him about the situation and try to find out why we were charged so much since there was not an itemized receipt. Riley proceeded to get very defense and angry and HUNG UP on my husband. He then called back left a message that saying he will check with his plumbers on Monday and get back to us. Monday morning I called Riley Cahill to have a conversation of what went wrong and how we will remedy the situation. He proceeded to once again get very upset, raise his voice and was insanely disrespectful (telling me to be quiet and stop talking). Then hung up on me as well. After that he called back to tell me I was wrong, and hung up on me again. I told him during the conversation that I was going to warn anyone I could not to use this company through reviews, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Jason was terrific. Although he was later than promised, I received a call TELLING me he would be late, which is great customer service these days. He was friendly, skilled, and I couldn't ask for more. I will request Jason in the the future, and will always call Cahill's when I need a plumber.

Everyone was polite and courteous from the person who answered the calls to the technicians that came to do the work. The price was fair and the work was done in a professional manner.

They were able to give me quote over the phone and also schedule me the next day! Harry called me in the allotted time frame and stated he was 10 minutes out. That gave me enough time to lock up the cats. He arrived and put on booties which was very nice, and got straight to work removing the old faucet and then installing the new one. He finished installing and cleaned up everything and explained the final bill. Was a great experience!

Experience with this company was very positive. Owner was easy to reach, work was performed the next day and workers were competent and professional.

Rick communicated well, came on time, went into the crawl space, did the necessary troubleshooting and took care of the problem in a very professional manner.

Great work, after some minor scheduling challenges, they arrived and got the work done quickly, professionally and with a high level of quality, I'm very pleased with the work.

Measurements were off creating extra finish work. Work was bid at 1200 total time on the job for two plumbers 3 hours not including travel time.

These guys were amazing! We had the plastic water intake valve behind the toilet burst and spray water everywhere at 4am. after cleaning up the mess we called Cahill's at about 6:45am and they arrived by 8:30am to fix the valve, which took them like 15 minutes. I asked them about doing all of the valves in the house (16 total) and they agreed to come back at noon to do all of them. At exactly noon they were back at my house and had all the valves changed out in less than 2 hours. They were friendly, clean, polite, and provided excellent customer service. Jason and Harry were the team that came to my house and I would highly recommend them. And thanks to Russell, the owner, for giving us a great deal on the work his team did. We will be calling on Cahill's for any future plumbing needs.

They were polite, and put the shoe protectors on before coming in. They stayed until the got everything done. They even cleaned up the water under the sink, and did a great job cleaning up everything else. I would recommend them to anyone. They were so nice, and showed up when they were supposed to. They came here with 2 employees, and were here for about 4 hours. If I ever need a plumber, I will call them.

Work was done quickly and professionally. Were very careful to collect and/or cleanup any water drips. Had to cut wall board in laundry room to repair hose bib. Removed as small a piece as possible and replaced when finished.

My experience was great. They were right in the middle. The quality was great. We've had no problems. Everything just worked out great.

Jason and Henry crawled through a very unpleasant 3' space between our first and second floor to find out that there was a double ptrap install and the vent line just venting into open space. They corrected the plumbing, installed a studer cap and brought everything upto code (fixing the bad smell) problem. I really appreciate there willingness to belly craw into a tight space to solve the problem without having to cut a hole in the celling. They came in just under what they estimated it to cost. Showed up promptly and were professional. This is the second time I have used Cahill's Plumbing and have always had a good experience.

It went great! They drilled, plumbed, and tested their work. The first plumber I had out for an estimate quoted about $1300 for the job, about what we paid for the fridge!! Cahill gave us an estimate over the phone of $450, sight unseen. They were totally capable and did their work professionally. I have finally found a great plumber!

Jason and Harry arrived early to the house (I was late!). They came in, listened to the problem, and got right to work. They were efficient and worked great as a team, completing the repair in just about an hour. No more leaks! They cleaned up everything and were very friendly, answering any questions I had. Would definitely use them again.

They came in and started working right away. They did a good job. I was responsible for the toilet issue so I was billed $50.00. The sink was billed to my landlord.

My wife thought it was expensive but I think its $200 to do anything so I was happy with him. They were prompt. They solved my problem. They were available.

Work required a day and a half to complete. Ran into problems changing out the fixtures. soldering old copper can be a challenge. They did a very good job of opening the wall to access the plumbing. It made my job of repairing the wall much easier.

On July 2, 2013 Cahill Plumbing came out to our rental house, to investigate a problem with waste water backing up into the showers and bath. They tried snaking out the main drain from the septic tank toward the house and could not open the line so determined that the line needed to be replaced. They quoted us a price of 2,800 to 3,200 to replace the entire line from the house to the septic tank. I asked what I would save by digging up the line myself and was told that the price would be reduced to about 600.00 to 700.00. So I dug it up myself. They arrived 4 hours late to complete the job on July 8, 2013. They pulled the old concrete pipes full of sewage out of the ditch and placed them on the lawn. They pieced together the new ABS pipe and connected it to a piece of concrete pipe coming from the house under the concrete patio. They came to me and told me they were done, I came out and asked why they hadn’t bothered to connect the other end of the line to the septic tank. I was told that they hadn’t picked up any mortar to do that and that they would have to charge me extra to make the trip to the store and buy the materials they forgot to get in the first place. They would also charge me 1000.00 to dispose of the old septic pipe. I had to go and get the material to finish the job, meanwhile they had told the people in the house to run lots of water through the system to flush out any sewage still backed up in the lines. I returned to complete the job and found that the ditch was nearly half-full of liquid waste that had backup out of the septic tank. After Cahill Plumbing left our rental house we had 25 feet of broken and crumbling 6 inch concrete pipe FULL of raw sewage laid out in the yard along with piles of the “stuff” scooped out onto the dirt from the ditch I had dug. The new main septic line simply stuck into the septic tank with a 1 inch gap all the way around it. And the ditch nearly half-full of sewage. Our rental house is currently occupied by my elderly father in-law who has dementia and several other medical issues. We still have to find someone to look at the septic system to see why the waste water-level is so high as to keep backing up out of the tank. Thanks to Cahill Plumbing we are $1500 in the hole and the root cause of the issue is still not resolved.

I hired these guys based on a referral from a good friend after my usual plumber bailed on the job (didn't show up). Russel Cahill (owner) called me on a Sunday. Since I had already been without water for 48 hours and had some work commitments, we scheduled the job for Tuesday morning between 8 and 8:30 They showed up later than initially expected at 9:30 but had notified me at 8:30 that they had to pick up a tool from a diff job site and when they would be there by 9:30 - which seemed completely reasonable to me. Total work time was 1 hr 15 minutes (2 plumbers - Russel himself and another guy) which was much faster than I expected. A similar issue happened with my neighbors line located 1 foot away and it took at least 4 hours end-to-end with the single plumber contracted for the job. So given that reference point, this was lightning quick. Russel and his partner were clearly experienced in addressing this sort of issue. They were able to explain the mechanics of how they were fixing the problem fairly credibly (I'm an engineer and can easily call b*******) Water's back on. Price was good. I would definitely rely on them again or recommend them to friends for similar problems.

it was a disaster. Shortly after the 2 person crew arrived the lead person asked me what he was supposed to do because he didn't have a work order. Yet he had a new sink and 3 faucets in their crew van. The sink wasn't the right size so they needed to cut a larger hole in the counter top. The flange on the sink they installed was smaller than the one they replaced so there was a black ring and glue left around the new sink on the counter. They left when I left to run an errand when I returned and noticed much was not done and what was done was done poorly I called the owner to ask why. The responses were arrogant and confrontational that ended with Russell Cahill saying "good luck" then abruptly hanging up on me. The next morning the connection they made to one of the new faucets failed and flooded the restroom, hallway and other areas in our office. We just had our offices completely remodeled. The water damage company called in to address the problems had to bring in several high capacity fans, 2 industrial size dehumidifiers, tore out large sections of cove base and drilled holes into the sheetrock. To connect all the fans and denhumidifiers we have extension cords running from several outlets throughout the offices and floors. Two bathrooms are out of service, the kitchen has dehumidifier drain tubes in the sink. The fan and dehumidifiers noise level is disruptive and the response company recommends the equipment run 24 hrs a day for 6 days. Cahill plumbing Maple Valley, Wa is the worst plumbing contractor I have ever had the misfortune to use.
