But, to me, the true measure of a great company is not just the quality of the products, but the quality of the customer service. With the scope of work WES did, I dealt with a lot of their staff; the audit surveyor, the salesman, the supervisor, the schedulers and installers. All of them were professional, considerate, informative, courteous and just overall a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use WES again for any future products. Thank you WES!
Description of Work: Washington Energy Services conducted an Energy Audit Survey for us. And based on those findings, we had insulation added to our attic; a new water heater installed; a new window installed; and 2 sets of french patio doors installed.

+ 1 moreYesterday (February 12) Steve contacted me. I am now looking forward to obtaining estimates next week. They apparently did try to contact me, leaving a couple of voice messages, but it must have been on someone else's phone number. Any way, all is well that ends well, so, as mentioned, am looking forward to Steve's visit next week.
Description of Work: Chase reviewed my home "fitness." Most reassuring for me that Chase was able to explain how and why my home shut off valve was indeed working as it should be even though it would take more than a minute for water to stop flowing at a downstairs faucet. Also, we discussed getting warm water from downstairs water heater in garage to upstairs master bathroom. Chase did his job, but the follow-up folks at Washington Energy have not yet come out to give me estimates for a)tankless water heater vs. b)Grundfos Nonsubmersible Circulation Pump install. Saw Chase Jan 15, now on Feb 10 nobody (supposedly Steve) has contacted me. I guess I have no other option at this point than to pursue estimates from other vendors.

+ -1 moreThe salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped us understand our options. We chose a triple paned windows made in Washington State. They are coated in a self-cleaning film--just spray the window with a hose to clean. The windows also included a pane replacement guarantee-if they are broken for any reason, the company will replace. The crew arrived on time, installed the windows, then cleaned everything up. This is our third project with Washington Energy Service. Each time we have had a great experience.
Description of Work: Replaced four windows in our house, including two large picture windows.

+ 0 moreWe needed to replace an old electric hot water tank that was deteriorating from the inside. We had just moved into the house, and we knew our large blended family would probably drain a standard hot water tank regularly, leaving people with cold showers. So we decided to go with a tankless system. We were concerned that it wouldn't be able to keep up with multiple showers, but having lived with the system for over a year it is apparent that Washington Energy Services sized the unit appropriately. We can run two showers and the dishwasher simultaneously. We are very happy with the system.
Description of Work: Washington Energy Services installed a gas-powered tankless water heater to replace an electric tank heater.

+ -1 moreRobert Jamieson went above and beyond furnace maintenance. He installed my carbon monoxide unit and an additional fire alarm unit in the basement. He helped me with a 2 year maintenance furnace plan which would save me money in the long run. Definitely will use WA Energy Svcs again and will ask for Mr. Jamieson again.
Description of Work: Gas furnace burners cleaned and did furance maintenance. Checked air ducts for cleanliness and checked my thermostat.

He was also very patient (he answered all of my questions). He took the time to explain the details of what would be involved in each of the two installation scenarios, and he left a lot of useful documents for me to look over. I have confidence that they would have done a good job, but I was able to get another quote from another reputable company that was lower.

The plumber looked at it and was able to remove the old faucet and put on a new one without having to rip the walls out, so I was glad for that. He did the work quite quickly and everything worked. He checked the water pressure in the house as well. He was nice, and did not make a mess, and he did exactly what I wanted.
Description of Work: I had an Angie's Deal to have an outdoor faucet replaced. The plumber came out and replaced the faucet.
