He came out on the same day he was called...assesed the problem (faulty burned out wiring) and took the time to call and make sure he could get the permits he needed quickly as an elderly, wheel-chair bound person was living there. He worked all day to get the panel installed so the electricity could be up and running right away.
Description of Work: Jeff Starr replaced an electrical panel in a rental property I own.

The first time they were sub-contractor so I didn?t pay for that. The second time I paid 800 dollars and the last one was 4200 dollars. Upgrading the service is kind of an expensive job, you?re looking at 3000 bucks just to switch the panel and then any extra wiring is on per hour basis with equipment. The work that they did was great. They were very easy to talk to and explained things to accommodate these different things that we needed done. They were very punctual and estimate was very accurate. They would work with us on things that we could do to keep the cost down, things that you wouldn?t necessarily want an electrical contractors to do as you could do it yourself. So, they were very easy to work with.
Description of Work: The first time they worked for me was in December 2008 and the last time was July 2009. The first they were sub-contractor for the company who was installing a sump pump in our crawl space, they did the electrical to fix that. I also had them come out to fix a sub-panel and the grounding in order to meet the inspectors when we were buying the house. I had them come back to upgrade the service from 100 amp to 220; install additional outlet and the wiring for our new hot tub.

He was hired to wire a sump pump for a drainage issue under my home. I mentioned my lamp post lights hadn't worked in years and he gladly took the time to wire them for me and only charged me an additional $50 rather than schedule me for a later date and charge me an extra trip fee.
