Description of Work: Stay away from White Paint and White Paint Group, managed by Kerry White and Abigail White. Their business licences are suspended from 2016 for unpaid debts, taxes to Department of Labot and workers wages. Total amount $27,000. Kerry White can be dangerous and abusive.

Description of Work: We hired White Paint to do a complete interior painting of the townhome we had just purchased. Initially we were impressed with the work. We had picked quite a few bold colors throughout the house and the result was quite stunning. | |However on closer inspection, we found much of the finish work had been shoddily done. Many of the edges required a final coat as you could still see the previous color bleeding through. In some cases, a different finish was used in the corners from the rest of the wall. In some cases, masking tape was left behind and there were scratches or paint on many of the built in sprinkler covers. We discovered they had used a cheaper brand of paint than the one we had agreed to and when they left, they did not seal up the remaining cans, leaving them to dry and become useless. There were paint drips on one of the blinds that could not be safely removed. | |When we brought the number of issues up with Mr. White, he did return and address some of the issues and he did reimburse us for the damaged blind. However, many of the items we identified that needed to be fixed were left undone. We made multiple appointments to have him come and complete the work, but he would always cancel or reschedule and we finally realized he had no intention of coming back and completing the work. | |I find Mr. White's unwillingness to correct the mistakes of his crew and his lack of communication after the issue was raised completely unprofessional and I highly recommend you stay away from White Paint. Mr. White does not properly train his crew, he does not monitor their work for quality and he does not stand behind his word.

+ 0 moreThe worst contractors we have ever hired. Ended up costing us thousands of dollars in damage. Illegal workers. Painted all of our windows shut. Dripped paint down the side of the house. Paint peeling and showing wood after 6 months. Broke one of the deck panels. Owner was verbally and emotionally abusive. When we would point out one of there many errors like breaking a part of our house huge spot missing paint, etc.) he would yell and make it personal and go on and on about how in debt he is and how awful we are to "cost" him this money. Because they improperly installed snow blocks on our roof, the snow backed up and took out our chimney, costing us thousands of dollars. Where they "removed and replaced" wood near the front door they must have done so improperly, because suddenly water has seeped in, ruining our bamboo floors. The owner actually threatened us, and our neighbors said he was the most unprofessional contractor they'd ever met. Not only should this guy never be allowed near people, much less run a business, he needs some serious mental help.
