Toma Toma Firewood

Got 1/2 cord of firewood (half hardwood) delivered. Excellent quality. Probably 3/4 of the wood was cherry, most of the rest is alderwood. Very dry, fires start easy and burn for a while. No question I will buy firewood from Toma Toma again.

I realized it was late in the season but needed firewood. I contacted Toma Toma firewood using their order form during the Christmas holidays. I was contacted within a few hours by the owner who explained they were on vacation but would return to work on Jan. 6th. I was then contacted, ordered the 1/2 cord of seasoned firewood and it was delivered on Jan. 8th. The wood was exactly as described and was seasoned. Having been told this in the past and been disappointed I was very pleased. I was impressed by the quality of the product and the great service. I will be using this provider again in the future.

Had 1/2 cord of mixed wood delivered. Requested shorter lengths for wood burning stove and got what I asked for. Delivery was prompt and wood looks really nice. Good mix of cherry, apple, alderwood and some soft woods too.

I called to place an order. The gentlemen asked me to submit the request via their website. I tried several times but continued to get error messages stating that the order was not placed. So, I called back and left a voice mail stating such. I later received an e-mail stating they had found the order and would let us know when it would be delivered; they didn't give any details or confirmation number or even state what the order was. I responded to the e-mail asking a few questions, including how payment would be processed. So, the order process was a bit frustrating. Finally, they indicated a delivery date and time and delivered exactly what they said they would at the time they said they would. So, that was satisfactory. However, the driver came to the door to ask for a cash or check payment. We had not anticipated this, so we did not have cash on hand (we don't keep checks or large amounts of cash in the house). After a bit of back and forth, we came to a mutual agreement that we would send them a cashier's check via mail the next date. Again, a bit frustrating. Now, let's keep in mind that this vendor is in the business of providing firewood. With that, the wood - which was the product of the endeavor - is clean, dry, and cut to a standard dimension. It makes a nice fire and keeps us cozy. For a fair price, I'm satisfied. Now that I know the and quot;processand quot; for this vendor, I can be prepared next time. So, yes, despite the quirky office, I intend to order from them again.

I had a tree taken down in March and had split several of the sections of the tree for fire wood but a number of large pieces were left that I could not use. Bob came over and looked at the tree and gave me an estimate for removing the wood. The tree was large and the remaining sections of the tree were large. Bob's people cut the wood up and hauled it away. They did a good job and I would use them again.

There are some miscommunication and initially about the delivery date. We contacted them to ask them for delivery on a Friday and they said they would schedule us for Friday. We thought that meant they were coming out that Friday so my wife stayed home all day waiting for them. They meant that they would schedule us for a Friday to come. After sorting out the details they agreed to come out the next Friday between 10 and 12. They arrived around 10:30 which is understandable considering the long distance they had to travel to our house in Maple Valley. They were very cheerful and professional. They ended up giving us their Deluxe Mix which has more hardwood than the mix we ordered, but they only charged us for the NW Mix we ordered. They dumped the wood right where we asked despite the tight fit and went on their way.

They were easy to make arrangements to come deliver the wood. They stacked the wood in neat piles for use for no extra charge. The owner was very educated he was able to explain to us how the different types of wood would burn. We paid a little more for a better quality of wood but it was well worth it. We would use them again in the future.

It went great. Called up Toma Toma spoke with the owner, he told me to come out and pick up the wood at my convenience. His set up out there in Lynnwood is pretty awesome. Cords and cords of wood stacked and seasoned...very impressive. The owner (James, I think...could be wrong on the name) is very nice and accomodating. I wanted a 1/2 cord of hardwood, but he talked me into a 1/4 cord of excellent red oak, explainging that unless we have a VERY cold winter and my furnace fails, I wouldn't need that much wood. Made sense, and he was right. The wood burns so hot and long, it doesn't take much to sustain a good fire for hours. Just so you all know, they also deliver, for a fee. Great seasoned wood for those of us who like to enjoy fires in the winter.

Our experience was good. My husband was the one who did it. The quality of the wood was good, it was well cut, and it was easy to pick up. They helped load the truck. My husband was happy. They were good, because they were responsive, they are local, close by, convenient, and the provided good quality wood. I would give them all As. We would use them in the future. We have used them a few times now.

I highly recommend them. Great product. Worth every penny.

We got a quick call-back on our inquiry about firewood. The various choices were clearly explained and price clearly quoted. The wood was delivered as promised on the date and time agreed upon. It was exactly as offered and an excellent value for the money. We will definitely purchase from this vendor again.

E-mailed Jim Kwon of Toma Toma firewood on 1/2/13 to inquire about firewood. Did not get a prompt response and left a voice message. He called back a few days later and had been out of town for the weekend and apologized for the delay. He described the wood that he had and that he was just selling 1/2 cords of some packages due to low inventory. Asked me to go online and submit an order through his website. I did so and received a reply a few days later acknowledging the order and asking if I had any preferences of a delivery date. Replied with my preferences and received a call a few days later from his delivery person telling me he would be at my house. Delivery arrived on time and the wood was stacked in a container which made it easy to see that it was a 1/2 cord. The driver backed his truck in right in front of my shed and and dumped the wood there. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

Jim is friendly and very helpful. I spoke to him and he took the time to find out how I was using wood and the size of my fireplace. He made a recommendation based on what I told him and it was not the most expensive wood he delivers. He directed me to his website and I put in my order there. He contacted me as promised and scheduled a date for the delivery. He told me in advance what the price would be and it was exactly as quoted. The wood was just delivered minutes ago and I couldn't be happier. It's clean and beautiful wood, the size and condition just as he described. This was a breeze and I wouldn't dream of getting wood anywhere else. They were quick, friendly and professional. Thanks Toma Toma for making this an easy process.

I ordered the firewood from Toma Toma's website, but received a phone call from Jim to confirm details and delivery time. Jim and Earl were waiting at the exact appointment time when I arrived home. The fir/applewood mix was the cleanest, driest and most uniform wood I have purchased in 30+ years, and it was a full cord. They piled it artfully in my driveway. Toma Toma is not as cheap as some amateur wood providers, but the price difference is worth it in service and firewood quality.

James was quick to respond from the first contact to the last. We really appreciate that they delivered to our location.

I've purchased about 6 cords of wood over the past 2 seasons from Toma Toma, usually a cord at a time, and I continue to be impressed with the quality of the wood and the amazing personal service provided. The owner, Jim, is always courteous and helpful on the phone and will spend as long as needed to fully answer any questions I have and is quick to offer lots of great advice. Dave delivers the wood right on schedule and is nice as can be. He's always glad to provide helpful suggestions as well. The wood is always delivered tightly stacked and measured in a cubed trailer box and is seasoned, dry and ready to burn. I have a small stove and I appreciate that I can always count on Jim and Dave to take the effort to select logs that are sized to fit. I know that there are people charging a little less than Toma Toma does, but when a delivery truck shows up with moldy, wet or dirty wood, or with a pile of unstacked logs, you'll realize that sometimes you do get what you pay for and no one offers a better deal than Toma Toma. Toma's dedication to their customers shows in their low prices, high quality and unbeatable service. I wouldn't buy from anyone else.

They delivered the firewood on a rainy day and were careful to unload into my garage so the wood stayed dry. I appreciated the extra effort. I will use them again.

I called Jim to find out what kind of wood I should order for my fireplace if I'm looking for warmth and visual effect. He told me right away I should get some cherry for aroma and Alder for warmth. He gave me the pricing on email and set up a date for delivery. The delivery man, Dave, came right on time. Upon arrival, he drove around to my garage side of the house as I asked, he showed me the wood and once I approved he started stacking the wood next to my garage. Jim explained to me that stacking fee is $25 minimum. It took about an hour to stack 1/2 cord of wood and Dave stacked it in a very organized manner that the fee was well worth it. My husband and I tried the wood last night, and they're fantastic! Initially when I recieved the pricing, I thought it's a little more than what I would like to pay for firewood, but found out it's for a good reason. Last year we ordered wood from someone on Craigslist for less than Toma Toma and it was just OK, but not fantastic. Toma Toma's wood has wonderful aroma, burns very slow and produce good heat. I'm very happy with Jim's service and the products. I'll order from him again next year. Thank you!

I called the company and they were very responsive, he explained the different types of wood he had and then set a time of my choosing to deliver the wood. I ordered a cord which was delivered on time and on the date specified. All the wood was very well aged and I have so far had no problem burning it. The delivery looked to be a little over a cord so as far as I can tell I got my money's worth. I would use Toma Toma again.

Jim was extremely helpful and friendly. He spent 30 minutes on the phone helping determine which kind of firewood would best suit my need and patiently answering all my questions. The delivery arrived on time and was unloaded by another friendly guy. The wood quality is great. I've heard about people having bad experiences with some firewood sellers, but Toma Toma is great. This was my first time buying firewood, and I would absolutely use them again.

The delivery person, Dave, was extremely courteous and helpful, especially under the circumstances of my being laid up with an injury and unable to attend to the delivery myself.
