Actually, they're going to install a gas furnace next Tuesday. It was painless. They came in took the old water heater out, installed the new on-demand heater and it worked perfectly.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Washington Energy Services. Mike, their salesperson, has been stellar. I have worked with him twice - most recently having many of my single-pane windows replaced as well as a slider. Mike is knowledgable, professional with no sales pressure. Throughout the project, he was always available to answer my questions and did multiple checkins to ensure the installation was going well. Theo and his team of window installers were excellent. It has been several years since I have seen a group of workers that displayed such integrity in their craft. Theo checked and rechecked his team’s work, continually setting the bar. This was no easy job - I have huge windows on the second floor. They arrived on time each day, covered flooring and work areas, kept me informed of what they were doing throughout the installation, and were always willing to stop and answer my questions. My new windows are beautiful, just in time for the heat wave too! I tease my family that we’re going to eat a lot of rice and beans to help save enough money to replace the rest of the windows! :)

It couldn't have been better! Josh called ahead to tell us when he'd arrive, knew what he was doing and did it well. His service invoice contains details of nearly 40 items that were checked. He gave us good advice about using filters and vent covers, leaving the fan running, and operating the fireplace pilot light. He was a pleasure to work with. We are in good hands with Washington Energy Services.

Isaac from Washington Energy Services came to our house for a service call for our furnace. He was prompt, gave me a call when he was on the way, and was super nice! Not only was he able to figure out the problem and solve it quickly, he gave me tons of super useful information regarding not only our furnace but other house stuff (I'm a new homeowner). I appreciated the time he took to give me all the information and was more than impressed overall with the experience. I will definitely considered going through WES again when it is time for us to replace our furnace.

Two people came out to complete the installation. It took them one day about eight hours. They left the area clean.

We had three companies quote this project. Washington Energy was the most responsive and the only company to take the time to really discuss the products and how it would be installed. Our estimator, Christy Piscitelli, was super helpful and informative. She checked back in with us several times through the process. They were slightly more expensive than the other quotes, but I'd rather pay the extra and feel confident that they will stand behind their product. This was put to the test, because we had some issues with our system after installation. They took care of the problems in a timely fashion with no hassles. Everything is now working perfectly!

The service provider was punctual and polite. A checklist was provided with grades given to the various components of the home's plumbing. However, no written description was provided for each component. In particular, it would have been very helpful to have written descriptions on items that were graded "Ok" instead of "Good". What was it that the inspector saw that made him grade a component as "Ok" instead of "Good"? That could be very useful.

O.K. they guy that installed the boiler was on time & did a good job with a difficult installation in our older home. Fireplace installation - messy tools all over, did not lay down plastic to work. Also, took long time to figure out install.

The way the electronic air cleaner was installed, it didn't work properly, and they had to come back out to fix it. It took a little while to do this, we had to make a few stern phone calls. However, as soon as the proper person was located, it was done within a week. It works great now. Service and Mechanics were all good. The people the recommended them to me, and they were happy with them. I would use them again.

The crew showed up as scheduled, removed old gas furnace and installed the new HVAC combo system in one work day. That included removal of all old equipment. The installation crew worked flawlessly together, were very polite, thoroughly checked out both the gas furnace and air conditioning systems, cleaned up afterwards, answered all my questions, and showed me how to use the new thermostat (which is compatible with Amazon Echo) and change the filter.

All Went perfectly form beginning, to end.

W.E.S. was on time. Devised a plan and executed that plan. They were low bider. Installation was neat and they cleaned-up.

Very professional. Did the job quickly ( in an hour). charged exactly what was quoted over the phone.

They are a great company. They are real proficient in their work. Their prices are real competitive.

Washington Energy installed my Bryant Furnace and A/C in 2000. Installation was excellent and system worked great until July 8, 2017 (a weekend, of course) when our A/C stopped working. I called WA Energy on July 10th asking for a service call to repair unit. I was shocked when first open repair date was in August!!! August? Ridiculous. I told them what I thought of their follow-up customer service and I would never be calling them again...for anything. I called another Angie's List company and got a repair date for July 12th.

Installers informed me of arrv. time & were here at that spec. time. Timely install. Kept me informed. Install performed well. Professional, personable. Answered questions I had.

The guy that came out and talked to me is really my go to. He gave me 4 different options like heat pump or just replacing. I learned more about my gas furnace and everything else in the house while he was getting information for the bid. I didn't even go to a second person. I didn't even get another bid after talking to this guy. They can use the existing ductwork from my furnace. They were part of the electric utility. They do all kinds of HVAC stuff. They've been around for a while. They started out as kind of a utility and now they aren't doing the utility work anymore. They will just check on anything you need. There's a 15% discount, which is big when you're looking at getting new furnace and air conditioning. Totally professional. Very knowledgeable. Very security conscious. Showed me his badge and everything. He sat in my garage and did the contract and talked about dates and everything.

They came on time. They got the work done in the amount of time they said, tested it all out, and got the permits. They did everything in a pretty timely manner. There was a little bit of a wait because of prior sales but I was happy overall. The workers were fine, they knew what they were doing.

The initial consultation went well. I received a bid of $5500 which I accepted. After two weeks of no communication I called to determine the status. I was told by the consultant there was a mistake made and the components plus install would be $6500. I said I would accept the offer as long as I could receive a low interest loan for the $1000 difference between the first and second bid. A few days later the consultant said he needed to come by to obtain my signature for the contract...which he did. Upon leaving he said the office would call me to set up the installation time. After two to three weeks of no communication I called the office to determine status. They told me there was an issue and said the sales manager would call me back. Two days later the head sales manager called me and indicated that the consultant no longer worked there. The sales manager apologized and said he, himself would need to come to my home to verify the consultants recommendation even after I had a signed contract between myself and WES. After playing some phone tag and attempting to set up THIRD consultation and leaving a message for the sales manager, I never received another communication from him. I now have a signed contract with WES and am still waiting (after 2 years) for them to honor their legal commitment...I know it will never happen, but I certainly won't use WES for ANY type of work since they do no appear to honor their legal commitments.

I had no complaints when we first started using them. I would question the quality of what they sold me in ways of the heat pump.

After a little more than a year, it stopped functioning. It turns out the compressor was not working and only had a one year warranty. They told us that they would give us the part, but charge us $1500 for the installation. When he fixed the compressor he told us the circuit board also needed to be replaced. It's been a nightmare trying to get it fixed due to all the trips and the parts that were ordered wrong.

Great. They did it in one day and when it looked like they were behind schedule they called in a couple other guys to get back on track and meet their commitment. After two months I'm pleased with the quality of work. All the staff were helpful, friendly, articulate, and committed to quality.

The price was shocking until we got to last summer and we used the heat pump for the air conditioner. It was worth it and has saved money on our utility bill over time.

Their field people are awesome. They are very good at explaining for the layman how the system works, how settings can be maintained to make it more efficient for us. They tell us things that we can do so they don't have to be called out. They are very pleasant people. They leave the area very clean.
