The best customer service is perfect execution. How good a company is, is determined by how they respond when perfect execution is not accomplished, but I will take perfect execution any time. Perfect execution is what I can report here! Cost for comparable system was considerably lower than competitors.

Our January water bill was double our normal usage, which prompted a letter from my water company, suspecting a leak. So, I bought an Angie's List deal for comprehensive plumbing inspection. The technician showed up on time, was very courteous and professional. He inspected all plumbing fixtures and found an exterior faucet that was leaking. He said his company would only do replacement of the entire faucet, and not repair, and gave me a quote for the replacement ($300+, with the cost to repair the siding, which they'd need to cut open, additional). Now, one could easily assume he'd try to persuade me to get the faucet replaced at this point. Instead, the technician said he wanted me to know what my options were, and spent a good 10 minutes talking me thru the repair process, including the tools and parts I would need, should I decide to attempt a repair. This was totally unexpected and just great service!! (PS: Thanks to the knowledge the technician shared with me, I opted for repair instead of the much more costly replacement. I have neither the tools nor skills, so I bought another Angie's List for 8 hours of general contractor work, and the contractor repaired the faucet in 45 minutes using a $2 part.)

Over the years I have used them to replace windows,install a forced draft furnace and now decieded to replace my h/w heater due to age etc. The sheduling from sales to install was flawless.I do not know if it was timing but both things were installed in the same day.The plumber,electricans and HVAC installer all arrived on time and scoped out the job and got right to work.They were professional,pleasant and keep me informed of all things that they were doing.Before they left they tested all equipment and reviewed all operational parameters.They left the yard,and work area very clean,removing all trash etc.This was a real great experieince.

The technician was polite. He used shoe covers and provided drop cloths to keep the work area clean. He told me the plan and proceeded with it. There were very few questions. He was polite when I lingered at the end and asked questions. All work was done within the time frame he set out. He did not try to sell me anything else or add any surprise expenses. Good job!

I called them when the heat went out in one of my rooms (and the other heaters in other rooms started working overtime to compensate). The operator at the company informed me that baseboard heaters were more something for an electrician -- this despite their ad saying they care of all types of heating.

I decided that it was time to replace my 12 year old hot water tank so I called Washington Energy Services. (My neighbor had recommended them.) This was a positive experience from start to finish! Charles came out to measure the closet space and to write up the proposal. He suggested that I could go from my larger tank to a 50 gallon tank and that is what I decided on. He wrote up the proposal and I paid 50% down payment. A few days later I was contacted to set up a date for installation. The technician who installed my hot water heater was Rigo. He was knowledgable, careful, and very professional about his work. It wasn't an easy job as he had to move stackable washer and dryer to access the old water heater, but he managed to drain the old heater, remove it, and install my brand new tank with no problems at all. Everything is back in place and I am so happy with the result. I have received the permit and scheduled my plumbing inspection. (permit fee was included in total cost) I will recommend Washington Energy Services to other home owners in my condominium complex.

The experience was good. It turned out really good and they were very efficient. They were explaining everything as they went along so I could understand what they were testing. I have big windows so they thought there might be a lot of energy lost through the windows but they weren't. They were professional, friendly and informative.

Washington Energy Services representatives at the start of the process were polite and responsive. The representative that conducted the initial assessment forgot to turn our heating and fresh air return back on after completing his work. Unfortunately we didn't notice until the house got very cold over night. He was apologetic and offered to remove the charge for the assessment (which they would do anyway if we continued with them). They use a "good, better, best options" sales technique but were not pushy about it and allowed for coming up with our own combination of services. They were very responsive to all of our questions during this early part of the process. The installation was okay with some minor damage to the hatch and a couple of led light can installations not finished off perfectly. Unfortunately, their responsiveness became very poor after they received the complete payment. We contacted them for information about the led can lights and which dimmer switches would be compatible. It took them many weeks and repeat contact for them to get back to us. They have never been back to conduct the follow up blower test and not responding to our request to schedule it. We have repeatedly asked them to provide a detailed tax receipt that would allow us to claim some of the energy saving products on our tax return. We received a general receipt, without any breakdown of items, twice. We are still waiting for the detailed receipt. Their service after being paid has been so poor that I would not use them in future and do not recommend them to anyone else.

Sam at Washington Energy was very responsive with my request for an estimate, and my request for a 65 gal tank vs a 50 gal tank. They were able to get me an appointment about 1.5 wks after I agreed to the estimate. I was given a window of 8-12 for the crew to arrive. They called me when they were about 30 min away and arrived a little after 9am. The work took about 2 hrs and the crew was efficient and professional. The crew was able to reuse my earthquake straps and in addition, they installed a wood spacer so the water heater pan drain hole was more exposed than previously. The final price exactly matched the estimate. I'd definitely use Washington Energy again in the future.

Existing shower and bath plumbing not to code, shower connection to the sewer line was broken. Crawlspace very tight and not in great condition. Mike and Myles were smartly dressed (in "uniform") explained what their plan of attack was, got down under the house and fixed the problems. They even found a way to connect in to the existing vent stack without opening the wall, which was a great bonus for me. Two very experienced guys (~10yrs experience each)who worked together well. Two leaky hosebibs replaced in about 30 mins each, cleaned up well afterwards, great experience. Only gave them a B for price as I didn't seek any other quotes, so have no idea whether this is high or not, just felt a little high to me. One year guarantee on their work, would definitely use them again.

The young man they sent, Nick, was quite professional and personable. He spent a bit over an hour going over the house, then explained what was problematical. He recommended that both toilets be reset, with new wax seals. One sink and the bathtub needed their drains cabled. The expansion tank on our fairly new water heater needed replacement. One bathroom sink and faucet needed to be tightened down. He did a good job of explaining what was needed and which things had relative urgency. I felt it was a sensible, thoughtful summary, not at all a hard sell, and I asked him to give me an estimate on all his suggestions. He did so in a few minutes, I approved the work, and he did it all on the spot. Except for the minor cavil that he did not put everything back just as it had been (rugs, cabinet contents, etc) I was well impressed: impressed enough to pay for an energy audit appointment from the same company. I'll be reviewing that once it occurs.

A crew showed up with everything they needed. Completed the job they had promised.

Will, our Home Energy specialist sent us a reminder email in advance. He arrived on time, explained everything he was doing, answered our questions and was neat and clean in the process.

We had a new furnace in yesterday, but we had a repair guy and a salesman twelve days before that. They were very responsive; that was impressive. They were knowledgeable and they got the job done very quickly. We are very happy. I have a feeling we probably could got it done less expensively, but it would have been little more of a hassle.

The electrical and gas contractors were on time. They were very professional and informative. They took their time and explained everything about the product and the operation of it. Cleaned up all their mess when done.
