It went very well. I am a new home owner and have little experience with furnace problems. WSE was very prompt and professional in their service. Todd who handles scheduling was very proactive and called me in advance when there was a small delay for the technician. technicians also gave advance calls to let me know that they are coming and gave me an ETA and they promptly arrived at that time. They were also very courteous and answered all my questions. I will definitely use them again. Regarding price I cant comment since I don't know what rate others charge. They also honored angies list coupon which I found after the service was done. Overall I am very happy with the service and support they provided.

Very well. They had a tricky job to do and it took a lot of manpower and effort to get it done in one day. When the system didn't starting heating correctly right off the bat, they stayed until nearly 7:00pm troubleshooting until everything worked perfectly. Easy to work with, totally professional. It's the second job I've done with WES this year, and I will continue to use them in the future.

Our original furnace was starting to not turn on at times, so it was time to replace it before it failed completely during a cold snap. We contacted Washington Energy Services, who immediately asked us if we were without heat, which impressed me. Since we still had heat, we scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The estimator was on time, friendly yet professional, and did a thorough review of the house and our needs. He gave us 3 models and prices to choose from. After a few days of thinking it over, we called and ordered a York energy efficient model. The installers arrived on time at 8 a.m. The replacement was not a simple job, the installers had to install a new vent through the roof, and a drain line through the garage wall, since our old furnace was tied into the water heater system. It was a 9 hour job. The installers were professional and very polite, explained what they were doing and why, left the garage cleaned up, and we are very pleased with the result. We plan to use them in the future for window and door replacement.

The inspection and maintenance of our furnace and water heater was performed in a very timely and professional manner. This service was free of charge as per our purchase agreement. The technician showed up on time on the agreed upon date and performed all required tasks promptly and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend Washington Energy Services for heating and/or air conditioning needs. We will definitely use their services in the future!

My experience has gone very will. The staff is professional and knowledgeable in their field. The pricing is reasonable and I have been pleased with the outcome of their services and would recommend this company to others.

The scheduler kept me informed and notified me of times, paperwork and signed the clear. When I read the paperwork, I asked specifically about inside trim, but to them, inside trim meant by the window and I meant inside house or there was a little misscommunication, but when I realized it was my fault for not understandiing they still installed inside the house trim at no additional cost and it looks fabulous.

They were amazing! I had several other contractors come by for bids and they were all about the same but the professionalism from Washington Energy Services stood out. Don, the sales person, was very personably and to the point and didn't bother me with unimportant information. The contractors that actually did the job were very conscientious, professional, and unobtrusive. They made some last minute small changes for me with no complaints. I highly recommend them. .

One area was improperly done the first time, due to uneasy access and misunderstanding, but was completed upon a second visit.

Our heater went down during a Friday night and we woke up to a frigid 53 degrees Farenheit. I placed a call to Washington Energy Services and was able to secure an appointment the very same day. Robert showed up promptly at the scheduled time. In fact, he actually arrived a little early due to a mis-communication and was nice enough to work things out so he could still come inspect the faulty heater. Robert was friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and thorough. He asked a few questions and a quick inspection revealed a faulty ignitor which he promptly replaced. He offered to do maintenance on the heater for approximately $130 (in place of the $99 assessment fee I would have had to pay otherwise). The entire process (service maintenance and ignitor replacement) took about 30 minutes even though he almost had to take the entire heater apart to get to the ignitor, all the while explaining the various working parts and potential things to look for in my ancient 22-year old heater. I wish all the service people I have encountered are as nice and knowledgeable/professional as Robert! I was so pleased with the services provided that I purchased a 2-year maintenance plan and will definitely look to Washington Energy Services for all my future heating/AC needs!

First and most important, there was absolutely no high pressure sales. We knew the house we had purchased needed work to make it more energy efficient and save us money. We knew the furnace was the original one from when the house was built. The sales presentation was informative, educational and very helpful in our decision process. We understood not only what would be done to the house but also what the potential tax consequences might be. The salesman graciously returned several times to elaborate on certain points when we had questions. Refreshingly, there was no criticism of other companies or "bashing" of their methods or practices. We had an another energy audit done by a competing company. It was not nearly as thorough, extensive or informative. We received a total of two bids for insulation and three bids for windows from several companies. Washington Energy Services (WESCO) was not the cheapest but did come very highly recommended. They offered three choices (levels) of gas furnace and three choices of windows. Important to us, all work is done by their own employees and not by sub-contractors. The workers who installed our furnace only install furnaces. Likewise, the workers who worked on our windows only install windows. We found each person who represents the company to be polite, respectful and professional. They made some suggestions before our purchase that saved us money and very much enhanced the appearance of our home. There is no question they were each eager for us to make good choices and have what we wanted. It was like having a friend in the business. The guarantee on the windows is fantastic and is made by WESCO, not by some window factory off somewhere. If there is a problem, any problem, WESCO will be the one we call and they will be the ones who will fix the issue. A company scheduler called to make an appointment for each phase of the work. When they had a cancellation, they moved us to a time period a full week sooner than we had been originally scheduled. Each crew of workers arrived on time and immediately covered our floors and rugs to protect them from dirt. When working totally indoors, the workers wore shoe coverings. I want to make a specific comment about the two men who installed the additional insulation, sealed the air leaks and the heat ducts. They were particularly careful to not bring dirt into the house despite crawling in the attic and the crawl space while doing their work. They made an extra effort to clean the floor coverings they had placed on our floors before removing them. Remember, most of their work was done out of our immediate sight. They took care to explain each step of the work and just what the effect on the house would be. Because we were having all the windows in the house replaced, WESCO sent two complete crews to work at the same time. This would assure the work was done rapidly and didn't drag on during our cold and damp January. When working outside, they were careful of the shrubs and plants near the house. We chose to have all of the windows lined, to have the interiors dressed with wood molding. In some places this meant a good deal of hand finish work. The installers did an extremely high quality job of finish carpentry. Their work compares well with the finest done in any home. At the end of each job, they completely removed all waste and debris as well as cleaning their work area. We were given a complete "tour" of the work done, instructions on operating devices and controls like window locks and the programmable thermostat. We were also given written documentation and instructions as well as a phone number to call if we have any questions or concerns. The was a good experience and a great choice for us.

The person who came to bid the installation was professional and clear about the options. The office staff worked to answer questions we had later and schedule a convenient time for installation. The installers we on time and cleaned up after themselves. The lead installer was very thorough in explaining how the system operated and what to expect. We were pleased with our choice.

I'm satisfied with them. They were very flexible and he got back to me quickly. They answered all of my questions. I have no complaints. There was nothing great or bad about the experience.

We had an audit performed in July but didn't move forward with any of the work until this past cold snap and we saw just how cold it was in here. Called them to schedule time to install, and I have to say that working with Peggy has been a phenomenally wonderful experience. She is just so pleasant, and has gone above and beyond and getting this all scheduled. We had two crews here on Saturday - one in the crawl space and one in the attic. The attic was completed, and the crawl space is just about done; they'll finish that this Saturday. The guys were just great. On time, professional, cheerful - just wonderful. The guys in the crawl space found and marked a slow leak in a copper pipe (review for that work in a separate post). They found no other problems. We decided to go ahead with having them install the vapor barrier in the crawl space also, so that will happen this Saturday after they've finished the small little area that remains to insulate. This is a 1967 ranch style home with a peaked ceiling in the living room and kitchen, so the guys who installed the insulation in the attic had to really crawl through some tight spaces to get back to the family room and laundry room attic areas. Additionally, they discovered a huge hole around the fireplace, so after looking at it from the water heater closet in the laundry room, they added foam to cover up the cracks and so the insulation wouldn't just fall through. Our experience has been nothing but pleasant dealing with the folks at Washington Energy Services, and we recommend them with full confidence.

This past Saturday, we had two teams from WES here installing insulation in the crawl space and attic. The guys in the crawl space found a slow leak, and marked it so we could take further action. This morning, I called Peggy (awesome gal) and she set everything up with the plumbing department and had a team of two guys out here this afternoon. They found the problem, took a picture for me, and fixed the problem quickly. Awesome!! Once again, the team members who were here were professional, pleasant, and cheerful. It is an absolute pleasure to do business with this company!

this company was recommended by furnace-installing company that does not do fireplaces. our fireplace was not working. could not get gas to fire-up. called Washington Energy and Colin came out. can not say enough about him.......great guy, knowledgeable, got right to work and no-nonsense. quoted us great price. fixed fireplace and did routine maintenance as fireplace had not been used in approximately 9 months, since we bought house. we were so impressed, we may decide to use them as our yearly furnace service contractor also, rather than recommending company!
