Town & Country Fence

They came out and discussed what we wanted, including several options for the cedar tree on the fence line that the neighbors wanted to keep. Also provided options for handling the difference in height between my yard and the neighbor's yard. Quote followed up within a few days as promised. They came out on the day they promised at the time arranged and very quickly removed the old fence, set the new posts, and hauled all the debris away. As soon as the concrete for the new posts was set, they came back and built the new fence. They did a very quick, quality and professional job, even better than I had hoped. Would definitely use them again.

The fence turned out great. The team was able to accomodate the retaining wall we put in and make the fence as level as possible. On time, on budget, zero problems. Fantastic work!

Their estimate was the lowest of the 3 I got and the only one which was all inclusive. Work had to be scheduled around a tree firm removing two trees and pruning in the neighbor's yard. There were a few communication difficulties and delay in getting the fence completed. The work was done efficiently to my specifications and in a minimum amount of time on the 2 work days involved. While the fence looks good, cleanup left something to be desired and several individual fence posts will need sanding. Overall, I would not hesitate to use Town and Country again when the rest of the fence needs replacing.

As has been my experience with Town and Country Fence in past, they exceeded expectations in being willing to work closely with me on the appearance and functionality of the finished fence section. I felt this job was particularly challenging since it was my acquiring a very large, agile dog that led to a higher and more closed (and less weathered) fencing solution The end product is delightful, and communications and problem solving during the whole process was an A+ for Town and Country. This is not a custom fencing contractor, but their standard work is very very good in comparison .

We are very happy with the finished product from Town and Country Fence. We received quotes from two different companies and they were the more inexpensive option. They sent two separate crews two complete the work. We did not meet the finishing crew, but were very impressed with the punctuality, professionalism and friendliness of the crew that removed our existing fence and set the fence posts for the new project. We would happily use them again in the future.

My first call requesting information went to voice mail, even though the message said I was calling during office hours. I didn't get a call back for several days, and I had called them again before the call back. The estimator came and measured the space; the estimate should have arrived in a few days, but it didn't. When I finally got the estimate the lag time for installation was about three weeks. From first call to the office to the completion of the work it felt like no one was interested in completing this is a timely way. I understand this is a busy time, but still, the time involved was too much. The gate they installed is fine. I needed to have them come back to drill a hole so that I could open it from the front since the latch was on the inside and at the top of the gate.. Also the latch crossbar came loose and I never figured out why, When they drilled the hole they and quot;fixedand quot; it. My hesitation on rehiring them if I need fencing is that I never felt they were actively concerned with the product. I shouldn't have had to ask them to drill the hole. I shouldn't have had to call them more than once to find out the time-line. They didn't ask if I would prefer treated wood (since it RAINS here). Maybe I'm picky, but...

Very professional in all respects. Because of the style of fence and slope to our property, there were some challenges in getting it to come out right. The owner himself checked with us and made some in-process modifications, and the result was excellent. Both crews that came out were very hard working and easy to deal with.

Joel was very professional and asked many questions to determine exactly what we needed. He described all of our options and made serveral recommendation on the best solution to meet our need. We did not go with Town and Country because we received a lower bid from another contractor, but I will contact them again if the future if I ever need their services.

All their people were very professional and pleasant to do business with. Every step in the process was accomplished right on schedule. The finished fence is very solid and looks great. Will hire them again to do another fence in a few months.

Everyone I encountered at this firm—the estimator, office staff, and installers—were helpful, efficient, and professional. The new fence is exactly what I wanted, and I could not be happier. Highly recommend this company!

The only problem I had with them is that there was a week gap between the time the put in the posts and then finished the fence. Otherwise, they did a great job and left a clean work area. Happy with the fence. Suggested changes from the old fence that I am very happy with.

I was very satisfied with their service. They were professional and very helpful. I had some special requirements about moving some materials around for the extra fence. They helped me get rid of it, and they went out of their way. They were less expensive. They charged me five feet for my yard, even though they must charge me six feet.

It went very well. They needed to come back and re-do one small bit, and they did it cheerfully and quickly.

A consultant come to the house and gave us a quote of approximately $2300, which was comparable to other bids we obtained. Due to a busy work season, they were not able to come out for approximately 3-4 weeks. When they did come out, the staff that removed the old fence and installed fence posts did it quickly and with minimal mess. They returned in a few days and installed the fence boards, gate, and arbor in one day. The fence looks very sturdy and little mess was left behind. One complaint we had was that they did not finalize the gate top design with us before cutting the gate boards. Our agreement with the consultant was that we would discuss it on the day of installation as we could not make up our minds at that time. We had an arbor installed on top of the gate and therefore, we had a few different options for the template for the top of the gate. However, the fence installers cut the gate top before asking us if we had decided on the design, thus we gave them a B instead of an A.

They were prompt. They came with the bid and followed up. Everything about them was professional.

Great. Came in. Removed old fence and gate and installed a new exact match. Were done in one day and left the place clean.

I cannot say enough good things about this complany. They truly stand behind their work and do a top knotch job. This is the third time I have had them do a job for me and once again I'm impressed with their work I had another part of my yard fenced in a few years ago. My back yard fence was falling apart so I decided it was time to replace this as well. They matched the color and style perfectly.

Town and Country was great to deal with from beginning to finish. They provided a quick, highly competitive estimate. They were the only company (out of the 3 we called) that offered prestained cedar boards. Although not the cheapest, we went with them because of their rating on Angies List and previous KOMO report on fence companies. They were very efficient, as all the posts were set in a few hours. Then 3 days later, paneling was completed in 1 day. Even our landscape renovation company was highly impressed at their efficiency. The fence is straight and the gaps are tight. We would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone needing fence work.

The panel boards of the fence were suppose to be 1and quot; x 4and quot; per the signed contract but instead were 1/2and quot; x 4and quot; and because of this the boards warped within 6 months. When I contacted Town and Country they said that the warping would not have been noticeable if the spacing had been 5/8and quot; instead of slightly narrower. I changed the spacing width on the day the job started after seeing that a narrower width would look better. They automatically choose the 5/8and quot; space because that is the width of their staple gun tip. Had I known that the boards would warp, I would have decided upon no spacing. Town and Country said that they could install a third rail to prevent further warping but that I would have to pay for it. I told them that it didn't seem fair that I should have to pay for the third rail given that the boards were not sized according to the signed contract. They said that when you buy in large quantities as they do you have no control over the thickness of the boards. The owner said he would see if there was any leeway on the cost for the third rail and get back to me but never did. If they had told me up front that the boards would not necessarily be 1and quot; thick and therefore warp without a third rail, I would have chosen a third rail or see if a smaller fencer could guarantee a thickness that wouldn't warp. The top trellis boards have also warped and the overall profile of the trellis as you walk up to the house is crooked.

My husband and I researched several companies and received 4 estimates for replacing our old, beat up, spray painted, UGLY chainlink fence. Town and Country was certainly not the cheapest, but their staff gave excellent advice and really helped me determine the best style for my property. Additionally, when we walked around our neighborhood, it seemed that whenever a fence stood out to us, it was done by them. It was well worth it. The team was flexible on start date. We wanted to remove the fence ourselves to save some money and it took longer than anticipated. The guys were great, calling to check in without being pushy. Someone always answered my emails within 24 hours and usually within a couple of hours. When they were installing the fence they kept it tidy and they were FAST - 1 week, and my beautiful fence was installed! They cleaned up after themselves, spic and span! A rare thing with contractors I have found.Most importantly, fantastic work!!! My fence really has improved the look and feel of my property. I am so glad I went with their sugge stions, it really blends with the look of our house. Our neighbors are happy too, no more chainlink!
