Town & Country Fence

Everyone at Town and Country was easy to deal with. The estimator was very thorough explaining the options. He had samples of the pre-stained cedar with him, so there were no surprises. Both crews were courteous and efficient and verified the details with us before starting the job. On both work days, the crews finished the day with a thorough cleanup. All in all, we were very pleased with the company and their bid was very competitive.

Town and Country did a great job. I really appreciated that their estimator took the time to answer all of my questions, and even convinced me to put in a black cyclone fence along our backyard instead of the picket fence I was originally planning. The end result is great. We have a beautiful, 6' cedar privacy fence on two sides of our backyard and a nearly invisible black cyclone fence along the back giving unobstructed views of the greenbelt and trees behind our house. I also appreciated that they scheduled the job for Friday and the following Monday to reduce the amount of time we had to keep our dog in the house due to no fence.

Not able to use a gas powered auger system to dig the holes so they dug them by hand. They did a great job with that and put the fence up 3 days later as the posts had to sit for awhile. Very professional.

Outstanding! Frank arrived the same day that we called with our request. He did an outstanding job putting our old fence back together. He also gave us a very good estimate for having the fence replaced, which we plan to do later this year. We will use Town and Country for the work.

The good outweighs the bad on this job. The estimator and the crew were punctual. They started and and finished on-time. The fence looks fabulous. I had to make them move a post that was misplaced. And the final result still deviated from the proposal. However the deviations were a pleasant surprise, and we didn't make an issue out of them. If we had, I'm certain that they would have bent over backwards to make it right. The end result is a great fence and we got more than we paid for.

From start to finish job went very well. Estimator was polite and punctual and accurate. Both work crews (post setters and fence installers) were punctual, polite and very customer oriented. Workmanship was excellant.

The project estimator (Adam) was very thorough and detailed in his estimate. He explained all the options clearly and measured each section of the fence separately so I could split costs appropriately with my neighbors. The office staff was very courteous and professional and I always received prompt answers to my questions. The whole experience from beginning to completion was pleasant and easy.

It went exactly as they said it would. They arrived 5/4/09 at 8:45am, tore down and disposed of the old fence, and sank the posts for the new one in concrete. They returned on 5/7/09 as scheduled (in order to allow the concrete to set) at 8:45 and were finished installing the fence, including two gates, by 2:00 pm. Both crews were courteous, very neat and cleaned up with absolutely no debris or dirt left behind. Their bid was considerably lower than the only other one I received. I would recommend them to anyone.

They really did a good job. They are punctual and professional. They worked around some plants that I already had. Their bid was competitive. They were quick and cleaned up after themselves.

It was a really good experience. It was next to impossible to get fence people to come in and be on time and do their thing, but they were really good. Their prices were reasonable. I would hire them again. We had an issue with the fence, and they were back the next day to take care of it.

They did a great job. They were very prompt. They did the job quickly. It took about a day to complete the job. The fence beams are cemented in. They cleaned up any mess. We later decided to extend the fence to our front yard.

Taking out the fence went well. It was supposed to be a six foot fence but it wasn't even all the way across. They were easy to get a hold of. They did the work in a timely manner. I told them that the fence and they came back to look at it but they said it wasn't off enough to redo.

We were very pleased with the work, starting with a very reasonable bid, on time performance, excellent workmanship and complete cleanup. The bill was mailed to us so we didn't have to prepay or pay at completion. Our initial contact, Adam Haynes was easy to work with when we went through a couple revisions. We were able to quickly resolve any problems encountered as the work progressed. This was a great example of depending on Angie's List for contractor recommendations.

It went wonderfully, from start to finish. First of all, George Miner made the estimate process easy - particularly as we didn't know exactly what we wanted. We kept having new design ideas, necessitating various phone calls to change the specs. We ended up with various heights of 1 x 6 mod panel fencing, as well as one section of residential rail and a number of gates. For those who don't know, fences are put up in two phases - posts are set and then a different crew (in our case, at least) came and put up the fence itself. Both teams worked with admirable precision and speed. And they were great guys. The fence looks beautiful. Hopefully, we won't have to do it again - but if we do, we'll use this company without hesitation.

Sales Rep arrived on time, was pleasant and knowledgeable and let us know what could or could not be done. When we changed our minds about a particular style after the initial quote they responded quickly with an updated cost. The work was scheduled as promised 2 weeks after we agreed to the quote. As stated by the rep, the posts were dug and set first and then another crew arrived 5 days later to install the fencing. The end product looks great with good attention to detail.

The sales representative was very professional and knowledgeable, and took the time necessary to educate me on fencing and answer all my questions. The crew walked the fence line with me to make sure the posts were going to be installed in the correct positions. The crew to install the fence showed up without any notice, which did not work for me because I had scheduled other work to be done on our property the day they showed up. So, they came back another day. The fence looks great, but I was a little surprised that it wasn't touching the ground in all areas. The sales representative came back out and explained why it was built this way, and it made sense after hearing his explanation. There was a billing error, which the sales rep also corrected.

They were excellent. They worked fast and were thorough. Put the posts in on one day. Came back 3 days later and installed all the fencing. It looks beautiful and neighbors have all commented what a great looking fence. We have a territorial view. We are glad we went with a 2 foot lattice verses the normal 1 foot lattice. It makes such a difference.

I did not fill out the price because it was split between myself and my neighbor. The price was very reasonable though. They were very easy to work. They man that came out for the estimate was very knowledgeable and professional. He also answered questions well and stayed true to his word. The crew was neat and quick. I am very pleased with the work. I would use them again in the future and would absolutely recommend them to others.

Excellent. They were very reasonably priced (2/3 the other quote we received). We didn't have to wait long, and they were patient with me while I figured out where the fence would go and how to clear parts of the lot to make room. The fence looks great. Good experience.
