+ 0 moreThey were able to put a fireplace in that other companies said wouldn't be possible. Some of their crew stayed until midnight one night to get the work done. They were very good, quick. When we were waiting for an estimate, they provided it within a few days instead of months or ignoring it like other companies have done. Everything was on budget, quick and professional.

+ 0 moreWashington Energy sent out their best installers in advance of our plans for a "fireplace/new tile job" so that we could match our demo/new tile to the planned installation. All is well, we just need to pass inspection by City of Kirkland.
Description of Work: First, a new gas furnace. We had 3 bids, from Costco, Washington Energy Svc., and Black Lion. Inspection from Black Lion ($59 angies list promo) revealed a cracked heat exchanger and drove a decision to replace the gas furnace.. Wash Energy Svc beat the competition; Because WSE had a 20% discount for October 2016 Install contracts.. the furnace works great and better than our old 80% furnace (a like-kind replacement). But we also Opted for a Gas Fireplace Insert (with discount price for 20% promotion). And the service/scheduling personnel were very agreeable to our concerns regarding new tile surround, and the placement of the front panel that snapped over the new dimensions of the tile front panel (which can be adjusted to new tile dimensions).. They worked with our tile installer.

+ -1 moreThe reason to why my husband and I chose Washington Energy Services is because they had excellent reviews from Angie's List. Delightedly; we are well satisfied with their job. They are extremely professional and have excellent service. They did all the work associated with the permit. The only thing they needed to do was to provide the label for the heating element installed in the electric furnace as per the post - installation inspection report which was done today. For sure they will take care of it ASAP. Also kudos to all the company staff for the job well done. I know this company is the best because they have 100% satisfaction guarantee and they know how to do their job professionally. My husband and I will definitely hire this company to repipe our home and looking forward to upgrade our water heater to a tankless next year.

+ 0 moreThe crew doing the job is very friendly and works hard. They did a very good job with the install process. Rating the professionalism as "C" given the issues had through the quotation process - the overall quotation and contract had very little set of details and did not include specific models or part numbers of the items I was purchasing. I was very specific in regards to the model of heat-pump I wanted and the type of thermostats I wanted and I triple checked on all of that with them via e-mails. When delivery date came, the heat-pumps delivered were from a model inferior and the sales team tried to convince me that the units delivered would be "fine" for the size of my house. I had to spend quite a lot of time with them to make sure the heat-pumps were replaced by the proper type/model that I had vetted over e-mail with the sales rep during quotation. Suggestion: Make sure that your proposal/contact is specific enough to list the number/model of the heat-pump and thermostat you're buying. That way everyone is covered and you don't have the last minute headache.
Description of Work: We hired them to replace the remove the old furnace, remove the old dutcs and install a new duct system with forced air and 2 Daikin heatpumps, one unit for the 1st floor and a second unit for the 2nd floor.

+ 3 moreWe are very pleased with the equipment, and the overall install. It took 2 days to remove the old furnace and install the new Bryant furnace and A/C. Our home is 64 years old, and the team (Chris and Ed - with help from Kyle on electrical Day One) was met with challenges. Chris, the lead, was great at problem solving and coming up with options to address issues. It took most of 2 days to complete, including fabrication of sheet metal jackets. The equipment looks fantastic, and even though it was late on Day Two, Chris walked us through the new thermostat controls, and made sure he answered all our questions. The whole team from Tristan to install to home office was fantastic! I would recommend them to family and friends.
Description of Work: I selected 3 companies from Angie's List to do an in-home consultation to replace the 34 year old gas furnace and add air conditioning. I met with Blue Flame, Black Lion and Washington Energy Services. Tristan, the energy consultant did a good job walking me through the project, equipment options and their proposal. He was responsive, communicated via email in a timely fashion, and answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable.

The measurement was fine but the manufacturer of the windows built them wrong so they had to redo them. They were fine. They were great.

Description of Work: Washington Energy Services (WES) installed two heat pumps for our two residences back in 2008. At the time of installation we decided to have them do the yearly maintenance on them as well. The Bryant Heat Pumps have kept our houses very comfortable over the years and the maintenance techs have been keen on keeping these systems running at their peak. With the yearly maintenance they have been able to ensure that our homes are comfortable 24/7 during heat waves and cold spells. We highly recommend you have them do the yearly maintenance. Although occasionally something minor shows up during maintenance, they often fix it right on the spot and sometimes at no extra cost. These folks are worth their weight in gold and we have no regrets whatsoever. Initial installation costs were substantial but through the years WES has proven themselves to stand behind their products and their workmanship. My wife and I are very pleased with this company and we plan to stick with them for years to come. People we have directly dealt with are numerous but Gary the Planner, Candice and Hailey (Admin), and Techs Jesse, Cameron, and Jacob were ALL top notch!

We began with an energy audit to address a number of heating and cooling inefficiencies throughout our home. Edwin, home energy auditor, was outstanding. He is very knowledgeable about house construction, very personable and did an excellent job of working with us and with the WES team throughout the project to make sure we were pleased with the work and the results. At the end of the project, another energy audit was performed to confirm that air leaks were substantially reduced. The Home Performance Report was very detailed and informational. The scheduling process was also very good with timely arrival and follow up by all involved.
