When the heat pump shut off outside from the cold, it left a toxic smell inside from the furnace that we complained to him about. They said there was nothing that they could do about it and that it was not hazardous to our health. We are not so sure about that.

They were here only for about forty five minutes and cleaned up. The guy was very friendly and on time. They were on top of all things.

They installed both, did an excellent job. If I have had an issue I call them. They have always had someone out the same day or the next. Most recently I had an issue with my tankless water heater. They came and fixed it. I didn't grade price as I don't have anything to compare it to.

Brilliant from the start. On the weekend, I emailed several local businesses who replaced water heaters, but only Candice Gallagher from WES responded that weekend. More importantly, she actually answered immediately all my questions about prices and services, and gave me my options, right in an email. Several of the other companies did call me back and left messages on Monday, but gave no information: having such a straightforward response really helped me when I was trying to figure out what to do, as I didn't have to play phone tag just to hear my choices. On the phone, Candice was just as responsive in going through the options and getting down to the bottom line. Rich and Jay arrived on time, after a phone call to let me know they were coming. They worked quickly and steadily. There was a bit of confusion about removing the old tank, but it took only my word (and later, a phone call by Rich and Jay), to clear that up. I liked that they believed I had made the arrangement, didn't question me suspiciously, but took my word and later checked with the office....nice element of trust and professionalism there. The odd pipes were capped up nicely, and the whole area was left neat. I then received a follow-up email from Candice Gallagher.

What I appreciated that this guy came out regardless if I was going to purchase an AC unit or not. I didn't want to waste his time, but he still came out to do it. I would go with this company, but I cannot afford this company's price for a unit. I would recommend this company and maybe one day I could use their service.

Overall it was great. We apologize for the LATENESS of this report, but it also emphasizes the positive impression/experience Jonathan Dwight and his crew had on us. Throughout the entire process, Jonathan Dwight made us feel as if our project was the most important one he had. His attention to detail, his thoroughness and his ability to answer all of our questions are just a few of his great qualities. (His drawing of how our fireplace was going to be converted to a gas fireplace was so HELPFUL to me. I am such a visual-type of person!!) Also, the patience he demonstrated throughout our several month "decison making process" has not been our typical experience with sales personnel during our remodel. We did receive SEVERAL bids for this project and though we could have spent less money, we are confident we would not have received the individualized attention, the quality of product and the years of experience/support that come with doing business with Washington Energy Services. They are still in business and a couple of the smaller companies we could have chosen are not!

Starting with the initial visit Andrew was prompt, professionable and friendly. He was always well prepared and thorough. We elected to replace our LP Siding with Hardy siding and to have gutters replaced. Andrew went out of his way to schedule with the gutter team so we could have some painting done while the gutters were off and still not interfere with the siding job. Dan, the Siding Manager arrived on schedule for the critical measure and was thorough, professional and friendly. He took a lot of time explaining all details and what to expect. The gutter crew arrived on schedule, worked hard and got the job done. The siding crew was a joy to work with - they were always on time, started right in to work, worked hard and did a wonderful job throughout - There's a lot of wall on our house (we live on a hill and some of the heights were considerable). When issues arose Andrew and the rest made sure that things were fixed 100%. No skimping, everything done the way I would want, but didn't need to ask. I can't think of anything within the scope of this project I could ask to have been done better. Job management, crews, materials and support were all superb. I recommend them highly.

They are always prompt about coming out when it is time for the tune ups. I give Washington Energy Services all A's for their service.

The estimator arrived as scheduled, on a Sunday afternoon (!) and very quickly told us that our idea of a mini-split ductless system would not work, and that we needed a large A/C unit in the attic, ducts all over the place, and the estimated cost would be about $16,000. It was a high-pressure selling attempt. We later found 2 estimates for the kind if system we had researched, for about half of his figure. He was reluctant to provide a written estimate, and tried to insist on a follow-up call after the next estimator's call.

I called them and they were able to come out the next day. The whole project only took a few hours. The price was comparable with everyone else in the area. I felt that the work was of good quality.

Our experience with them was fine but they did not inform us as to how long it would take for the hot water to get to the kitchen sink. It was over a minute. Instead of working with us on some way to fix the problem they were very uncertain about helping us when we contacted them. They were trying to install two redundant systems instead of the correct one that would work the best for us. They were basically trying to up sell. They did give us a quote on that system that was fine and another one for which the cost was almost the same as the water heater itself. So we were eager to jump at that.

I was happy with the service from end to end. The sales person was professional and on time, the phone rep that scheduled was great and even called us back to get our appointment in earlier, and the work crew did a great job. They left the place clean. I was very happy with these guys!

Came on a Sunday, did not charge extra, and installed a new water heater. I cannot say enough about their staff, from the office to the field people. They were responsive and when I didn't have hot water they discovered my electrical panel was bad, and someone helped me fix it until we could get it replaced. I cannot say enough good things about this company!

They did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time and were clean. My husband could not say enough good things about them. They were conscientious and really cared about the work that they were doing.

We were told that as long as we lived in the house, were the original purchasers, that these windows were guaranteed - in that if they broke structurally, etc., they would replace them free. That they would have our name on their records, etc. Well, we finally called them last August, to replace 4 windows - the latches had broken to leaking issues - and they had "no record" of such a program - and we had lost our original paperwork, after much hassle, we gave up - so they won. My advice - if you deal with this company, put all of their paperwork in a fireproof safe - and don't beleive the lifetime line.

I had used Washington Energy Services years before so I called them to replace some older windows and a sliding glass door. The sales person and the estimator and installers were all prompt and friendly and professional. The windows and door they replaced look great and I wish I had done more initially. The cost was higher than a few other quotes but I knew the name so I went ahead and contracted with them. The only bad experience was the installers left a dust mess inside which may have been expected, but outside there was sawdust covering my deck and down the side of my house, I guess they used it to saw some boards. I know it was raining part of that day which may have added to the mess - but I really did not appreciate coming home to that. Otherwise the windows and door look great and I am very happy with the purchase and the final product.

They were excellent in every way- customer service, prompt, and professional. I would use them again.

Excellent, responsive sales staff, very courteous and well trained crew. They took the time to explain each step to me. The job was completed quickly, professionally and the job site was left immaculate when they were done.

This is the 2nd time that this water heater has gone on the fritz so I decided it was time to get a new one instead of looking to fix it again. Called three plumbers from Angie's List and Washington Energy Services came in with a competitive quote and was the only one that could do the work that day. Said they would be there between 12 and 4 and arrived at 3:45. Tech did a good job and was done and gone by 6. Overall a very good experience.

Had a 17 year old high efficiency furnace that developed cracks in the secondary heat exchangers as well as the blower motor mount sheared off. Got estimates from two other vendors, WES came in the lowest ( although all three were within $500 of each other ). After deposit, three days later had a new furnace before the coldest March in 33 years arrived ;-).

The deck work was all there, so they just had to replace the furnace. They had to co-ordinate all the work, with the gas line being brought into the house and putting up the meter and all that. They took two days to complete the process as the first day they brought the line and the second day they brought the furnace. They had to co-ordinate with the city to fix up my house with gas heating. I wasn t without heat for more than a day. They are thorough and professional and this is the second time I have used them. I had used them for my old house too. Their pricing is competitive; they took care of everything and answered all my questions. The system works great.

It was good. They did a good job. I was pleased with it.

He came out, dismantled our furnace and told us we needed to buy a new one, of which we did not. He left the furnace dismantled and charged us $100.00.

The worker came at the beginning of the time period that had been given me. He went to the water heater and examined it then had me turn off the power to it. He replaced the thermostats then checked to make sure they were working. He gave me the bill and accepted payment. He said there was a one year warranty on the work.

Jess R. of Washington Energy Services came out and did a very thorough inspection of our home. He measured every room in the house, inspected the current systems, circuit breakers, and gas lines. He even put on his knee pads and went down into our crawlspace under the house and took several photos of our duct work to show me; something that no other estimator did. Jess showed me how we needed some minor duct and insulation repairs due to a local cat that has been getting inside the crawlspace and clawing away at the insulation. A couple of days later, I had a very competitive quote from WES. Jess picked up his phone immediately whenever I called with follow-up questions, and was always pleasant and informative with his responses. He's got a great attitude, and represents WES quite well, even taking the bad news of losing the contract to a competitor with appreciation for the opportunity and a smile in his voice -- yes, I could actually hear him smiling! But business is business, and WES fell a little short in what they could include in their quote compared to the winning contractor. Nevertheless, I would invite Jess and WES to our home anytime and consider them for future projects without hesitation.
